Sonnet 80: The Poet
(Admonishments 7)

Beware of love that springs from bliss and blood:
In bliss, the loving player sheds no tear,
Except in crying tears that mix a flood
Of joy with ignorance, and crime with cheer;
In blood, thy doom encroaches from afar
And creeps into thy bedsheets to amuse her;
When thou art blind when death comes near to mar
Thy fate, in false belief wilt thou accuse her.
But I'm the narrow path to better future,
Whose rhymes thine endless spring shall celebrate;
So seek me for a father's loving rapture,
Whose will with thine shall brave the slings of fate.
      So make my love no more a tragedy;
      Create a triumph fit for comedy!

(To be continued...)

A/N: 7th installment and counting... ( ^_^ ) It's getting a little more heated with his words, I think...
