Ladan: Hello peoples!

Eric: Hello ya little schists.

Ladan: Somehow, this is a shorter chapter.

Eric: I don't know how it's just above 3000 words with what goes on in the story.

Ladan: Anyways, this is going to be a pretty fun chapter.

Eric: Capture the flag, Hermes Vs. Apollo!

Ladan: Girlfriends Vs. Boyfriends!

Eric: Did we just spoil something?

Ladan: Yes, yes we did.

Eric: Ok, just making sure. And we're not going to talk about how you didn't update for the last 2 weeks?

Ladan: I was not...sorry guys, I was forgetful last week. Now on with the story while I go pulverize 'someone' for bringing something up that he wasn't supposed to.

Ladan's POV

"Ok Malcolm, what's the info you gathered?" I asked. We both had collected info on who was most likely to join which side in the Apollo Vs. Hermes battle.

"Hecate's joining with Hermes so they can help pull some pranks and Demeter and Dionysus are on the Apollo side." He said as we started to map everything out.

"Well, Hades is sticking with Apollo, naturally." I said and Malcolm nodded in agreement. "Iris, Aphrodite, and Hebe will probably side with Apollo as well because of their association with brightness, color, and youth."

"Nike will most likely join Hermes because they're good friends and have many things in common." Malcolm said. I agreed. "That leaves Tyche, Hypnos, Hephaestus, Eris, Poseidon, and us."

"Eric's on our side as well as Tyson 100%. Hypnos campers will probably sleep through it. Marinette is on the Hermes side as she told me. Now about Hephaestus..." I said.

"Undetermined at the moment... so where shall we stand?" Malcolm continued my thought.

"You choose, but would you rather have there be annoying music or pranks afterwards?" I asked.

"Hermes cabin it is!" Malcolm cheered and threw a few papers in the air.

"Ok, done. Now, see you at dinner." I said and walked to my room to relax and play on my phone.

Mari's POV

When we were ushered out by Ladan, we ended up separating. Eric had gone off to pull a prank with Conner that he said he would. I think Nino said he wanted to go explore the forest or something and Alya went along with him.

"So what shall we do?" I asked as I leaned on Adrien. His arm was wrapped comfortably around me.

"No clue...but first I need to grab my phone and cheese for Plagg. I left them both in my room." Adrien said. "You wouldn't mind, would you?"

"Of course not. besides, I kind of want to see what your cabin is like." I smiled as we walked over to cabin 10. He opened the door and I was left in stunned silence. It looked as though Valentines day threw up in a teenage girl's room. There were posters of almost every famous, beautiful person I've ever heard of and much more that I didn't recognize. There were teen girls sitting around, doing each other's nails or hair. "...wow, soo much pink" that caught one of the girl's attention.

"Hi, do you need a new hairdo or color? I think you would look cute with like white streaks or tips." The girl said as she was painting someone's nails a deep shade of red.

"No, we came here to get something from my room" Adrien said. The girl took a good look at Adrien.

"Well I'll be...I thought Adrien Agreste being my sibling was just another rumor." The girl said as she stood up and walked towards us. "My name is Valentina and I'm a big fan." She shook both of our hands.

"Nice to meet you," I smiled. "My name's Marinette."

"Oh, I know. I heard of you at the shipping meetings yesterday. Your friend Alya told me you're a couple." We continued an awkward conversation for a bit until Plagg bumped into our sides multiple times and almost flew out for everyone to see. I guess he was getting a bit antsy.

"Kitty, we need to get to your room or some kitty's going to be in trouble with another, much smaller kitty" I whispered in French.

"I agree but how are we going to get out of this?" He said back in French.

"Am I interrupting something. I'm sorry." Valentina said in French. I gotta remember that Cabin 10 speaks French.

"Yeah, we gotta go to my room and get something" Adrien said in English, not seeing the point of speaking French when Valentina is able to understand us. We said our goodbyes and went into his room.

"Your room is barren and empty. We should do something with it." I sighed at the boring room. Adrien gave Plagg his cheese.

"Then that's what we'll do with our time!" Adrien exclaimed. "...So where do we get wall paint?"

"Never mind that kitty, we can decorate the walls with other things to compliment the current color" I suggested.

"And that's why your the designer and I'm the model" The kitty put his arm around me and I gave him a quick kiss.

"Well, it's not like you have any fashion sense. I make and pick most of your daily outfits." I said. "Plus, you have the purrfect figure to model my designs." I gave him a tight hug.

"I admit it. The last time you let me pick my own outfit, I walked to school wearing an orange and purple polka dotted top and white and yellow striped pants." Adrien said as I laughed, remembering being sick that day so I couldn't help him get ready in the morning and laughing at him as he walked by my house just as I looked out my window. I didn't even know he had those clothes in his closet. He looked ridiculous. "Even I realized it was bad, but that was only after I left the house and didn't have time to go back."

