Waiting for the tournament to begin I began to have a vision. It was the same one that me and Lord Raiden had talked about having last night.

It started off by showing all the contestants on a battlefield with blood all over the place along the Kombatants dead. Some killed with their own weapons while others were killed with different weapons belonging to other fighters.

Eventually it showed a staircase which also had corpses on it as well that belonged to the fighters. When my view reached the top there was grunting and painful gasps of air coming from the top. Revealing the Emperor Shao Kahn beating an almost lifeless Raiden and also me. I was just as lifeless or maybe even more so than Raiden.

"How does it feel Raiden and Y/N!? To see just how far the mighty demigod and Elder God Knight have fallen!?" Shao Kahn said while laughing.

"Elder... Gods... *Coughs up blood* Why have you forsaken us!?" Raiden wheezily asked while laying on the ground with Shao Kahn's Foot pressed firmly against his chest.

While I was also on the ground I looked at Raiden with one of my eyes swollen and black while blood escaped my mouth. I was in so much pain and I felt so helpless. I tried reaching out to Raiden to try to help him but then Shao Kahn stomped on my hand with his other foot still plant firmly on Raiden's chest and I yelled in pain.

"Let the elder gods see what fate beholds they're so called 'Thunder God'." Shao Kahn said with a menacing smirk.

I tried to remove my hand from Shao Kahn's grasp but I just couldn't budge. Then something dreadful happened. Shao Kahn raised his foot high in the air and stomped on Raiden's chest hard completely destroying his heart. After that he took Raiden's soul.

"NOOOOO!!! ILL TEAR YOU APART!!!" I shouted right at the man who killed my best friend.

Suddenly I was overcome with a powerful surge of rage and a need of violence and so in the position I was in I leaned forward and Chomped right into the emperor's testicles. Shao Kahn shouted in pain and tried to pull me off but I wasn't budging. Then he summoned his hammer, swung it at me and the powerful impact launched me forward right into one of the pillars.

When I crashed the ring I had kept with me of my dead wife slipped out of my pocket, landed on the ground and the gem shattered to pieces. The ring was golden and had a ruby in the middle.

I noticed it and slowly crawled over to it to pick up the pieces of the gem. I had an idea but there was no guarantee it would work. Using the last of my power I chanted a spell into the pieces that started to glow.

" *Laughing* Go Ahead! Pray to the Elder Gods Y/N! But just know that this time no one will be here to save you!" Shao Kahn told the dying Knight who was still chanting.

Shao Kahn raised his hammer and before he killed me and ended my life I finished the chant, raised my head up and said weakly "He must win..." I lowered my head ready for your death.

Suddenly I was pulled out of my vision and realised where I was. I was at the area for the fighters to well... Fight. I gripped my head and whispered what I last said to myself.

"Are you okay?" I felt a hand on my shoulder skaking me gently. I looked to my left and saw none other than Sonya Blade. She had a look of concern in her eyes and I then realised I was staring at her for bit which made it awkward.

I shook my head and replied "Don't worry about me. Just experienced a bad memory. That's all." While that was basically true she nodded in understanding.

It was then I realised that I zoned out for a bit during my vision and didn't know the progress of the tournament. I decided to ask Sonya to bring me up to speed.

She began explaining how Johnny had just finished beating up Reptile and was now facing Baraka. While this did worry me a bit I noticed that Johnny actually wasn't that bad of a fighter and managed to beat Baraka.

He then asked Baraka for his agent to see if maybe the Tarkatan wouldn't mind pairing up with him on a new movie. This conversation was quickly cut short by Shang Tsung.

"Finish him!" The old wizard said loudly.

"What seriously?" Johnny asked a little confused.

"Kill him!" Shang Tsung yelled out.

Johnny looked over to me for confirmation and I quickly shook my head to silently say no. He nodded in agreement and refused to kill Baraka.

"Very well then. The next fight begins at dawn." The old man stated disappointed.

Everyone dispersed and did their own thing. When Shang Tsung left I caught him glaring angrily at me and so I glared back until he left. I looked over to Lord Raiden and saw his amulet cracked.

Thinking back to when he told me his version of his vision I took out my wife's ring that I had kept in my pocket and was absolutely shocked. The ring's gem had a slight crack in it. It matched one of the cracks in the gem in my vision.

This confirmed it. This vision was actually a reality and I had no idea how to stop it from happening.
