Mari's POV

We had made it to Master Fu's place and sat on the floor with the bag in the middle of the circle we formed. We each took turns telling what adventures we had endured when we split up.

"K, so what's in the bag?" Nino asked.

"Don't know" was Adrien's reply.

"But we are about to find out" I said as i dumped the bag's contents over. The kwamis rushed over, interested and started picking up random things and naming them.

"A book on Tibet"
An old flyer from a hotel"
"The miraculous book"
"A model of the peacock miraculous""Pastries"

This went on for a few minutes as we all thought about what was the relationship between all these things.

"So what's the connection?" Ladan pondered aloud.

"Well, the pastries are food from my parent's bakery" i said.

3rd Person POV

"But what does the rest of this stuff mean?" Llea asked, picking up and examining the book on Tibet.

"Well, how did Gabriel get his hands on that?" Ladan said, grabbing the miraculous book from Plagg, who was holding it. She opened it up and flipped through.

"Is that-" Eric asked before Ladan shut him up by simply nodding.

"Is there something I'm missing?" Kaden asked.

"I'm lost too, what is that?" Alya asked.

"Well, how do i put this..." Ladan said, glancing over to Eric for help. He glanced back and nodded. "...this holds all the info of the miraculous. I never thought i would see it in person, much less hold it." She stopped, holding it a few inches away from her face and flipped through the book really fast, smelling the wonderful scents of the ancient book. "Its in pristine condition too!"

"You got that by smelling it?" Nino asked. "Some Athena kid magic?"

"Nope, but the better the book smells, the nicer it is." Ladan said as if it were obvious.

"I always wondered what had happened to it after i gave it back to Gabriel" Mari said, recalling that day.

"Ok, so what does all these stuff have in common?" Adrien asked as they got to the point of why they had these objects.

"A-Adrien, what's a picture of your mom doing here?" Mari stuttered for a second as she reached into the pile and brought out a framed picture of Emile Agreste.

"Natalie was saying something about finding mom" Adrien said.

"Maybe that's it!" Nino exclaimed. "What if that's the reason for coming to Paris? We have to find your mom"

Everyone started to realize what they had to do. Ladan did her thing where she thinks while staring at one thing, tuning out everything else yet listening at the same time.

"So your father is searching for your mother?" Eric asked while ladan stared at the pile of random objects, mind going a billion miles per hour.

"Yes, but Natalie made it sound like a bad thing" Mari responded.

"But where could she be?" Kaden asked.

Slowly, they all turned to Ladan, the know-it-all with the helpful Aquaa on her head as they stared at the pile.

"What're they doing?" Alya whispered to the others.

"Thinking how the objects fit together" Eric said. "...i think..."

Then, as if the kwami could read her mind, Aquaa dove into the pile of things and grabbed a map of China with a note on where Tibet is, Emilie's picture, and the fake peacock pin. She stacked them together and placed them on Ladan's lap.

"Thanks" Ladan said as she picked the objects up and thought carefully, muttering to herself. "So Mrs. Agreste must know of her existence, how else would she know how to create the perfect model of it. And maybe the lost thing is in Tibet?...No! She must be hiding it with her in China. More precisely, Tibet!" The others only caught bits and pieces of what she was saying, not enough to make sense.

"Wait, that's the peacock miraculous, isn't it?" Eric asked.

"It's only a model E, try to keep up." Ladan said as she snapped out of her thoughts.

"So what did you figure out?" Kaden asked.

"Just that there's a good chance the missing miraculous of the peacock and its holder are in Tibet." Ladan smiled brightly.

Eric gasped. "You mean Ms.P has been in Tibet all this time?"

"I guess, all the signs are pointing to it" Ladan said. Then she looked towards the others, realizing that they didn't follow in their conversation. "We have got to stop finishing each others thoughts E, they look soo lost"

"No no, go on. I want to hear what you're saying" Kaden rolled his eyes and looked at them expectantly.

"What are you saying?" Mari asked.

"How can you read each others minds?" asked Alya.

"My brain hurts from listening" Nino complained.

"She's saying, we know where we have to go next." Eric answered Mari's question.

"And Alya, at this point, Eric and i are practically joint at the hip, we are that close." Ladan said. Everyone ignored Nino's comment.

"What time is it? We've been here for a while" Adrien asked.