"Lets get decorating!" I said as we looked to see what we had. I went out into the main room and found out there was a supstitute to wall paint. The Aphrodite girls said it was originally for hair but worked on practically anything. They gave me a lot of it. I asked how much I owed them and they said it was on the house because it was for Adrien. I also grabbed a small bottle of it because I had a great idea.

"So what'd you get?" Adrien asked as I walked back in with a few buckets and a paint roller.

"A supstitute to wall paint!" I exclaimed. "Now, move everything to the middle because I have an idea. And don't look as I work my magic"

He covered his eyes as I opened one of the buckets and got the paint roller. I then went over the ugly beige-colored wall with the roller and kept thinking of the same color it was going to end up. After i finished that part, i grabbed the smaller bottle and a thin paint brush. As a designer, I had to be good in many art styles so i had experience with painting. i thought of the 2 new colors i was going to use and started to make strokes into shapes and figures that were randomly spread out around the room. When I was done, i told Adrien to look and he was shocked at the result. The room was now a pure white with neon green and black cats scattered around as well as other various shapes. We then got to work designing tha layout of the room and i also painted the middle of the floor into a ladybug.

When we finished, we took a step back to admire the room. it was just right for the silly kitty it belonged to. I looked at the clock to see it was almost time for dinner.

"Lets go, all that work left me hungry." i sighed and his belly grumbled. I took that as a sign that he was also hungry so we left to the dining pavilion.

As dinner was ending, Chiron had an announcement to make. "Campers, for tonight's capture the flag games, the Hermes cabin is against the Apollo Cabin. Follow your head counselors to get suited up in armor and decide which team your Cabin will be on. Now, have fun and be careful. We don't want any deaths tonight." Chiron said as everyone followed their cabin mates. Where was I going to go?

"Mari, you go follow Alya and the Hermes cabin since Chiara's not here to help. You'll be on their team." Ladan said and I went to catch up with Alya.

"I guess I'm on your team" I said to my best friend.

"And this is the team that's going to win girl!" Alya cheered.

"Well, they do have us on their team." I said excitedly. "And we are practically unbeatable!"

Once we got our armor on, all the cabins chose their teams. Ladan walked by with Malcolm and Eric.

"And I guess the Hephaestus cabin is on the Apollo side." Ladan shrugged. She then turned to us. "Hey guys, ready to fight against your boyfriends?"

"What?" Alya and I asked in sync.

"Oh, Adrien and Nino are on the other team. You might have to fight them." Ladan said. I was okay with that...I guess. I've fought against Adrien loads of times, but I don't remember a time that Alya and Nino have physically fought each other.

"Ok, Malcolm, I give you all my trust to help us win." Connor shouted towards us.

"So you mean, Malcolm makes the plan perfect, tells everyone what to do, and leads us into the battle while you sit on the sidelines even though you're the one supposed to lead us?" Ladan asked, her tone overflowing with levels of sarcasm.

"Precisely" Conner said.

"I don't mind, he said he would make sure there would be no pranks in our cabin if we win it for them." Malcolm said and Ladan nodded. "Hecate cabin, you will be putting enchantments around our base and guard it well. Ares and Nike cabins, you will come from all sides and circle their base. Tyson, you will lead them. My siblings will be spread out around our side and protect the entirety of our side. Hermes cabin can set up traps or fight as well."

"What'll we do?" Ladan asked pointing to her, Eric, Kaden, and I.

"Ladan, can you see what they're planning?" Malcolm asked.

"Not until 5 minutes into the game, Chiron says I can't to make it fair so I can't directly see Zeus's Fist either." Ladan groaned.

"Ok, you guys stick together and try to get the flag. Ladan, try your power to avoid any enemies coming for you guys. You three watch her back while she's doing that.

"Yes sir" Ladan saluted and we copied her. Then, we heard a noise and everyone started to run. I guess it was time to fight. "Mari, which was should we come from?"

"Why do you ask me?" I asked.

"Because you're a child of luck. Now choose and we'll follow you." Kaden said as I thought. They'd probably be expecting most of the attacks to come from the middle, or that would be to obvious and more guard the sides. Or they could be evenly protect the entire area. UGH! THIS WAS CONFUSING ME!!

I muttered a prayer to my mother, a thing I overheard someone say that could help me. "Tyche, show me the best possible way please" I noticed my black and white vision turn on somehow, but I took it as a good sign. I looked around and saw one path turn to a ladybug pattern. Then my vision turned normal again. I muttered a thanks to my mom before telling my group where to go. "That way!" They followed me as I ran with my yo-yo at hand.

A few minutes into running, we hadn't crossed anyone's path yet. We decided to stop running to rest and let ladan use her powers. As she was doing that, we circled her and looked away. I heard a few noises around us and 3 people appeared around us. Two came from the shadows and I recognized them as Nico and Will. The third was a girl who looked about 13-14 and she appeared over a small group of flowers. Ladan awoke at the right moment. We all separated to dodge incoming attacks.

