Shivaay went out of the hospital towards his car only to get riled up again seeing the car tyre punctured.

'Dammit!' He muttered hitting his foot on the tyre. Gazing at his watch, he realised that he had just 45 minutes. He didn't have the time to change it. He needed to reach on time at any cost.

He rubbed his temples inhaling sharply. He needed to relax his mind first. He very well knew his worked up mind wouldn't be of any help.

He was standing when an auto stopped in front of him. He looked confused as the backside of the hospital was kind of an isolated place then how come this auto was here. But he shrugged his thoughts away. He had to reach his jaana as soon as possible. He glanced at the strange looking driver, who had his face covered while his eyes were completely red, before sitting in and they drove off to the court. The driver smirked messaging someone.

Shivaay rubbed his palms looking around in tension. He hoped his Annika was fine. He knew she would be worried without him.

They travelled for almost twenty-five minutes when Shivaay noticed that the driver took a wrong turn.

'Hey! You took the wrong turn. We had to go left....' He spoke trying to maintain his calm.

'Saab! This is the shortcut.' Came a reply to which shivaay frowned. He didn't have time for this nonsense. He wasn't new in Mumbai to not know the ways. He again looked at his watch, 10:45. Only fifteen minutes. He pinched the bridge of his nose.

'Listen! Stop the auto.' He ordered sternly but the driver didn't budge. Instead, he increased the speed.

'I said stop.' Shivaay again spoke angrily. His life was already messed up and this unknown man was adding more frustration.

After five minutes, the auto stopped. Shivaay stepped down giving the money to the driver and turned to run but stopped seeing some local goons surrounding him. He looked at the so called driver who stood against him uncovering his face. They had weapons with them. So this all was a bloody plan. He squeezed his eyes in order to cool down his anger.

'Listen! I'll pay you double the money that moron gave you. Just let me go for now.' He tried to manipulate them. They exchanged glances with each other thoughtfully. Shivaay thought they agreed. He smirked but his smirk died soon as they started laughing. He huffed exasperated.

He tried to run but one of them caught him punching on his face. They started beating him. He tried to fight back but they were five in count. Moreover, his whole focus was on reaching the court soonish.

He punched them back again trying to run away but whimpered in pain as the goon swayed the sword across his back. He fell on the ground not being able to bear the pain. They opened his shoes followed by socks to scratch his soles with the knives so that he couldn't run. He screamed in pain as they did it. They laughed seeing him whimpering. He breathed heavily. One of them tried to hurt him with the sword right across his heart but he held it with his hand tightly. His hand started bleeding but he fought back. He got up with difficulty beating them. It was as if he got a sudden unknown strength to fight back.

Soon the goons laid on the ground crying in pain. He wiped the blood coming from his mouth. His watch showed 11:05. The hearing must have started.

'Shitttt!' He muttered running only to stumble again. He composed himself taking deep breaths. He had to do it. It wasn't the time to fall weak. His back, his feet, his hand and forehead bleed. The scorching sun did no help. Though his wounds hurt terribly but his love for his jaana gave him enough motivation to not succumb to his pain.

'Jaana!' He whispered keeping his hand on his heart........

Annika stood in the witness box looking at the door time and again. Her heart beat frantically as if she had run a marathon. Her palms sweaty. Her tears threatened to fall. Shivaay was no where to be seen and she didn't know what to do.

'Dr. Annika, do you have anything to say in your defence?' The judge asked calmly.

She fidget-ed her fingers looking down. She so wanted to scream that it was all false. She wanted to shout that she wasn't weak like this. She wanted to shout that she hadn't done anything. But she also knew that no one would believe her. The law demanded proofs and she hadn't had any. She couldn't help feeling helpless.

Annika didn't say anything. The lawyer smirked requesting the judge to give his final statement that was to cancel her licence. She clutched the box tightly biting her lower lip trying to control the quivering. This was the thing she hadn't even thought in her worst nightmares. She felt as if her life was slipping away. She latched her palm to her mouth to subside her sobs.

'Seeing all the evidences, it is clear that Dr. Annika is the one who tampered the medicines. The court declares her guilty with the punishment of cancelling her lic.......'

      'STOPPPPPPPPPPPPPP.'

Everyone shivered hearing the sudden shout as everyone's heads turned to the door. There stood the man panting heavily catching his breath. His clothes covered with his blood. Everyone in the court shuddered seeing his dishevelled state. Sweat rolled down his cheeks mixed with blood. They could see how much pain he was in but his eyes twinkled as a small relieved smile threatened to form on his lips.

