Hiro and Alsan

The festival was loud. It was too full of people, and there was so much going on. Hiro hated the feeling of eyes on him, it made him want to run and hide. But, Alsan had asked him to wait on him so he was staying in place for now, just looking at his feet. His heartbeat was drowning out some of the noise at this point.

So, he didn't hear anyone approaching until he felt a light tap on his shoulder. Hiro jumped, his attention snapping up towards his "assailant". However, he relaxed right away as he saw it was only Alsan. "Hey." The other omega greeted, "Sorry, did I scare you?" He questioned.

"O-Oh, uh, not really." Hiro shook his head, beginning to mess with his hand. Alsan noticed of course, but didn't comment. Instead, he hummed and moved handed Hiro what he'd gone to get.

Hiro looked at the strawberry cake, startled. "O-oh, uh, thank you but..." It was a small piece, but it was still cake. He'd already had one earlier in the week, so excusing another one would be mentally difficult.

"Hey, it's a big event. You can have one treat, right?" Alsan smiled, taking Hiro's free hand gently. "The cakes from the stall I got that from are insanely good, and you can only get them at the festival. So since you won't get another chance to try it, that makes it even more fine to eat now right?"

Hiro paused at that, before nodding a bit. "O-okay...Just one won't hurt..." He said gently, "A-and you already bought it so..."

That made Alsan grin a bit wider, nodding. "Yeah. Why don't we go find somewhere quiet to sit?" He asked, starting to walk a bit away from the crowd "I can get some milk from a vending machine too."

Hiro nodded, moving away from everyone else sounded perfect right now but... "I-I can get the milk. You bought the cake already." He replied, "You shouldn't spend more money on me." That got a small tsk out of Alsan, who shook his head.

"I want to though. I like spoiling you a bit." Alsan replied with a smile, "Besides, consider it a thank you for helping me learn to nest again." Hiro chewed the inside of his cheek, unable to find an argument for that. Alsan was a bit too good at convincing him of things.

"O-okay..." Hiro nodded, just holding onto Alsan's hand as they walked. He could feel himself relaxing more and more the further away they got from the crowd. Not having any eyes on him made him feel a lot better. Well...Any eyes but Alsan's. Whenever the other would glance back at him and their eyes would lock, Hiro could feel his heart race just a bit. He had no idea why he felt like this with Alsan. It was totally new to him. But...He knew he was happy. Happier than he'd been in a very long time. Alsan was his best friend, at the very least, that was for sure.

Once they were alone, Alsan found a place for them away from everyone else but close enough to vending machines that Hiro could still see Alsan as he walked off to get them some milk. Hiro got comfortable sitting down, and it wasn't long before Alsan had joined him. They sat hip to hip, and Hiro enjoyed the physical contact more than he'd let on. His scent very easily gave away how happy and relaxed he was. It took him a moment to start eating the cake, but it was obvious that he was thrilled when he did. He really did adore cake. And if it wasn't for the mental hurdles, he certainly would eat a lot more of it. It just made him happy.

Hiro kept eating, leaning on Alsan when he was done. To him, this was a lot better than hanging out around the festival. He could hear it in the distance, but that was fine. He was sure that his siblings were having fun, and that was good. Staying away with Alsan was much better to Hiro.

As time went on, the pair moved to be laying down, just talking and having fun like usual. Hiro found himself making more eye contact with Alsan, his face heating up each time he realized he was staring. His heart was racing, but in a good way. He couldn't quite place the feeling, but he liked it.

"So...Did you like the festival?" Alsan asked with a hum, watching Hiro who looked a bit confused.

"I-I mean...We didn't really do the festival." Hiro pointed out, laughing softly. Alsan hummed, slyly moving and putting his arm around Hiro's waist, pulling him closer until they were practically nose to nose, earning a small squeak from Hiro as the other omega's face exploded in crimson.

"Haven't you noticed?" Alsan asked, shaking his head, "I've been trying to court you all night." Now that made Hiro a bit...Speechless. After all, omega x omega relationships weren't...Heard of in Iron Fang, at least not openly. So that thought had never even crossed Hiro's mind. He could only stare at Alsan for a bit, causing the other to laugh a little. "Guess not." He hummed, just holding the other for a moment. "But...Now that you know, what do you think about it?" He asked.

Hiro took a moment, trying to find the answer to that himself. At first, he wasn't sure as his brain struggled to process that information. But, after a moment he started attempting to answer. He stuttered and stumbled over his words for a bit, being totally incoherent. That almost made Alsan think he'd gone too far and had just ruined a good friendship, and he started to pull away. However, Hiro grabbed his shirt and kept him close, burying his face in the other's shoulder as he collected himself. Hiro found surrounding himself in Alsan's scent...Calming. It took him a while still to be able to speak up. "I...I think it worked." He replied softly, finding himself unable to pull away and look at Alsan. He didn't need to though, he could tell how happy hearing that made Alsan.

After a good, long while, Hiro pulled himself back a bit to face the other. As soon as he did, Alsan managed to catch his lips, and though he was shocked...Hiro found himself melting into the kiss with a small purr.

This really was just perfect.