Alya checked her phone. "About 6 o'clock"

"We have to go then! Natalie said that we have to leave Paris by nightfall" Adrien panicked.

"We can't carry the bag with us! Stuff all the contents into our bags and leave the duffel bag behind!" Kaden said as they stuffed everything and secured it there. They exited and tried to leave Paris, until there was an akuma attack.

"Gods...why now?" Kaden groaned. Ladan handed her bag to Kaden.

"Lets go! Kaden, you get somewhere safe." Ladan said. Kaden nodded and left in the direction opposite of the akuma. The other 6 ran into an alleyway and detransformed.

Mari's POV

We fought in the Arena. The akuma was powerful looking. She said her name was 'the Elemental'. She was angry at her parents for taking away her TV. She was going on about some TV show where the main characters had the power of the elements. It caused the akuma to have those powers.

We decided to attack the akuma straight on.

"Oh, Ladybug and her little kitty, what a pleasant surprise" The Elemental taunted.

"What about us? We're here too!" Nino yelled.

"Oh, yes. Ladybug has her little animal buddies with her" She smirked. "How about a little water for the Turtle?"

Her right hand shot out as a strong jet of water apeared and shot towards Nino. No one had time to react except Ladan, who aimed her water trident at the moving water and it got sucked into the trident. She spun it around fancily a few times before using both hands to hold and aim it at the akuma.

"Thanks" Ladan smirked. "I needed a power surge"

"Oh yeah, well how will you stop this?" She shot a ball of fire at us. It got so close, i felt it getting hot and i think a few hairs burned. Ladan rose her trident as a line of water shot out and hit the fire, making it go out. "Nice job, but i bet you didn't notice this!" Her right hand pointed to the ground where thick, long vines had wrapped around our legs and torsos, making us incappable of moving. The akuma turned away from us. The vines crawled up our bodies, trapping our arms where they were, mine were holding my yo-yo at an opening between the vines.

"Chat..." I groaned, stuggling against the vines.

"Yes Bugaboo?" He answered through the pain. He was the closest to me.

"You-your st-aff" I said. The vines wrapped and squeezed my ribcage just under my breasts. Was it getting tighter? Harder to breathe? "E-extend it to me-e"

He struggled to push it my way before extending it. i grabbed it since my hands and yo-yo were free. I wrapped my yo-yo string around it with the main part loose.

"Ok-k, now p-ull it in, try to get it to wrap around my vines" I said in a hoarse whisper. He did as told and the vines around me snapped apart and fell to the ground. I walked over and grabbed my weapon and broke everyone else's vines. We were all catching our breaths and holding on to where it squeezed the most. "You okay?" I asked, holding on to Chat since his legs were the part that was squeezed the most.

"Y-yeah" he panted. "Glad you can think fast on your feet Bugaboo." He winked at me. "You know, the vines around you really showed off your curves"

"Now's not the time Kitty" I flicked his bell playfully. Will the cat ever learn?

"How'd you get out of my vines?" The Elemental yelled and turned towards us. "No matter, but how will you escape these?" Her hand shot out again and ladan was trapped in a ball of water a foot of so off the ground, Eric was wrapped in vines again, Alya and Nino had pressure and gravity forcing them to be glued to the ground, and Adrien and i had a fire ball heading towards us.

"Hey guys, I'm fine. I can't really get out for some reason though. You don't have to save me for now" Ladan said as she slammed her foot against the side of the sphere, not breaking through.

"Hyaa!" Eric yelled as he snapped the vines with his whip.

The fireball was heading towards me and Adrien. He was still catching his breath as i lunged, knocking the two of us to the ground. We rolled out of the way as the fireball hit the bleachers behind us.

He had ended up on top of me, smirking. "If you wanted me M'lady, you could've asked." I groaned. Did the kitty have any common sense? He just has to flirt while fighting.

"Chat..." I groaned then saw a light from the side. I forced him to turn his head towards it. "...Chat, LOOK OUT!" I yelled.

His eyes went wide as the fireball headed towards us. he panicked and rolled us under and past Ladan's floating water bubble. The fire hit the water and both disappeared and Ladan fell to the ground. "Owch" she yelped, massaging her butt from the fall. "A bit of a warning would've been nice" she muttered.

"So how do we help them?" Adrien asked, pointing to Nino and Alya who were still on the ground from the crushing pressure.