"Eric, you and I against Meg. Mari on Will and Kaden on Nico." Ladan shouted as she moved just in time to avoid one of the girl's swings. I fought against Will and eventually knocked his sword up into a tree branch that was too far to reach. Kaden looked in trouble against Nico so I decided to help him and together, we managed to make him fall back to the ground, causing him to give up. He was next to Will and in the shadow of the tree so they held hands and disappeared. While that was happening, Ladan and Eric managed to stop Meg and she gave in.

"Guys, I'm coming with you" Alya said as she ran up from the direction of the base.

"Good, lets keep going" I said and we continued. We eventually came across the river and refilled our water bottles which we had already finished. Ladan did some weird hand gesture as some of the water came out in a small sphere as it rose and stayed a few inches above Ladan's upturned left hand. We all took a drink of the running water as well until Eric perked his head up.

"Someone's here" He said and we all got up and got in a circle with our backs together. Ladan created spikes of water to surround us and shot in all directions at a rapid pace.

"Gah!" Someone shouted from a distance away. I heard their footsteps getting closer.

"I told you dude, I knew I had smelled them this way" One voice said.

"Okay, Okay. I'll never doubt you again dude." Said the other voice. They got close enough for me to see them. It was Adrien and Nino! "Hey dudes and dudettes, fancy meeting you here."

"Girls, I think you can handle this, catch up to us when you've defeated them." Ladan said as she, Eric, and Kaden ran off in the direction we were going. That left me and Alya against our boyfriends.

"Als, you take Adrien and I got Nino" I said to her.

"Just don't scratch him up too badly" Alya said as she started to deflect the blows of Adrien's staff.

"Same for you" I said and fought Nino. I had a good idea of what was going to happen. I would defeat Nino and Adrien would defeat Alya. Then we would fight each other. As we fought, it became obvious that that was going to happen. Alya had fallen to the ground and i stopped Nino.

That left me against Adrien. The outcome of this was too hard to predict. We were both slightly tired already. I honestly didn't want to fight him.

"Look, I don't want to fight you purrincess." Adrien said as he dropped his weapon and it rolled to my feet. He looked genuinly like he didn't want to fight.

"I don't either kitty." I ran up to him and he gave me a kiss as i hugged him.

"I have an idea" He said. "How about we let you go and you let us go. We can pretend we never crossed paths." For once he had an idea.

"Yeah, good luck." i said as i helped alya up.

"You too" He said as he and Nino left for our base. We decided to catch up to the others.

"Hey, you defeated them?" Kaden asked.

"Y-yeah. All's good" I said, stuttering at the begining.

We continued the game for a while. Then, we heard the signal that it ended and someone had gotten a flag. We all metback at the campfire to see the results.

"And it looks like it was...a tie?" Mr. D said in suprise. "Adrianne and Nina brought back the Hermes cabin's flag just as Lauren and Halley brought the Apollo flag back!"

"It's Adrien, Nino, Laurel, and Holly." Chiron said. "This has never happened before."

"Yes, how did that happen?" Ladan asked, turning towards me and Alya with a suspicious look.

"They must've gotten back up after our major beating." Alya said. Ladan seemed to believe it and shrugged it off.

As the time around the campfire came to an end, we went back to our cabins. Ladan had already gone into hers with Malcolm and Eric practically passed out on the way to his cabin. I was currently talking with my friends.

"So today was...eventful" Nino said.

"Couldn't have said it better myself babe" Alya commented.

Just as we were about to go our separate ways, we noticed a woman standing by the Hermes cabin. She seemed to be looking directly at Alya. There was no one around anymore as it was almost curfew. We decided to walk over to her.

Alya's POV

The woman was looking directly at me as we walked up to her. She had brown hair that was simply straight and went a bit lower than her shoulders. She was wearing that dress that caused a lot of commotion a few years ago about what color it was. With it, she wore thigh high black boots. Not going to lie, she looked sorta like a newscaster.

"Excuse me, who are you?" I asked the woman.

"Well, rumor has it that I'm Pheme, goddess of gossip and rumors." Pheme said. A real goddess! What was she doing here? "Hi Alya, I'm your mother"

She was my godly parent? That was cool. And I finally got claimed!

"Yay Als! You got claimed!." Mari cheered and hugged me.

I got claimed! I really got claimed! I can't believe it!

"Now, I'm sorry but I must go. I need to go spread gossip to the other minor gods about this moment! They won't believe I've entered Camp Half-Blood!" My mother squealed as she disappeared.

"Well I got to say, my mom is...interesting." I said.

"No kidding. No wonder you are such a great reporter." Adrien said.

Adrien's POV

We were all in our own rooms because it was getting late. I was on my bed in the beautiful room my girlfriend had decorated. When I turned out the lights, I realized that the green cats glow in the dark.

"Goodnight Plagg" I said to the kwami that was laying on the box of camembert on the nightstand next to me.

"Night kid" Plagg said tiredly. "Night cheese"

I was unable to fall asleep for some reason. I ended up staring at the faint glow of the elegantly painted cats for a while as my eyes slowly closed and I fell into a dreamless sleep.
