"Hi there! How's it going? I love your hair! Nice hat man!" Snowball complimented everyone he slid up to. He was just being his normal happy self, talking to every new face he met at the party. And there were a lot of new faces to talk to. The shapeshifting blob didn't take any notice though that some people didn't want to have anything to do with him. A few even ran once his back was turned. Walking amongst the crowd, Chloe did notice how they tried to avoid her. She ignored them as she jumped into the swimming pool.

"Ya having a good time Norman?" Tiberius called, tilting his head back to look up at the giant guinea pig. Waving his arms around and bouncing a little bit to the beat of the music, Norman had a goofy smile on his face. Happy that at least his friend was having some fun, the bird monster went back to eating food he found in a cat bowl. It had no flavor and belonged to someone else. He found that out when Daisy's cat Hu hissed at him. Not even bothered by the threat, Tiberius purred, "Back in my day, my kind ate cats the size of rhinos. I wonder if they still taste good today..."

"What do we do? They're everywhere!" Duke whispered to Pops. Some of the humans were hiding under a beach umbrella. And they were all frightened by the monsters. Shaking with fear, Pops whispered in a low voice, "Try to stay calm. Hopefully my granddaughter will be back soon and she'll take them away. Then we won't have to deal with them anymore-"

BOOM!

"Wow... that had a kick to it..." Ozone wheezed, his face covered in soot and his whiskers singed. He had been trying to concoct a new drink. The results had been explosive, but not in the way he wanted it to be. At that moment, there was a loud yowl from Hu. The white and black tabby cat was running for his life while Tiberius chased him on all fours. Making a beeline to the farmhouse, Hu slipped through the cat door with ease. The bird monster, on the other hand, got his head stuck.

"AHHH!!! My eyes! I got chlorine in my eyes!" Chloe screamed, emerging from the pool. Her green eyes were now red thanks to the chlorine in the water. Unable to see, the cat monster walked around blindly with her arms outstretched in front of her. People screamed in terror and ran for the hills. With Duke pushing his wheelchair, Pops shouted at the top of his lungs, "Run for your lives everyone!"

Watching the humans run away alongside the other monsters, Snowball asked quietly, "What's wrong with them?"