Annika's heart skipped a beat seeing his condition. Her eyes widened looking at so much blood. She rushed to him instantly followed by his and her family.

'Shiv! Ye...yeh...k...kya....yo...' she failed to form a proper sentence. She started crying. He was in so much pain. What more worst was left in her life to see? He looked at her.

'Annie, i'm fine. Just go and stand in the box.' He said slowly to which she shook her head.

'Are you mad? Kitni chot lagi hai. Kitna khoon hai. Aur tum hospital jaane ke bjaye yahan aa gye...' she cried more wiping his face with her dupatta.

'Jaana, i said na i'm fine. Just go. We have to fight the case....'

'Bhaad mein jaye tumhara case. Mere liye tum important ho. Just go and get your wounds dressed.' She ordered or pleaded, only she knew.

'Yaar tumhe samjh mein nhi ata. Maine kha na main theek hoon.' He was getting angry now. He literally died while reaching here and this girl was asking him to go back. Mad woman!

'Shiv, please! Mera dil nhi maan rha. Please, dekho na kitna khoon nikal rha hai.' She shuddered looking at the blood.

'Annika!' His stern voice made her flinch. His one hard glare and she knew he was damn serious now. There wasn't any use to argue. He would do what he wanted. She stepped back and stood in the box again. Others too sat at their places.

Asking the permission from the judge, he was about to speak when the other lawyer spoke interrupting him.

'Wait a minute, Mr. Oberoi. Before you proceed, i would like to ask a question to Dr. Annika.'

Shivaay nodded staring at him with a blank expression.

'Dr. Annika, as much as i know, you guys had a major fight and you both aren't doing well in your relationship. Then how come your so called husband is here, fighting for you?'

Annika gazed at Shivaay with at hurtful expression while he clenched his jaw fisting his hands.

'Mr. Mehra, aap kitni baar apni wife ko i love you bolte hain?' Shivaay asked maintaining his calm.

     'What?' The lawyer asked confused.

'Maine pucha aap kitni baar apni wife ko i love you bolte hain?' Shivaay repeated casually.

'Mr. Oberoi, aap personal sawaal nhi puch sakte...'

'Toh phir aap bhi meri wife se personal sawaal nhi puch sakte.' Shivaay gave a hard glare shutting up the main in front.

Silence ensued for few minutes before Shivaay started with his proofs. He felt it extremely hard to stand up but he didn't have any other option.

'Your honour, i would like to call the shop owner, Mr. Kundra in the witness box.'

     'Permission granted.'

The man came and stood in the box. His hands were shivering as if he was afraid of something.

'Mr. Kundra, could you please tell me again what you did after closing your shop five days back?' Asked Shivaay calmly.

'I closed my shop at 9 and went to a nearby pub to enjoy with my friends.'

'If i'm not wrong, yesterday, you said that you closed your shop at 8 and you went back home. Aap statements badal rahe hain Mr. Kundra.' Shivaay smirked as the man in front gulped.

'Yes! Yes! I went to my home.'

'But just now you said you went to a pub.'

'Yeah, first i went to pub at 10 and then home.'

'Aapne phir statement badal di, pehle aapne 8 kha phir 9 aur abhi 10.'

The man fumbled trying to say something but couldn't.

'Okay! Let it be. You just tell me did Dr. Annika come to your shop that day?'

      'No, she didn't.'

'He's lying, Shivaay.' Annika spoke frantically. Shivaay blinked his eyes assuring her.

'Dr. Annika, what all did you buy from his shop?'

'Some cheese and milk.' She replied.

'Arey madam cereals bhi toh liye the.' The shop owner blurted out in haste making shivaay smirk.

'Arey wahh! Abhi toh aapne kha ke woh aapki shop pe ayi hi nhi aur abhi unhone cereals bhi khareed liye.'

The man looked here and there.

'Your honour, here is the CCTV footage of his neighbour shop of that day which he tried to hide but couldn't.' Shivaay spoke reminiscing how that man tried to not let shivaay see the footage. It was clear in the footage that Annika was entering his shop at the time the medicines were tampered.

'Milord, i would like to call Dr. Roy and Miss. Kapoor to come in the box.'

They came and stood in the box. Shivaay played the footage of the hospital again and paused at a certain second zooming it.

'Miss. Kapoor, could you show your tattoo please?'

The lady shifted uncomfortably but had no other option than showing.

