Third Person POV 

2 hours later 

Y/N and Cayde were standing in front of Ruby as she was jumping over obstacles while the two hunters were watching. 

Cayde: I must say, she's doing pretty good. 
He said as he looks at Y/N. 

Y/N: Hmm. 
He said as he looks to see Ruby bob and weave around the corners as Ana was shooting at her. 

Ana: Come on. You need to be faster than that. 
She said as she continues to shoot at Ruby before running behind cover. 

Ruby laid behind the wall as she was covered in sweat. Panting heavily as she looks around the corner to see Ana holding her scout rifle at her direction. 

Ruby looks at Y/n, who was looking at her with a blank expression but sighs sadly before pulling out her sniper to shoot at Ana. 

BANG 

As Ruby aimed at Ana, Ana shot at Ruby's sniper before it was knocked out of her hand. 

Ana: Never try to do that in the battlefield unless your enemy does not know your location. 
She said to her. 

Ruby: O-O-Okay. 
She said, looking at Y/N. 

Y/N: Take a 10 minute break. 
He said to them. 

Ana: Come on. 
She said as she wraps her arm around Ruby's shoulder. 

Ana:  You're doing pretty good. 
She said as she smiles at Ruby. 

Ruby: R-Really? 

Ana: Yeah. A lot better than me when I became a hunter. 
She said as she looks at her. 

Ruby slowly smiles but looks down as she thinks about him. 

Ana: What's wrong? 

Ruby: Just thinking about Y/N. 
She said with a sad tone. 

Ana: Why? 
She asked as she brought her to a table and gave her water. 

Ruby: I-I-I'm just trying to be friends with him and now that I'm a hunter, I thought I-I-I-
She struggles to finish as tears ran down her cheeks. 

Ana: I understand. 
She said as she looks at her. 

Ruby: R-R-R-Really? 
She asks as she looks at her. 

Ana: Of course I do. He was always like since then. 

Ruby: Since when? 
She asks as she looks at her. 

Ana pulls out her ghost and it projects a screen of Y/N's files. 

Ruby: W-What is it? 

Ana: His team files. All the previous members of his last team. KIA. 

Ruby Kia? 
She asks as she reads it. 

Ana: Killed In Action. 

Ruby's eyes widen as she looks at her. 

Ruby: Y-You mean-

Ana: Dead. 

Ruby looks down as she drinks her water. 

Ana: Don't think too much on it. 
She said as she drinks hers. 

Ana: Just listen to what Y/N tells you and you'll survive. Maybe even start to make him move on. 

To Y/N 

Y/N was standing in front of four stones as he pulled out a revolver. 

Y/N: Hey guys. 
He said as he took off his helmet, looking at the names engraved into the stones. 

The lone hunter looked at the 2 graves in front of him as he had tears in his eyes. 

Y/N: I-t-t-it's been 2 years since we last saw each other. 
He said with pain in his voice. 

Y/N: Two years since I failed to protect you too. 
He said as tears started rolling down his face. 

Y/N's POV 

I could see their smiles as I stood there. I could hear their voices as I stood there. The days when we hung out and trained together. 

Flashback 

I was standing in a arena as I waited for them. 

???: Hey Y/N! 
I heard her yell my name out. 

I turned around and was brought into a hug. 

"Oh hey Melissa." 
I said as I hugged her back. 

Melissa: How is my team leader doing? 
She asked as she looked at me with a smile. 

"I'm doing fine. How about you?" 
I asked. 

Melissa: I'm doing okay. 
She said as she looked at me. 

"Where is Chris?" 
I asked her. 

???: I'M RIGHT HERE! 
I heard him yell as he landed in front of us. 

"There you are." 

Chris: Hey! Don't blame me for being late, blame her! 

Melissa: Oh really? You're the titan. I'm the warlock in this team. 
She giggled. 

Chris: You nearly vaporized me! 

Melissa: We'll see if you don't shut up. 

Chris: Want to go! Lets see if your Nova bomb survives against my shield!
He yells. 

"ENOUGH!" 
I yelled as the two looked at me. 

Melissa: Yeah Chris. 
She giggles. 

Chris: Hey! 

"Come on. Let's go talk to Cayde about a mission." 

Flashback Ends 

"I miss you two." 

"I miss you two a lot." 

Third Person POV 

???: I'm sure they're happy where they are babe. 

Y/N: I just miss them Blake. 
He said as he looks at his old team's grave. 

Blake: What happened then is not your fault. 
She said as she hugged him from behind. 

Y/N: I'm the leader Blake. I am responsible for everything. 
He said with pain in his voice. 

Blake: Y/N. You did what you could. 
She said as she looked at him. 

Y/N looks at her as he hugged her back. 

Blake: Let's go my guardian. Let's go back before they start to get worry. 
She said with a smile. 

Y/N: Okay babe. 
He said and walks with her back to Ruby. 

While the two went back to the training area, Cayde was meeting up with Ikora and Zavala. 

Zavala: Cayde. There you are. 
He said as he looks at the hunter. 

Cayde: Hey Zavala. What is it you wanted me to be here? 

Zavala: We have a situation. 

Cayde: Well what is it? 

Ikora: There is a sitatuion - 

Zavala: In the reef. 

Cayde: What king of situation? 

Zavala/Ikora: Prison Outbreak