"I know, LUCKY CHARM!" i shouted as i summoned, toy hand cuffs? I scanned the area. The soccer goal, Eric's whip, and the akuma's wrists. i had an idea. "Eric, toss me your whip" I called and ran to the soccer goal near the akuma and climbed it. i caught the whip and wrapped it around the middle of the handcuffs. i got a running start and leaped over the akuma and flicked the whip just so the handcuffs landed perfectly around the akuma's wrists. The elemental tried to attack, but her hands were tied. Adrien ran up and smashed the akumatized object, a bracelet we just noticed on her right arm, and purified it. "MIRACULOUS LADYBUG!" I grabbed the handcuffs and threw them into the air, fixing all the damage including the burn marks and Nino and Alya's air pressure situation.

We were going to detransform in an alley, until the press came.

"Hello, I'm Nadja Chamack and I'm here with our favorite foursome of Superheroes and 2 new ones." Nadja said to the camera man. She then stuck a mic in my face. "Ladybug, what's the news, where have you been for the last week or so?"

"We've been on a trip" Alya said. "We have normal live too you know?"

"Yes, of course. And who are these new heroes? Will they also be protecting the city from Hawkmoth and his minions?" Nadja asked and forced the mic into Ladan's face.

"Excuse me? New?! I'm sorry, but we've been saving the rest of the world for almost 8 years now. If anything, they're the newbies" Eric said, moving the mic so he could speak.

"Leon, please stop" Ladan groaned. "This is the first time they're hearing of us so be nice"

"Whatever" Eric scoffed.

My earrings beeped. "Well guys, I gotta go. You hang here with Nadja till i get back." I said then swung my self into an ally and detransformed. "That was close Tikki" I whispered to her as we walked out.

"Where'd Kaden go?" She asked.

"I don't know. Lets go find out" I said as she nodded and flew into my purse. I found Kaden back at Fu's place. "Kaden, lets go" i said, poking my head through the door.

"You're done? Are we leaving Paris now?" He asked as we walked out and the door magically closed. I always hated how creepy that door was.

"Not exactly" Kaden gave me a confused look. "They're being bombarded by Paris's local news lady"

We ran to where the others and Nadja were.

"Hi Mrs. Chamock, haven't seen you recently." i said, standing next to the woman.

"Hello Marinette, what're you doing here?" She asked.

"I wanted to say hi to the new superheroes" I smiled.

She shrugged. "Back to the questions. You two seem to have a close relationship, are the two of you dating?"

"No, of course not! Leon, he's just like one of my brothers" Ladan said kindly.

"That, and the fact that I'm gay" Eric said nonchalant. "Plus, i have eyes for someone"

"Who?" Ladan asked, smirking as she nudged his side.

"Not here Delphine, not now" Eric replied.

"Ok, so ab-" Nadja started to say before i cut her off.

"Mrs. Chamock, they have lives too, you can't keep them here forever" I said.

"You're right Marinette" She turned to me. "By the way, can you babysit Manon tomorrow?"

"Sorry, i can't" i apologized. i continued talking to her as the others detransformed.

"Hey Purrincess" Adrien whispered I'm my ear as he came up behind me and put his hands on my shoulders.

"You guys ready to go? It's getting late" I asked, noticing the sun was going down. He nuzzled his nose into my hair and made a noise of agreement. "Bye Nadja" i said as he let one hand slide down into mine and walked off. They were just around the corner.

"Ok guys, we got to leave this city now!" Kaden said once we all met up. We then started walking out of the city eastbound.

"I'm still not over the fact that you might have a crush" Ladan squealed, a few feet ahead of us, walking backwards and a raised ball of water just in front and above her head.

"What's the water for?" Alya asked.

"So i won't bump into things" ladan said casually then went back to talking to Eric. "Who is he anyways? Is it a friend? Do i know him well? Is he a demigod? If so, what Cabin? Please, just give me something!" She begged.

"No, i know you. If i tell you the smallest thing about him, you'll miraculously narrow it down and figure it out." He grunted. "I know how smart you Athena kids are"

"I'm a legacy you baka"

"Same thing, you're still a wizard at problem solving"

"I don't know if i should take that as a compliment or not" Ladan shrugged. "Tch, whatever. I'll figure your crush out sooner or later" She smirked.

"I know you will" Eric sighed.

We went miles away from Paris just by walking, but it was getting hard to see in the dark. Luckily, there was a roadside Inn we came across.
