Third Person POV 

In a room, coughing could be heard as footsteps slowly walked towards a hunter on the ground. This hunter was no other than Cayde. The vanguard for the hunters. 

Cayde: Well, this...this is awkward. I- Y-You got a gun I can borrow? 

???: No. But I do have a bullet. With your name on it. 

Cayde: Any second now, my partners is gonna roll in here and kill...Every. Last. One of you. And you my man, 

???: Shh. Shhh. Shh. Shh. This is going to hurt... A lot. 
He said as he raised his gun at Cayde. 

???: Any last words. 

Cayde: How's your sister? 
He said as he looks at him. 

BANG 

Few hours earlier 

Cayde: Hey wake up guardian. 
He said as Ruby slowly woke up.

Ruby: W-What? 
She yawns. 

Cayde: We're here. 
He said as he opens the door, revealing an empty dock. 

Ruby followed him out of the ship as she sees Y/N with Ana as they walked out of their ship. 

Cayde: Petra Venji. Thanks for the invite. 
He said as Ruby looked forward to see  a woman with red hair. 

Cayde: Whatcha packing for this party? 

Petra: Meh. The usual. 
She said before pulling out her dagger. 

Cayde: Oh! Do the thing! 
He said before leaning towards Ruby. 

Cayde: Seriously watch this. 
He said to Ruby. 

Petra let get of her dagger as it slowly spinned into the air before falling back into her hand. 

Cayde: That'll never freak me out. Do it again! 
He said as he looks at her. 

Petra: Later. Maybe. Right now, gen-pop is running wild. Fortunately, the main arena and lower levels remain on lock-down. But if the core security fail...containment is going to be a problem. 
She said as she pulled out her handgun. 

Cayde: Just another day at the office. 
He said as he pulls out his gun. 

Cayde: All right guys, this is a Cayde riff in 6. Watch me for the changes and uh...try to keep up. Now let's go to prison! 
He said before jumping off a ledge while Ruby gasped.

Ruby: D-D-Does he do this all the time? 
She asked. 

Ana: Unfortunately yes. 
She said as she pulled out her rifle. 

Y/N: Let's go. 
He says as he runs to the entrance while the two follow.

The three hunters go to a corner as they see fallens in the room. 

Y/N: Ana. You ready? 
He asked as he checks his gun. 

Ana nods as she pulls out a grenade. 

Y/N: Go. 
He said as Ana goes into the room and throws a greande at them before going behind cover. 

Ruby prepares to run into the room but Y/N stopped her. 

Ruby: What?

Y/N:  Stay behind me. 
He said as he looks at her. 

Mini-Time-Skip 

Cayde was walking up of a room as he walked onto a structure above a dark pit. 

Cayde: Looks we're all done and dusted here, kiddos. Ramen's on me. 
He said as he leaned against a wall while seeing lights go on. 

Petra was walking to a door as she looked around. 

Petra: Looking pretty good down here. Just got to check one last thing. 
She said before opening a door and slowly walking in. 

Petra slowly walked in as she held her gun high before pulling out a flashlight. Petra walked in as she sees cells open before her eyes widen. 

Petra: No! No! No! Cayde he's gone. This isn't a prison riot! It's a prison break! The airlock on Dock Zero! It's the only way this far down. They're going to escape.

Cayde: Not if I get there first. 
He said as he aimed at a cable. 

BANG 

Petra walked out of the room as she heard the gunshot. 

Petra: Cayde. 
She said as she walked to the railing to see Cayde falling down. 

To Y/N 

Y/N looked down as he saw Cayde falling down the pit. 

Ruby: Cayde! 
She yells as she sees him falling. 

Y/N: We have to hurry. 
He said before he started running. 

To Cayde

 Cayde slowly got up as he moved a rock. 

Cayde: Ahh. Never felt better. 
He said before grabbing his gun. 

Cayde: You see that Petra? 
He asked as he looks around. 

Cayde: Petra? Y/N? Ruby ?
He said as he looks around. 

Cayde: Must've knocked out the comm relays with that spectacular landing. 
He said as he sees fallen around him. 

