7:00 It was supposed to be raining this morning, so I didn't set my alarm early for a walk. My alarm goes off now and I read random things on Wikipedia.

I get dressed, strip my bed to wash the sheets, eat cereal and leftover pancakes while studying for the exam, and just otherwise get ready to go.

8:15 I get to work, startling the cat out of the dumpster. The day commences as most do. Lots and lots of phone calls and relaying messages back and forth. A woman yells at me about the standardized towing limits on an insurance policy.

11:00 I walk to the Kangaroo gas station to get a snack for later, and to get outside for a second. I come back and eat a sandwich and Planters Cheezballs for lunch. Ray and I can't stop eating the Cheezballs.

A state representative comes inside to say hello. Someone else comes in to pay. We play BlackJack during a quick break but the phone won't stop ringing.

1:35 My parents pick me up to go to PetSmart in the next town (they're out running errands and we'd planned for them to pick me up because we all needed to go to PetSmart). They got me fries at Jack's.

1:50 We reach PetSmart in the big shopping center, which today is busting at the seams. My dad drops us off and goes grocery shopping at Walmart. Inside PetSmart, I get cat food for the kitten, two Christmas toys for Mattie's Christmas gift, and treats for Donald. I love looking at all the birds and today there are baby doves.

We're ready to go around 2:15, but my dad isn't back yet. We go next door to the local bookstore. It is PACKED. I see the new Pembrick's Creaturepedia on a shelf, but I honestly can't get over to it.

My dad still isn't back yet and he doesn't have his phone. We hang around at PetSmart, waiting and waiting.

3:05 My dad FINALLY shows up. He says Walmart was so insane he couldn't get out fast.

3:20 I get back to work. The office clowns are playing Madden. I finish up my tasks (mostly making a couple of calls) and then sit with Charlie and play Animal Crossing. 

4:35 Ray sends me out early so I can bring the cash payments to the bank. While driving, I realize I forgot my phone, but I don't go back for it. It might be nice not to have it. The line at the bank is HUGE. 

5:05 I get home. Ordinarily I would be getting ready to tutor on Zoom, but the kids are off for Christmas break all week. I give Donald his new treats and he loves them. Mattie is crazy and wants to play. 

The rest of the evening: 

We eat leftovers from last night and I sweep the floor. I use pliers in the garage to pry apart one of Donald's toys so I can hang it from the cage. I feed the animals. I find someone online who is trying to get rid of a hermit crab, because I want another one in my crabitat. I fool around on my laptop with writing-related things and my family has White Christmas on TV. 

All I'm gonna do now is shower and read in bed until I fall asleep. I picked A Christmas Carol to read next.