'Your honour, you can see the same tattoo on the wrist of that lady in the footage. Her face isn't visible but the tattoo is exactly the same.'

     The lady started shivering.

'No! No! It's not me. It's not me.' She chanted.

'Did i say it's you Miss Kapoor?' Shivaay asked smiling sheepishly.

     'Where were you that day?'

'I was at the pub "Star night."

'If i'm not wrong, that pub is closed since a year now.' A mocking smile played on his lips. The lady didn't say anything.

Shivaay pocketed out something and gave it to the judge. It was a cufflink.

'Dr. Roy, isn't your cufflink missing?' Shivaay asked Roy who instantly looked to see it actually missing.

      'No! It's not mine.'

'Kya maine kha ke yeh aapka hai?'

Shivaay couldn't believe the ones who plotted so much were acting so dumb.

'Your honour, i think there is a silver stone in it.' Shivaay said trying to look at the cufflink carefully.

'No, it's diamond.' Came Dr. Roy's voice.

      'Wow! Rare diamond haan.'

It was as if the man lost the ability to speak.

'Okay! One last question, why did you do it?'

     'We haven't done anything.'

'Hmmm! Interesting! Who was with you that day?'

     'It was Annika.'

'But just now you said you haven't done anything....'

Could these peeps be any more dumb? Shivaay chuckled inwardly.

      'No...no...i...i mean i......'

     'Speak clearly Dr. Roy.'

Roy wiped the sweat off his forehead. He fell in his own trap. He knew now there was no use denying now.

'I think you mean to say your girlfriend, Miss Kapoor planned all this, no?' Shivaay asked thoughtfully knowing very well how much this man loved his girlfriend. But before he could speak, shivaay again interrupted him.

'Kya yaar! Ek ladki se aisa kaam krwate ho. Be a man, dude! Such a LOSER.' Shivaay spoke with a fake pitied expression.

      'Shut the hell up, Oberoi!'

'Arey ab sach toh sach hai. Loser ho toh ho. Himmat hai toh maan ke dikhao ke tumne kiya sab.' Shivaay triggered the right chord.

      He didn't say anything.

'See, himmat hi nhi hai. Agar hoti toh kab ke maan jaate. Such a failure, man.'

'Haan haan haan! I did all this. I did this to avenge annika. I and Samaya planned all this.'

And he went onto explaining how he did this. He and annika worked together but he always felt jealous of her because she was the one to grab all the credits for the success of their hospital. Now when she opened her own hospital, he couldn't digest it. He wanted to destroy her and he with his girlfriend made a full proof plan. That day, when Annika left the hospital premises, exactly after five minutes, Samaya kapoor entered the hospital wearing Annika's clothes so as to not get caught. They were the ones who informed the police with a confidential number.

'That's all your honour. I think all these evidences are enough to prove who's the guilty one here.'

The judge nodded thoughtfully. Shivaay looked at Annika who was admiring him with a small smile. He smiled back winking at her.

Seeing all the proofs, the judge declared Dr. Roy and Miss Kapoor guilty with a punishment of 20 years of imprisonment and 50,000 as a fine. Along with that, he cancelled the licence of Dr. Roy. Even the shop owner was given his share of punishment. Annika was released from all the allegations and was allowed to open her hospital again.

Their happiness knew no bounds. Annika gazed at him happily. He smiled seeing her charming smile back on her face.

'Mr. Oberoi! May i know how come you are this much injured?' The judge asked to which Shivaay shrugged.

      'I had an accident, Sir!'

'But we hired goons to attack you.' Samaya spoke making Shivaay giggle. But this time he wasn't surprised at their foolishness. They were so easy to be trapped just in his talks. He deliberately told that he had an accident to make them spill the beans......

Police took them away while Shivaay sat on the chair not being able to stand anymore. Annika was quick to reach him. He smiled widely looking at her while she was busy scanning his wounds. He gulped fearing that he would be getting his share of punishment from this jhansi ki raani as she was glaring him. He passed a shivery smile to her before losing his consciousness........

Pardon me for the "bakwaas" fighting sequence. I'm not good at it😁

And i don't know much about law. So if there's any mistake, kindly ignore it. And i know no one can stand for this long after being injured but fiction hai yaar, chalta hai✋😋😋

Precap:

      Annika pampering shivaay 😁

'Shivaay please come to the hospital soon.' She cried over the phone while he was quick enough to rush to his car throwing his phone away..........
