Sonnet 107: Fair Youth
(Faults 18)
The fault within my stars are never shared
With those who simply cannot understand
My woes of circumstance; I know it's hard
To make a case upon the worldly stand
Of popular opinion, once the mind's
Made up and every added fact confirms
The guilt upon my head; the judge still finds
Me guilty of my faults in the strongest terms.
And yet, despite the stain of disrespect,
I've still a right to hold my head up high
To see the King, if only to direct
My eyes upon the blueness of the sky;
Oh blessèd Prince of Peace, forgive my sins,
So that a truer life of love begins.
(To be continued...)
A/N: Here's yet another installment, but wait, there's more... ( <_< )