Cayde: And cue the ominious music........Ok, everybody. Back in your cages. 
He said awkwardly before seeing fallen running at him. 

Cayde: I said back in your cages! 
He yells before shooting one in the head before throwing a knife at another's head and shooting a third one. 

As he was about to turn around, a fallen ram into him causing him to stagger back. Cayde managed to aim at the fallen before pulling the trigger and aiming at another to kill him. Cayde pulled out a knife and threw another running towards him before reloading his handgun. 

A fallen ran at Cayde from behind and swung its arm at him. Cayde bent down as the fallen missed before Cayde shot at him and an explosive barrel. 

BOOM 

The explosion killed two more fallens as their body hit two more. Cayde shot another before jumping onto a destroyed structure. Cayde turns to his side as he sees more before pulling out a tripwire and places it on the structure's side. Cayde shot two more in the head as he jumped. As he jumped onto another platform, the tripwire went off and killed three more fallens. 

Cayde rolled down as he shot another before being caught by one. The fallen threw Cayde at a wall as it went to grab a destroyed platform. 

Cayde: That hurt. 
He said before the fallen swung the platform at him, causing him to hit a destroyed walkway and being caught on it. Cayde now hanging on the walkway, he shot the railing causing it to fall onto the fallen. 

Cayde: Sorry. Not sorry. 
He said before shooting another in the head. 

Cayde slid under one as he shot at its head before throwing a knife at another and shooting another. Suddenly he was grabbed by the shoulder and he hit the fallen at the throat before being tossed onto another platform. Cayde rolled back as he used the platform as a shield before shooting at one behind him. Cayde looked up as he sees a horde of fallen before starting to run. As the group of fallen ran to him, swinging their weapons as Cayde went to summon his gun and spin to aim at them. Before he could pull the trigger, he was knocked onto the floor as his golden aura stopped. 

Cayde quickly got back up as he aimed a fallen but his gun was knocked out of his hand before dodging an ax. 

Unaware to Cayde, a sniper was looking at him while he was kicked down. Cayde reached for his handgun but was pulled by his cape and being slammed into a metal platform. 

The fallen tossed him onto the ground as they went to beat down on him. Suddenly an oragne aura surrounded him as he threw golden knives at the fallen before landing onto the ground. 

Cayde: That's it. 
He said as he grabs his handgun. 

Cayde: I'm pissed. 
He said before being ram into a metal wall. 

Cayde struggles to use his handgun as the fallen roared at him. Cayde uses his fist to knock on the fallen's shoulder before using his horn to kill the fallen. 

Cayde slowly stumbles forwards as he looks to see the other fallen. 

Cayde: Is that really all you got? 
He said before stopping as he held his arm out. 

Cayde: Help me here little buddy. 
He said as he formed his ghost in hand. 

BANG 

To Y/N 

Y/N held his hand in front of him as he saw the bright light. 

Ruby: W-W-What was that? 

Y/N: No. 
He said as he started running faster before shooting a hole into the walls. 

Ruby: Y/N! 
She yells as she runs to him. 

Ruby: What was that light Ana? 
She asked as she followed him. 

Ana: That what happens when a ghost is destroyed. 
She said as she followed Y/N. 

Ruby: What happens when a ghost is destroyed? 

Ana: They die. 

Y/N was running as fallen ran at him. 

BANG 

Y/N shot one in the head before grabbing another and slamming its head into the ground. Y/N grabs his grenade and shoots a fallen before shoving it inside. Y/N grabs the fallen and throws them down the hall . As the fallen hit the ground, Y/N aimed at the grenade and shot it. 

BOOM 

Ruby and Ana stopped as they saw the grenade blow a hole into the wall as they saw Cayde laying on the ground. 

Ruby: N-No. 
She said as she saw Cayde on the ground. 

Ruby pulled out scythe and used her semblance. Ruby landed on the platform as she saw the man standing in front of Cayde, his gun aiming at him. 

???: Any last words.

Cayde: How's your sister?
He said as he looks at him.

BANG
