Hey guys, and gals, here is part 6. Last time we had Kazuto confess his past along with Yuuki kissing him on the cheek. He also hosted a party with his parents. We read as he watched Asuna spar with Liz and Sugu and had Yuuki fall asleep at his house. He then shortly took her home only to be caught by Aiko and Yulier on his way out. So who are these new members? How do they know Kazuto? How did Kazuto even join Yami No Sekai? Find out on Chapter 6 of missing beat! See you at the bottom!

I woke up to see that I wasn't in my room. I look around and see Yuuki staring at me. Ah so I'm in Yuuki's room, I thought. "Morning Kazuto! How'd you sleep last night?" She asked. "I slept fine. What about you? How'd you sleep?" I asked her. "Oh I slept great!" She answered. I wonder what has her so excited today?

I get up from the futon, and packing it up and taking it to the closet, and walk to the door. "Where are you going?" Yuuki asks me. "Well I need to get back home and start thinking about our next move." I replied. "Well aren't you going to eat first?" She asked. "Well I was thinking about eating at the house." "Why don't you eat here so you won't walk home on an empty stomach." She said. Man she really doesn't want me to leave does she?

"Ok I guess that won't be too bad." I say. "Yay!" She squealed. Something is bothering me about her behavior today. I open her door and start to walk towards Aiko's door and knock on it softly, but loud enough for her to hear it. "Come in!" I hear her say, letting me know that she was awake.

I open the door and see her in her pajamas. They were yellow and had little bunny printings on 'em. I looked at her hair and see it all ruffled up, letting me know that she just woke up. She also had a drool line on the side of her face.

"Well good morning Kaz!" She said enveloping me in a bone crushing hug. "Can't...breathe!" I gasped as I thought I saw a light for a moment. She quickly loosened her hug enough for me to breathe.

"Good mornig to you too Aki!" I said, giving her a new nickname. "Aki? Who's Aki?" She asked releasing me from the hug and walking over to her mirror to brush her hair. "That's your new nickname. I just came up with it and I thought you would like it." I told her, hoping that she would like it. "I actually think it sounds nice!" She replied. Thank for because i didn't have time to think of a better one.

I notice that she is having trouble doing her hair. I asked, "Would you like me to help you with that?" She looked over at me with a face said, 'Please?' She nodded and walk behind her. I was doing her hair into a messy bun, but one that I thought would look cute.

Once I was finished, I handed her a mirror so she could see for herself. "How are you so good at doing people's hair, Kaz?" She asked with a shocked look on her face. "I have a younger sister and she begs me to do her hair, and plus, I used to do yours a while back when you asked me to." I simply answered.

She gave me another hug and I returned it with one arm. "Thank you for always being there for me before I lost my memory and now, and thank you for bringing my sister back as well." She said. "No prob, and I would've done it anyways so yeah." I replied. She started laughing, hysterically that is. In all honesty, it was a little cute. "Well I'm here now, and I promise that I will continue visiting. I'm not going to leave you all alone with you, your parents, and your lil' sis." I told her.

"Hey Kazuto?" She starts to ask. "Yes Aki?" "Do you think that you can tell me what happened to the band now and how I lost my memory?" She asked in a little bit of a sad tone. "I'll tell you and your parents about it at breakfast." I answered her question in a reassuring tone of voice. "Okay."

"I'm sorry that you can't go outside Aki. I heard about it and I felt bad knowing you can't go to one of our concerts." I tell her. "Well it's not going to be permanent, as it's getting better as days go by. Maybe you can have someone record your next concert for me and then you can send it to me." She suggested, "You know until I get better at least."

I felt a little bit of excitement knowing that her hearing is getting better a little bit, and that she came up with a good suggestion for how she can see our next concert. "Okay, I will. I'll ask one of my friends Sachi if she can record the next one. I'll also be sure to make you a CD of our upcoming album." I reply. "Well let's go downstairs to eat. I'm sure that the foods already done cooking." I say as my stomach started to grumble. "Geez, when was the last time you've eaten?" She asked on the verge of laughing. "Last night, but I guess I have a big appetite." I laugh with her. After a minute of nonstop laughing, we start to calm down. "Alright, now that that's over, let's go." I tell her. She nods and I open the door.

