Bill floated up to classroom 67B, ready for his next class. Over the years, the demon had been studying about everything. But, there was one topic that caught his attention completely. The upcoming demon apocalypse.
Sure, it seemed like a crazy topic written just to sell merchandise, but little did the young demon know that this topic would be his downfall.
The triangle sat at his desk, listening to the teacher's lecture about how reality is an illusion and all that, when he looked at the clock. Something was wrong... He could sense it...
"Teacher!?" "Yes Mr.Cipher?" "May I be excused?" "Y-yes, why do you need to?" The teacher was just as surprised as he should be. Bill had rarely asked to excuse himself from class unless it was dire emergency.
"It's an emergency!" "Well, that explains it..." The teacher thought. "Go right ahead Mr.Cipher." And with that, the glowing pyramid jolted out of the classroom and down the hall like lightning.
When he finally made it to his house, his parents were confused. "No time to explain, we need to move, NOW!" Bill replied urgently.
The three made it out of the house, but weren't as lucky as they had hoped. It was starting, the apocalypse. Before they had time to react, a gigantic, glowing orb fell from the sky and crushed the house they had just come from. Upon impact, the house's remains disintegrated before their eyes. Suddenly, more and more came, until it was a literal hail of gigantic disintegrating orbs, destroying houses and lives as they hit the ground.
They ran (er- flew), not daring to look back, and had made it through the portal to the mindscape just as two bone-chilling screams rang through the air.
Just then, two others came through the portal. It was Damien and another demon. This one was a pink, heart shaped, one-eyed demon...Sylvia.
Sylvia had been Bill's girlfriend at the time, so it wasn't a surprise when she followed him, worried about him.
"We made it!" Bill cheered. "What was that all about?!" Damien asked.
Ever since the shield incident, Damien had grown respect for the pyramid, and would sometimes seek help from him when needed.
"The apocalypse..Where's my mom...and d-dad?" The two other demons looked at each other then shrugged. Suddenly, Bill's eye widened and he flew back into the portal.
When Sylvia and Damien followed, they saw Bill, crouching before one of the giant orbs. Unlike the others, two objects lay in front of it. A top hat...and a bow tie...
