A/N: In this chapter, I will be demonstrating how Dragon Ball Super would be as my own version to fix what went wrong with the original anime.

Dragon Ball Super. One of the most controversial, yet popular anime's in all of anime history. So controversial, in fact, it's even more controversial and popular than Dragon Ball GT and Z combined. That doesn't mean, it's any better than both shows.

It's just as bad and I'll show you why.

1. The animation sucks, and it doesn't help that it's apparently cheaper for Yamamuro to animate than actual hand drawn animation back then in Z and even GT. (This is just an extra rant, nothing to do what I'm doing here)
2. Nobody likes Super Saiyan Blue, no matter how hard you try to convince me that it's a cool form. It's only a Super Saiyan form with blue hair dye, literally used in almost every single episode for both comedic purposes and battles, and designs are also very poor compared to the incredible designs of Super Saiyan God. I mean seriously, look at the hair and the aura compared to both forms

Would you prefer the bland Super Saiyan recoloring based on an old DBZ fan's artwork of possibly Super Saiyan 60 or 70?

Or.....

A legendary transformation with a fiery aura and pure God Ki in which gives the user only red hair in his base form, while giving him the ability to self heal, predict and avoid opponents' moves, conserve stamina, have greater power than all three Super Saiyan forms and more use than the Blue form?

If you accept the Super Saiyan God form, I rest my case.

3. Goku is just way too dumb to even match his true character back in both Z and GT, even though, sadly this is just to advance the plot in Super.

4. The comedic moments and filler are way too dumb to tolerate and they happen way more often than both Z and GT combined. And it's not just because they're stalling time for Toriyama to write up more DBS stories. I mean seriously?  Yamcha against Vegeta in Baseball? Vegeta sucking on a PACIFIER!?

My god man! I mean! Come on!

Anyway, enough of the hate. Most of the reason why I dislike Super is because they replaced Battle of Gods and Resurrection F, both basic movies which made more sense than their actual canon seasons in the series. Which is way more BORING than the movies themselves. While the anime has become way too kid-friendly and yet the anime was never supposed to be while Goku became more embarrassingly child-like than even Kid Trunks.

So now is the time to fix what we all hate, now is the time to restore what was the pinnacle in Z and GT, now is the time to create my reborn version of Dragon Ball Super.

Reborn:
Battle of Gods begins and ends as usual, the movie never really altered because I never saw anything wrong with the movie. Plus I prefer the movie as the first installment of Reborn Super.

But then Resurrection F is another story. As in the original movie, it begins with Sorbet using the Earth's Dragon Balls from the child Pilaf gang to resurrect Frieza in the form of his pieces because of Future Trunks. They soon bring him back in his ship, restore him back to normal with their new advanced technology, and Frieza returns back to life. He plans revenge against the Saiyans, but upon learning that Goku has gotten stronger to the point of defeating Majin Buu and fighting Beerus the God of Destruction to a stalemate (as Buu and Beerus were the only two beings in the universe Frieza was warned by his father never to cross), he postpones the invasion so he can train himself for the first time in his life. (There is no way he has that MUCH potential to become instantly god level by training for only 4 months, but whatever)

Then later on, this movie is still continuing as in the original.
Jaco warns Bulma that Frieza is approaching, she gathers five of the Z-Fighters, they all fight off Frieza's soldiers, and they all get beat by Frieza in only his first form.
When Bulma finally calls Whis, Goku and Vegeta return to Earth to face Frieza as in the original movie. Whis and Beerus join them to see how the fight would turn out instead of the strawberry sundae, Beerus threatening both warriors to show off a good fight or else they'll be destroyed as punishment for having spent their training days for nothing and Whis only attending Beerus by his side with no intention to join either of the two. Although Frieza and Goku are a little terrified of what is to happen, they both promise to not disappoint him in their own ways. Despite powering up to Final Form, Frieza is unable to defeat Goku as a God-like Saiyan (base form with God Ki), but the latter deduces that he is holding back and the two then agree to fight at full power.

This is where a major turning point becomes the definition of Dragon Ball Super. Something that we never got, yet we wished for in the anime. Something that we truly desired ever since Battle of Gods. In this anime...... Super Saiyan Blue doesn't exist. That's right.
In the movie, Goku transforms by will into his strongest form yet in the anime after training for months to learn about the Saiyan legend from the Namekian Book of Legenda and fully masters it to where he can become one by will. A Super Saiyan God.

The power alone makes Beerus want to fight Goku again, mostly due to how he fought the God of Destruction in their first fight. Frieza could only laugh at this, amazed that the second legend of the Saiyan Race was just as true as the Super Saiyan Myth and the form Goku used to meet at odds with Beerus. He's even jealous that such godly power is exclusive as a form to Saiyans only. However, he isn't afraid of this or Goku's newfound strength and has came prepared with a form he claims to be more powerful than the Super Saiyan God. He soon transforms into his strongest form and as Super Saiyan 3's debut almost fractured the entire Earth, Frieza's power up does the exact same thing. Mountains crumbling, waves splashing all over the earth, glass from buildings shattering in every city, almost the entire world about to fall apart until suddenly, Frieza engulfs himself with a bright flash of light and reveals himself... In his Golden Form.

(Still lame as ever, but let's just go with it)
Next, they both duke it out and Goku realizes Frieza is much more stronger when he gains the upper hand and could easily lose if Goku was just to brawl at the Space Emperor. However, he does what he could to get around this issue and defeat him without the immense raw strength/power. From using Destructo Discs to freezing him still with his own Godly Aura, he eventually turns the tables to beat down Frieza. He gives him the chance to leave as he did in the original movie, but is shot in the chest by Sorbet's ray gun when he lowers his guard.