"So how was the party. I can tell that Yuuki had fun because she was passed out when you got here." She said. "Actually, she was asleep almost the entire time. She said she didn't have enough time to take a nap." I tell her what Yuuki told me. "Well when she got back, she did look like she was in a hurry." She says to me.

I was about to say something until I smelt food coming from the kitchen. "Whatever your mom is making, it sure does smell good." I said. She started to laugh and I join along side her.

After we stopped laughing, we sat at the dining table. Once Yulier brought out our breakfast, an American styled one; eggs biscuits and gravy, Aki nudged my arm telling me to tell her and her mom about what happened to the band. I never told anyone, but Aiko was the one who introduced me to their band. "Where do I start? Ah. I'll start where you introduced me to your band."

I was in the stadium, while no one else was there. I had my Gibson Les Paul in my hand and was playing one of my favorite songs called Merry Go Round by Tsuioko.

I sang as I played.

I continued playing the entire song.

Once I was finished, I heard the sound of someone clapping. I turn around and saw a girl with a perfect figure and with sky-blue hair. "That was some good singing and guitar playing. Where'd you learn that?" The girl asked me.

I didn't know it but I had a cold look on my face for some reason. "I learned from my mom and dad. Why do you ask?" I answered. "Oh really. Are they musicians?" She asked me.

I nodded and said, "They were real popular before I was born." "You know, with your voice and skills, I'd think you are in a band." She said to me. I shook my head in response. "I play solo. I haven't joined any bands at school because I don't want them all knowing that I play music." I tell her. "You should join our band. No one will know that you play because we are all sophomores in High School. You look like you are just ending off the year in middle school." She said. Well that part she wasn't wrong.

"Well I better be heading off now." I said as I packed my guitar back in its case. I started walking off of the field to the exit until she calls out to me. "And where do you think you're going?" She asked. "Back to my house." I answer.

"And how far is it and do you even have a ride?" She replied. "Ten miles away and no I don't." I tell her. "Well before you leave, what's your name kid?" She asked. "Kirigaya, Kirigaya Kazuto. What's yours?" "Konno Aiko." She answered.

"Konno Aiko. Are you by any chance related to Konno Yuuki?" I asked. She nodded. "She's my little sister." "She's in my class. She talks a lot about you." I reply. "Well c'ya!" I said walking away from the field. I feel someone grab my arm and before I knew it, I was being hauled over to the other side of the stadium. "I have some people I want you to meet." She said dragging me over the parking lot. I rolled my eyes and followed her.

She took me to a group of three guys. "Yo! Aiko what took so long!" One guy with brunette hair said. "Yeah and did you find out who was singing?" One with blonde hair said. "And who played that guitar?" Another with dirty blonde hair asked.

"Well I had to convince him to come here. Come out and introduce yourself kid." She gestured for me to come out. I walked over there with a cold look in my eyes. "Woah kid, what's with that look in you eyes?" The brunette asked.

"Yeah did somethin happen?" The blonde asked next. "Nothing is wrong." I said harshly, "Look, can I go home now? I'm not interested in joining a band yet." I said. "Kid calm down. What's your name?" The dirty blonde asked.

"The name's Kirigaya, Kirigaya Kazuto." I said. All of their eyes changed from calm to shock. "Are your parents Gantai and Midori Kirigaya?" The brunette asked. I nodded my head while looking at them in confusion.

"Dude I used to listen to your parents music all the time when I was younger. Then I heard that they quit their career to raise their children in piece. But I never thought that I would meet their son!" He replied.

"Well it ain't fair if I have to introduce myself and you guys not." I said. "The guys right. My names Sekai Eugeo." The brunette known as Eugeo said. "I'm Fernandez Kodashi." The blonde followed. "Guess that leaves me. I'm Zenai Arlis. And you've already met Aiko. Together we are Yami No Sekai." The dirty blonde exclaimed.

"Well nice talking to you guys, but I got to go." I said walking away from the band. I was grabbed by the shirt collar and was dragged back to the group. "I don't want you leaving on your own. Why don't you get to know these guys more and try to have fun? If you stay, we'll give you a ride home deal?" Aiko asked. I realized that I wasn't getting anywhere and wasn't going to win and accepted the offer.

