A/N: This is the beginning of the second arc of this story: Europe, and Israel, a culturally European country.

Hope you enjoy.

August 16th, 2024.

London.

Their flight from Buenos Aires with British Airways Boeing 777-300ER from Buenos Aires has gone uneventful.

In fact, not only uneventful in negative terms, their first transatlantic crossing as a married couple is probably one of their best.

"Finally London is much cleaner than when we first visited it" said Kousei to Kaori as they strolled around the city with their guards, guns ready, after their first rehearsal in Royal Albert Hall.

Kousei then heard a passerby told his friend beside him walking in opposite with the Japanese, out loud. "Thank God we vote exit and moreover, we finally get rid of Khan". Sadiq Khan's administration as Lord Mayor of London was considered as disastrous, even by significant number of his own Labour Party cadres and voters, with spike of violent crime such as robberies, knife and acid attacks, along with increase of gang-related crimes primarily Pakistani grooming gangs, euphemistically called Asians, and terrorism-related cases. In fact, one of his statements only serve to rub salt into the wound; that terror attacks are part and parcel of a big city.

Being once Tokyoites, living in the one of the largest metropolitan areas in Asia and the world with no significant terror case since 1995, they know that the statement was not helpful at all.

Even after their last visit to London three years ago in another of their concerts, they loved the city's scenery especially along the Thames.

Riding on the immense London's Eye with the city's panorama below it; taking pictures in Big Ben, Westminster Palace, Tower of London, and even the St. Paul's Cathedral.

They also come at a right time to witness the famous Changing of the Guard in the Buckingham Palace. They watched it with joy plastered in their faces as they remember their second rehearsal a day before their visit to Buckingham.

Trafalgar's Square also part of their visit, while making sure that they aren't being followed by paparazzis.

"Excellent work today, ladies and gents!" said the conductor of the famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra upon the end of the joint rehearsal with Kousei and Kaori of that day.

Along with Kousei and Kaori, the rehearsal also involved a string quartet of British contemporary-type classical practitioners.

It consist of a twin by the name of Fred and George Delaney, with Fred holding violin, George cello, and two women, both their significant others, Jodie Carter and Autumn McCoy, holding viola and violin respectively.

"It's a privilege for us to play with you lads" Kousei answered the conductor.

"Of course a lot of improvement needs to be done. For example, some of us still not in tune with each other with slightly faster tempo than it should be, and we found one harp string which needs to be replaced outright along with a broken tuba. But nothing we can't do!"

The Japanese couple agreed with the conductor's assessment.

"Can we have some time with Mr. and Mrs. Arima?" asked Fred to the chief organizer of the concert. The man approved.

"We only want to say that we are proud to finally able to play with Mr. and Mrs. Arima close and personal." said George.

"Jodie here" said Fred pointing his girlfriend, "is one of your admirers too since your name began to be known."

"We have a lot in common" Kousei remarked.

"Agreed" Autumn answered, knowing that Kousei's word reflect her friendship and musical bond too.

Soon, another session of signing..

Two days prior to concert.

"I want to go to something quieter here in London. Something like a park. You know, I really need some time there for us to, well, compose. Far from journalists for a while." Kousei suddenly said upon their day's rehearsal.

"Oh! and we also need to buy some souvenirs for people back home." He continued.

"You know that I also want it too. Remember, I will be here to help you." Kaori replied, agree with her husband's proposition.

And so the couple, with deliberate intention to be away from journalists, alongside their bodyguards decided to pay a visit to Painshill Park, in the very edge of south-west London.

They take their time enjoying the scenery with trees, ponds, gazebos, and ruins of an old castle inside the park. Oh, and they have lunch together too with the guards, too.

"Enjoying this, Mako?" Kousei asked one of his guards.

"Definitely. Who knows if somebody with a poor intention is hiding inside those lush greens?" He replied.

Soon, they went into a bench near a pond, and pulled out their I-Pads, than proceeded to apply what they see inside the quiet Painshill, into musical pieces.

And in the park, Dream atop Hills is born..

August 21st, 2024.

It's showtime, and "Miyarima" had already mesmerized Londoners inside Royal Albert Hall with their first piece, What Home Means, in collaboration with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

"The Japanese Warriors blade strikes again" said a composer by the name of Hans Zimmer in a low-volume as he stands up and applauding the couple as they finished their first piece.

After Miyarima, the Delaney twins and their girlfriends deployed with a new arrangement of String Quartet no. 11, by a then-Soviet composer by the name of Dmitri Shostakovich.

The sad melody created into joyful melody was further perfected by the group into something emphasize joy across generations and across stage of live. Their movements as they controlling their strings are also eye-catching and captivating in the eyes of the audience. Including Kousei and Kaori, of course. They finally recognized the group as equal to theirs in skill and musical style. Of course, every musician has it's own style, but equal in this case means has almost the same charm and charisma as what "Miyarima" is known to be.

Then, the Japanese went on stage again and showed their rendition of Violin and Orchestra No. 2 Op. 50, Beethoven, still in collaboration with the RPO.

The audience can feel that Kousei and Kaori, with their time-forged bond, are musician which seems to never lose heart as they show their might despite uncertainties ahead, as life goes on. Their intonation, phrasing, articulation, along with notes and tones are impeccable and while not flawless, has brought the crowd to experience the fantasy, romantic world built by the original composer and perfected by Kousei and Kaori, with the orchestra served as the "backing sound" of the immense and beautiful, colorful world they built with their music.

Along with it, four more pieces, three of them are their originals, filled the Royal Albert's Hall on that eventful day.

As the final, they choose Wienawski's Grand Caprice Fantastique op.1. The said piece was the Polish' first known piece, composed when he was only 12.

The sounds reverberated through the hall much more passionate than before, as the audience were brought to once again enjoy not only both Kaori and Kousei's bond as a musician, but also to experience how they related with their families and their friends, and how it should be without too much preachy.

They didn't follow exactly how Wienawski plays, but his spirit is there. The wave of passion is there. And they ruled it but not slaves of it.

Hans Zimmer continued to watch the young couple in awe, as the sound and melody had clearly showed performers that wants to be known to the world.

Another audience, an Indonesian diplomat by the name of Erik Thaha, cultural attache of Indonesian embassy in London, which also a known writer, said. "If I was assigned to Japan I might need to meet those young people up close and personal. A good time for more exchange of culture between my country and Japan."

Unbeknown to Kousei and Kaori, their names keep rising, with up to 5.000 new subscribers on their YouTube channel. As the piece ended, Miyarima bowed out as a thunderous applause rocked the building.

"Thank you, everyone! Thank you, Britain!!" the couple thanked everyone inside with almost limitless energy and joy.

---

Reporters rushed to greet them after the concert.

As they interviewed, Kousei, the introverted one in the duumvirate, said this.

"We will storm Europe and shower them with our love, again and again!"

Kousei can see his wife teared up upon hearing his bold proclamation of his, and her love of music and those touched by their playing.

The land of Britannia has been touched by their magic hands.

Now it's time to head off into the City of Love..