Frieza stands over the incapacitated Goku, and offers Vegeta a chance to kill Goku and to command his future army, but Vegeta refuses. The Saiyan Prince, despite having an old disdain for Goku, has gotten a bit soft and claims that Goku's desire for getting stronger to protect his friends/family, their rivalry and his will defend his own family is what keeps him going. Without Goku, Vegeta would've never gotten this far despite Beerus being a clear threat to his family. That was when Goku knocks Frieza away when Frieza lowered his own guard, having self healed since he stayed in his Super Saiyan God form and when Sorbet tries to fire at him again, Vegeta stops him by deflecting his ray gun blast, killing him in the process.

Vegeta then turns to Goku and demands to have his own fight against Frieza, as he never got to avenge the Saiyan Race and have revenge on the Emperor. Goku complies and stands down in base form, letting Vegeta transform into his own Super Saiyan God form.

Vegeta ends up battering Frieza, knocking him out of his golden form with his own brutal fighting style in his God form and taking advantage of Frieza's lack of stamina after only coming to Earth immediately after unlocking his golden form, something opposite of what Goku and Vegeta did. Humiliated and angered, Frieza shoots a blast into the Earth, destroying it and Vegeta as before in the original movie. Goku, Whis, Beerus, and the Z fighters are left on a small piece of rock in space, where they lament the loss of the planet; Goku regrets not killing Frieza when he had the chance. Whis remarks he can turn back time up to three minutes and, after doing so, Goku destroys Frieza with his new technique, the Dragon Fist. In which he punches through Frieza and a fiery manifestation of a Godly Eastern Dragon consumes the emperor whole before blowing up into a massive explosion, finally ending the emperor's reign, much to Vegeta's anger.

In the aftermath, as the characters say their goodbyes to Beerus and Whis after Beerus deduces that they will leave to their godly duties and soon return for the two Saiyans to continue their training for Beerus' rematch, Goku and Vegeta discuss the assertion by Whis that, if the two of them were to team up, opponents like Frieza and even Beerus would not have a chance to knock them out.
(This is where things get different again compared to the original movie)
Vegeta tried to deny this with his pride, still angered that Goku still gets to defeat the next big villain like always. But Goku promises that next time, Vegeta will get a shot at defeating another powerful opponent. Although the prince doubts this, he remembers their past battles with Cell and Majin Buu and for ounce, he learns to finally put his pride aside a little more often to accept his proposal for proper teamwork.
Meanwhile, Frieza is back in Hell and instead of being cocooned to listen to teddy bears and fairies singing, he is chained up inside the deepest darkest parts of a scorched mountain. While imprisoned, he vows to prepare himself again and escape with many plans he has in store for his enemies as well as the Multiverse. With his last words being that they will regret putting him back in Hell, especially Son Goku.

And now to the Tournament of Destroyers Arc!

Unlike the anime, this starts completely different. Champa arrives to Beerus' place where our two iconic heroes are still on Earth, spending time with their families (or Vegeta just training in the Gravity Chamber to keep his skills sharp). Champa and Vados arrive from Universe 6 for yet another event of which universe' food is better. Beerus and Champa are evened our, until Whis provides boxes of noodles for everyone to try after getting them recently from one of his visits. As in the original anime, they all love it, Whis reveals it came from Earth much to Beerus' pride being amplified against his fat brother, less fat jokes are mentioned due to Goku not being there, and Champa wants to have Universe 7's Earth after Vados reveals their own Earth is gone after constant civil wars have wiped out all life on the planet. And Champa reveals he can switch Earths by using the Super Dragon Balls, the most powerful and original set of Dragon Balls which are only found in the twin universes, (trimmed for the Namekians to have their own set of Dragon Balls long ago), and he has only found 6 of them so far.

Beerus wants to keep his own Earth since he loves their delicacies too, so they both eventually agree to hold a Tournament between Universe 6 and 7's batch of strongest warriors after Whis and Vados mentions an idea about mortals fighting each other besides Goku and Vegeta. Champa and Vados leave to their own universe to set up where they'll hold up the Tournament after announcing that the tournament will begin in 5 days while Beerus and Whis goes to Earth to gather their own warriors. They soon gather Goku, Vegeta and the rest of their families to announce that they'll hold a tournament against Universe 6 and the rest of the vital information. Which surprises everyone except Goku about Universe 6's existence since he has already learned from Beerus that other universes exist with their own Gods of Destruction during their first battle.

After hearing about the Super Dragon Balls being located in Universe 6 and 7, Bulma decides to head to the center of the universe and find the last Super Dragon Ball with the help of her new Dragon Radar and Jaco after Whis advises this and Shenron reveals that finding the last Super Dragon Ball is beyond his power while Goku and Vegeta decides to train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for 3 days (3 years inside to become stronger and more skilled with their already mastered Super Saiyan and God forms). But not before Goku advises the first recruited Goten and Trunks to train with Piccolo and Majin Buu while recruiting them to the team so they all can get stronger using both the Gravity Chamber and some experience to become just as important as they were before when Majin Buu was still a threat to the Earth. (Meaning no Monaka since Goku and Vegeta are never that dumb in the reborn anime).

(And since Goku and Vegeta were never with Beerus and Whis before they make up the Tournament, fusion is not illegal, there are no rules similar to the Earth's tournaments, and no written exam. At least not yet)

Five days later, Goku and Vegeta are prepared with now Gotenks, Piccolo, and Majin Buu (despite still hating Beerus) as Universe 7's Team in the Tournament. They arrive to the Nameless Planet between both universes and so does Champa's own team for Universe 6.

And now the Tournament of Destroyers has begun.

(In another chapter because rewriting all of Super is way too long, lol)