After an hour of getting to know each other, I had a great time with these guys. The more I got to know about them, the more I realized that they weren't so bad. "Yo kid, what do you say about joining the band now?" Eugeo asked me.

"Honestly, you guys really are a bunch of bozos." I said. "WHAT?!?!" They all shouted back. "But, that is what makes you so great. You guys are like a family, and I want to be a part of that. So, I'll join." I said, giving off my signature grin. "YEAH! WELCOME TO THE BAND KAZUTO!" They shouted again.

After I finish telling them how Aiko was the one who introduced me, and how she lost her memory, I finished my food and went to the sink to wash it off. I look at the clock and see that I've been here till 10 am.

"Well thanks for having me over again, but I best be going now." I said. I walked to the door with my shoes over my shoulder. I was about to open it until someone grabbing my arm. "Kazuto, let me walk you to your house." She said.

"Okay. But how will you get home?" I asked. "I'll walk back." She said. "No Yuuki, stay here with your mom and sister." I told her. "No. I'll walk you back and I'll call a cab for me to get back." She replied. "No. Here you can come with me. I'll drive you back home in my truck." I said. I can't believe I almost forgot about it. "Okay!" She said. And with that, we started to walk back to my house.

As we were walking, Yuuki decided to ask me something. "Hey Kazuto?" She started. "Yes?" "Do you... like anyone?" She continued. "No. I made a promise with Sachi that I will never fall in love. And besides, it brings nothing but trouble." I half-lied. I lied about me liking anyone, but not for the promise. To be honest, I liked her sister, and even her a little bit. I look back over at her and she looked a bit down.

"Why? Do you like anyone?" I repeated her question. She looked a bit shocked and her face went scarlet red. "W-W-What do you mean you idiot?! I mean I do but even if I told you, it wouldn't matter to you." She said. I shook my head and pulled her into a hug.

She stiffened at first, then melted into the hug while returning it back. "Don't speak like that Yuu. If you tell me, I promise I won't tell the other girls." I told her. She took a deep and and sighed. "The truth is Kaz, the person I like, is the one who is holding me right now." She said. My eyes widened at first, due to shock. I then released her from the hug. "So that's what was making you act all weird around me." I said. She giggled and said, "Yeah, I guess so." I start to laugh with her and we continue the walk to my place.

I got up and went in to the house to grab my keys and walked back out towards the truck. I opened the door to let Yuuki in and walked over to the drivers side. "Well let's go." She said. Nodding, I put the keys in ignition and start the truck.

As we were driving, I decided to roll the windows down and Yuuki's hair blew with the wind. It only took three minutes to get there, when it would've taken half an hour just to walk there. I turn off the truck and get myself out with Yuuki doing the same.

I open her door letting ourselves back in. She walks. As soon as I close the door and catch up to Yuuki, we were embraced into a bone-crushing hug.

"Can't,""Breathe!" We say in unison. "I'm sorry!" The girl says releasing us. "I just saw my life flash before my eyes." Said Yuuki. "Yeah me too. Hey Aiko, do you think you can loosen your hug a little bit?" I asked. "Don't worry, I won't kill ya!"

My face went from normal to complete shock. "Wow, and I originally thought I was the one with the shady memory. But apparently not!" She pouts and looks at me. I said, "You guys want anything while I'm gone?" I asked the Konno's.

"No I'm good." Yulier said. "Maybe some sushi." The girls said. "Okay well bye guys. See you in about three hours." I replied, while walking out with Lucy behind me. "Bye!" "See you soon!" The girls told me. I opened the door to my truck and let Lucy jump in then I entered while starting the truck.

After I dropped the food for Aiko and Yuuki, I started driving the truck back to my place. I looked at the clock and noticed that it was about two in the afternoon. I'm so getting chewed out once I get there.

I pulled in the driveway and was getting my things when Sachi came over with a mad look on her face. "Where were you?!" She asked/yelled. "I was at Yuuki's and the store." I reply. "Did you not take your phone, cause I called you like a thousand times and you never picked up." She said.

