Dream's P.O.V
I felt my soul sink when (Y/n) ran off, as soon as they were awake. I looked up at my brother and stared, waiting for him to go after them. But to my surprise he gestured his hands for me to go after them. When I was completely standing up, I let my feet lead me to where my crush was. Hidden by bushes. Not one of the best hiding places, but it could still work.

As I approached them, they seemed to confused to tell who I was. Sadness crushed me, as I stepped away. "Come back please," Was all I heard in a whisper. My own whisper. Hah, I really am desperate for love. Giving them a smile, I walked away. My feet trekked softly, as dry leaves crunched. Though from behind me I could hear louder crunching. "Dream wait please," They cry.

I could hear the intense pain in their voice, but somehow it felt non-existent. Almost completely fake and made-up. Halting abruptly, my arms slithered behind my back. Tears rimmed the edges of my eyes as I turned around. There (Y/n) amazing and breath-taking stood, holding out their hands for me. "Here let's go away from the pain," I whisper and lead back down to the others.

We both sat back down on the log, holding hands and blushing. Many of the other skeletons stared intrigued by what would happen. Nightmare was the most fascinated. Resting my head on their shoulder I stared them in the eyes. "Hey (Y/n)?" I call out, softly.

"Mmm?" They reply.

"I have something to ask you,"

"Go on Dream,"

"Wo-would you like to go out with me?"

I winced at the thought of being rejected and faced in the opposite direction of my crush. My hands shook as my breath shallowed. All my anxiety and fears were washed away in a mere moment. "Of course, you're the best one here. Nobody could say no to you, even if they wanted to," It made my heart stop and fall back into place.

"Thank you,"

"You're welcome,"
