"There's enough fuel in those jet packs to get you into the spaceship monsters. However, there is not enough to get you back down to Earth," Rooster declared. He was pacing back and forth in front of the monsters. They were all on the plane. President Mel and his friend Lieutenant Buddy were getting as close as possible to the spaceship so the monsters could get onboard. Before they had left, the general had a squad take Gidget and Max to a secret bunker. Still pacing back and forth, Rooster continued, "I'll try to get back over here in ten minutes to pick you guys up. If I'm not here, I'm either late or I'm dead."

"I'm sorry, what now?" Ozone questioned.

"Okay, ten minutes or bust guys," Chloe grumbled, adjusting the jet pack straps on her shoulders. They weren't the most comfortable thing in the world. Cracking her spine, she turned to Rooster and asked, "Anything else General?"

"Yeah, I got one more thing to say and I need to get this off my chest in case if this is the last time we ever see each other," Rooster admitted. Taking off his hat, he looked at all of the monsters lined up in front of him. Clearing his throat, he murmured, "I've hunted monsters down for sixty six years and I've been your warden for sixty five of those. I just want you guys to know that... you're not monsters to me... and I am truly honored to be a part of your lives." Standing up tall and straight, he saluted them. Up in the cockpit, Mel called, "Good luck guys, and girl!"

"Alright. Let's do this boys," Chloe declared. Stepping forward as the plane door opened, she stopped by Rooster and held out her fur covered hand to him. Without hesitation, the general shook it. Giving him a brisk nod, Chloe took a deep breath before she boldly jumped out of the airplane. Up next, Ozone shook Rooster's hand as well while he pointed out, "Please be here in ten minutes."

"I won't make any promises but I'll try Doctor," Rooster replied. A nervous smile on his face, Ozone followed Chloe off the plane while the general turned to the next monster. Equipped with wings and thoughts of revenge, Tiberius didn't have a jetpack. Shaking Rooster's hand, the bird monster didn't say a word as he leapt off the plane. Up next was Snowball. Giving Rooster a hug, the shapeshifting blob mumbled, "Goodbye sir."

"Yeah yeah yeah, okay. Now go save the world and Miss Shih," Rooster pointed out. Watching as Snowball followed the others, the general sighed softly. He didn't get a chance to relax though when the whole plane shook. Smoke filled the air a second later. Running out of the cockpit with Mel, Buddy shouted, "We've been shot down!" A grin on his face, Rooster declared, "Get ready for a bumpy ride boys!"

All was peaceful at Norman's grave. Then a fiery plane crashed in the countryside off into the distance. A moment later, Rooster floated down, carrying Mel in his arms. A giant white parachute allowed them to glide down effortlessly. Buddy followed close behind with his own parachute. Landing on the road, the general announced, "And that's why you should always wear a parachute sir."

"Yes, very good point-" Mel started to say when the ground suddenly shook under their feet.