I shook my head while saying, "Nope. I left it here thinking that I was coming back but I thought wrong." "Well at least you're okay." She said while helping me with the food. "Yeah. Hey, wanna hang out tomorrow? You know, like how we used to?" I asked her. "Sure. I would like to." She replied.

We finally finished putting all of Lucy's things in the house. "Thanks for the help Sachi, I really appreciate it." I thanked her. "No problem Kazuto. It was my pleasure." She said. "Alright well see you tomorrow." I said. "Bye! And don't forget it!" She yelled. As soon as I close the door, I got punched in the face by a little girl. What's with these girls trying to kill me?

"Where were you?!" The girl known as my sister, Suguha, asked/yelled at me. "Calm down. I was over at Yuuki's place." I said while grabbing her flying fist, while rubbing my cheek with my other hand.

"Well take your phone next time. Mom and Dad called you so many times that I couldn't keep track of." She said. I nodded my head and then got slapped on the back.

"Glad to see that you're back kiddo!" My father said to me. "Yeah. We were seriously starting to get worried!" My mother followed. "Sorry. I had to stay at Yuuki's and Aiko's because when I dropped off Yuuki, it was already half past twelve and by the time I got back, it would've been 1:30 in the morning." I explained to them.

They nodded there heads, telling me they understood, (Just think how Natsu and Erza nods whenever Lucy is explaining something.) "I'm surprised that you had that much money in your wallet!" Dad says to me. You know, it's times like this when I wonder what the others are doing.

At Asuna's place
"Mom! I'm going over to Liz's house!" Asuna told her mother. "Be back tomorrow at three pm, got it?" She said to her. (I'm making her mother a nice person in this story because I don't feel like making a lot of other lines just for them to argue or something, also because I'm lazy.)

At Lizbeth's place
"Mom! The band and Sachi are coming over!" Liz yelled. "Okay!" Another feminine voice yelled across the house.

At Shino's
"I'm going to head out. Bye mom!" Shino said to her. "Bye!" She yelled. (I'll have Shino live with her mom since in this story, I think; remember, this story didn't belong to me at first; she never killed anybody)

At Argo's
"I'm going to go to the practice hut for a little bit. Bye dad!" Argo said to her father as she kissed his cheek. "Bye sweety!" He replied.

At Yuuki's
"I'm so bored!" Yuuki said. "Why don't you go to Liz's?" Yulier suggested. "Okay! Thanks mom, bye!" She yelled to both Aiko and Yulier.

Back with Kazuto
Oh well. Whatever they're doing, it's probably better than what I'm doing. "Yeah well, going to a lot of concerts and having Argo sell a bunch of merchandise can pay off." I explained to him. "Well I'm going to my room and take a nap."

I opened the door to my room and saw my phone with a bunch of messages from a bunch of people.

"Let's see. Ten missed calls from Sachi, twenty missed calls from mom and dad, four messages from Asuna, three from Argo, two from Liz, one from Shino, and fifteen calls and texts from Yuuki? Ugh!" I flopped on the bed with a grunt.

Well, might as well answer all of them, I thought. I answered all of them except for Asuna's. I read her text aloud, "Hey, Kazuto. Want to come join Liz and us? I got a new idea for a song and I need your help. Also I found two people who wanted to join the band and I told them that we would leave you to decide."

I reply to her text with, "Sure, why not. I don't have anything better to do. Just let me take a shower first, I haven't been home all day. Also, tell them that I'll be the in about an hour." "Okay. Hey grab Sachi and Argo on your way over." She texted back.

After I'm done with the shower, I put on my black hoodie and jeans and walked out of my room. "Where are you going now." Mom asked me. "I'm going over to Liz's. I'll be back later!" I told her. "Alright well don't forget your phone is time!" She reminded me. I showed her the phone and walked out of the house.

I walk over to Sachi's place and knock on her door. She opens the door, not long long after I knocked, and gave me a smile. "Hey Kazuto. What's up?" She asked. "Asuna told me to get you and Argo. She said she has an idea for a new song." I tell her. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" She said walking outside and locking her door.

"Wait, how will we get there?" She asks me. "I'll drive us there. Don't worry, I was driving earlier and you saw me come home with the truck perfectly fine." I reassure her. She nods her head, still looking up unsure, and follows me to the truck. "Let me text Argo to let her know that we're picking her up then we'll head off." I told her. She nods her head.

