Halle's POV:

I sat in my seat patiently while Professor Flitwick taught us how to cast the spell Wingardium Leviosa.

"Now it is time for all of you to cast the charm. Remember, swish and flick. And one of my charming students a few years ago reminded me it's Levi-O-sa."

I raised my wand and said,

"Wingardium Leviosa!" Hoping that it would work.

To my delight, my feather went soaring into the sky next to Dominiques. I grinned and gave her a high-five. A few moments later, Gracie's feather went soaring into the air. She smiled and turned over to help Louis. After a while, everyone eventually got the charm, except for the one person we thought would get the spell off the bat. The great James Potter could not cast Wingardium Leviosa.

I debated if I should help him, since if he didn't get it, Gracie would tease him for the rest of his life. In the end, I took a deep breath and turned around.

"You're doing it wrong you know," I said.

"Oh really," He glowered.

"You are doing a flick and swish, not a swish and flick."

It was a miracle, he got it the next try. Professor Flitwick got up on his stack of books and said,

"Well done students! Next class, we will learn Lumos and Nox. The class is dismissed. Have a wonderful day!" He squealed.

We all bustled out of the classroom and I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Halle, I just want to say thank you for what you did back there," James muttered, "Can you meet me in the library this afternoon?"

I hesitated and looked at Gracie, who was walking away with Louis.

"Why."

"I need to talk to you. To be honest, I miss you."

"How do you miss me, I haven't been gone."

"I know, but you've been ignoring me since we got off the boats."

I groaned, "I really don't have time for this..."

"Just please Halle."

"Fine, just don't waste my time with this."

I walked away and didn't look back.