To Argo,
Asuna wants us to go over to Liz's and she wanted me to pick you and Sachi up. I have Saxhi with me already and we're heading over now.

She texts back almost immediately.

Okay! I'll be waiting!

I turn back to Sachi and tell her that we're heading off now. "Also, before we go, if you're thirsty I've got some water bottles in a container in the trunk. Want one?" I asked. "Yes please, I'm very thirsty." She pleaded. I nodded and got out of the truck to get her one. Once I came back, with the waters in hand, we left the neighborhood towards Argo's large mansion.

As we were driving, Sachi turned the radio on and the first thing we hear is the single, Colors of the Heart. "You know, if the public knows that you guys are the ones who made this song then it will go gold within a day, right?" Sachi told me.

Now that I thought about it, the public really did like Infinity Moment, so yeah, the song would be gold within a day. "I think we will let the public decide on that." I said to her.

I looked at the gas tank and noticed that it was running on fumes. "Let's make a quick stop at the gas station. The gauge says its on empty so we need to fill it up. Need anything while we are here?" I asked her. "No, I'm good." She answers. Thank god. I'm almost as broke as it is because of Aiko and Yuuki wanting food. After filling the tank, we start to head back to Argo's.

The drive only took ten minutes, excluding the stop for gas, but we finally made it. I press the button on the intercom to have access to the house. "Kayaba residence! Who is it?" A girls voice says on the other end of the intercom.

"Argo, it's me and Sachi. Would you be so kind to let us in?" I said in a little accent. "Let me think about tha- oh what the hell. Come on in man!" She replied as the gate starts to open.

We make our way to the house and park right outside. "And who does this big thing belong to? And why does it look like the same one that was at your house Kazuto?" Argo asked as we were getting out. "It's actually his, believe it or not. I'm surprised that he didn't crash into anything while we were driving." Sachi joked. "Haha, very funny Sachi." I replied sarcastically. Argo just started to laugh her head off like there was no tomorrow. I then gave them my death glare. They stopped laughing immediately. Why does that work every time? I asked myself.

"Are you ready to go Argo?" I ask her. She nods and runs back in to say bye to her dad. "Well what're we waiting for? Let's go now!" Argo yelled at me. We walk over to the truck and get inside.

As I was about to pull out of their driveway, I get a text from Asuna saying to get some food on our way over. I text back saying that I'm almost broke from getting gas, food for Yuuki, and supplies for Lucy. "Who you texting, Kazuto?" Argo curiously asked me.

"Asuna wanted me together food on the way. But I can't because I'm broke enough as it is just getting Yuuki and Aiko food and supplies for Lucy." I tell them, "And no. I won't borrow money from you." I tell Argo before she could even say anything. I put my phone down and start to make my way over Lizbeth's.

Another ten minutes and I'm already at her house. We get out of the truck and knock on her door. "Coming!" Someone says on the other side of the door. They open the door, and that person was none other than Lizbeth Shinozaki.

"Finally. It's about time you show up. They're all upstairs in my room." She informed us. I told her thanks and went up to her room with Sachi and Argo by my side.

I open her door and see everyone there. "So who are these new members and where are they?" I asked as I walked in. "Oh, Kazuto. This one is Strea." She introduced her as she walked in while running over to me yelling, "Kazuto!!" She was about to jump on me but I side step out of the way, which sent her flying into the wall. "Okay... And the other?" I asked. They just looked at me with a confused expression.

Asuna looks back down as if she were hiding something. "He didn't tell us who he was. He said that he wanted to see if you remembered him." She said as the other person walked out.

It was a boy with Brunette hair, dressed in jeans and a grey sweater. "Long time, no see kid." He said. That voice. I knew who it belonged and walked over to him and punched him straight in the face out of anger.

That person, was Eugeo Sekai. My punch had him tumbling around and sent him falling on a knee. "What the hell are you doing here?!" I shouted at him. I looked around the room and everyone was staring at me with a shocked look on their faces.

"Do you guys not know who this is?! This is the guy that tore my old band apart!" I informed them. I looked over at Yuuki and continued, "The guy who made your sister lose her memory." I said while holding in my tears.

"Kid, I know you hate me for what I did, and I completely understand that. What I did to all of you was uncalled for, and for what I did to Aiko, I could never forgive myself for. So I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry." He said while looking down.

"Sorry isn't going to cut it." I said, my voice sounding cold and sharp, "But tell me. Why did you do it?!" I shouted at him, yearning for an answer. "I didn't even mean to start all of that. But I couldn't control myself. I said things I never would say. It was almost as if my body was moving on its own." He said, his voice cracking into cries.

I felt a little bad for him because I now knew why he acted the way he did. But still, I couldn't fully forgive him until he apologizes to them. To Aiko, Kodashi, Arrekusu, and even Yuuki.

"Well, let me tell you one thing. If you are going to be part of this band, there is a few things you must do first." I told him. "You must first, apologize to all of them. To Aiko, Yuuki, Kodashi, and Arlis." I looked at him and he was looking at me.

His eyes were pleading for forgiveness, while my eyes were stone cold. "Then, and only then, will I forgive you and let you in." "Thanks kid. Thank you for giving me another chance. But I don't know where I can find them. Could you help me?" He asked. "You can start by apologizing to the girl with lavender hair right over there." I told him.

I helped him up and he walked over to Yuuki. "You must be Yuuki. I'm sorry for what I did to your sister. You know, you look just like her except with purple hair." He told her. She blushed at his comment. "Thanks." She said quietly but loud enough for me to hear.

I turn to Asuna and ask, "So, what's this idea you got for the song?" She pulls out some music sheets and passes everyone their part, including Eugeo and Strea.

She hands me the master sheet and wants me to read over it. As I look, I see that she will do almost all the singing, Yuuki and I will be sharing a guitar duet, Shino has a solo with the bass, and Liz is playing her drums the entire time.

"Looks good. Wait, Strea, what instrument do you play and how good are you?" I ask. She said that she plays the guitar and the keyboard. I nod and hear Asuna ask, "How come you aren't asking him what he plays?"

I shook my head and do a face palm. "I've already told what he plays and how good he is, but incase you've forgotten," I said while poked her head, "He plays the bass and He plays just as good as Shino over there."

They all nods their heads. "So, what's the song going to be called?" I ask her. "The song is Sorairodeisu." She answers. "I like it." I reply. "Alright, well if that's all, I need to take Eugeo here to go see the old bandmates." I said, while punching him pretty hard in the gut, which knocked him out.

I carried him over my shoulder and looked back at every one. They all had a shocked look on their face. "What? Oh yeah. It's just easier to carry him to the truck this way." I told them

I walked out of the Shinozaki's residence with Argo, Sachi, and Yuuki tailing behind me. We said our goodbyes and got in the truck, with the passed out Eugeo in the passenger and the three girls in the back.

After I dropped off Argo and Sachi at their rightful places, I take Yuuki and Eugeo over to the Konno residence. "Damn. For someone who is two years younger than me, you sure can pack a punch and know the right places and force to knock someone out." Eugeo says while waking up.

"Yep. I actually learned it from you. You were teaching me how to fight if there was ever a situation where I need to." I reminded him. "Hehe. Yeah. I remember. So who are we seeing first?" He asked. "We are seeing Aiko first. But if she doesn't remember you, then don't take it personal. But if she does, then I wish all the luck you are probably going to need." I told him while we were all laughing at my words.

We finally make it to the house and Yuuki unlocks the door for us. "You ready old timer?" I ask him. "As ready as I'll ever be." He replied. We both look at the door and think the exact same thing. Let's just hope for the best.

Ah finally done. Sorry for slow updates but my mind was running dry of for what to write. If you are reading this again I really appreciate it. I showed this to a friend of mine at school because they were looking over my shoulder and kept asking what I was doing. So when I told him he said that I should have someone publish this into an actual book or apply this story for a Watty award. New: Alright. So obviously I've put this book on hold for too long. I want to get back to it like I said I would, but I'm having problems of my own to deal with.

Yes I realize that no one likes this story anymore and some are probably still surprised that it exists. But, I will get back to it. I'm just re-editing some chapters for now before I post the next update.
