This is a sequel to the Pecan chapter where Sage Cookie gives birth to her and Almond Cookie's second child! My other OC Sassperaila Cookie will also be in the story as well and my OC Mint Crunch Cookie will be mentioned! Any of my other fankids that are related to any of the characters mentioned in this story are somewhere else!

Sage Cookie sat on a bench at a park with her husband Almond Cookie. Almond had his hand on her stomach, and smiles as he felt a kick from the baby inside it. Sage was nine months pregnant with their second child, and the couple was eagerly awaiting the arrival of their bundle of joy. Sage Cookie looks at her husband with a smile. "You're excited for the baby to arrive, aren't you?" She asks. Almond Cookie nods.

Almond and Sage then turn to watch their two daughters playing with other kids. Their younger daughter Pecan Cookie was playing on the swings with Espresso Cookie, Madeleine Cookie, and Mint Crunch Cookie's son Sweet Crunch Cookie while Walnut Cookie was hanging out with Cream Puff Cookie, Coffee Cake Cookie, Soy Milk Cookie, and Puppy Biscuit Cookie. Latte Cookie and Sassperaila Cookie were sitting on a bench next to the one that Almond and Sage were sitting on.

"You guys are pretty excited for your baby to come, huh?" Latte Cookie asks with a smile as Sage Cookie smiles. "Of course!" Sage Cookie says. "I think we should probably get going now, it's getting kinda late," Sage Cookie says as she goes to stand up but proceeds to nearly fall over, Almond Cookie quickly catching her. Sage grabs her stomach in pain as she feels a liquid rushing down her legs. She starts panting as a few tears fall down her face. "Sage, are you ok?!" Almond asks, worry evident in his voice. "T-the baby is coming-," Sage says shakily. Latte and Sassperaila both gasp as Almond looked shocked.

"Let's get you to the hospital," Almond says, wrapping his arm around her back and starts walking her to the hospital. "Kids, we're heading to the hospital! Please come with us!" Latte says. "What's happening?" Walnut Cookie asks. "Your mother is in labor," Sassperaila Cookie replies. The older kids gather up the younger kids and they follow the adults. Sage Cookie yelps as she feels another contraction, her legs starting to give out due to the pain. "I'll help you, hold on," Almond Cookie says before proceeding to pick up Sage Cookie and carrying her to the hospital. When they get there, Sage is rushed to a room, Almond staying by her side.

"I'm going to need to check to see if you're able to push yet," the doctor says before going between Sage's legs, the brunette whimpering at the feeling, despite having experienced this before. Almond holds his wife's hand comfortingly. "You can start pushing during the next contraction," the doctor says as Sage nods. As soon as the next contraction hits, Sage starts pushing, crying out in pain, Almond holding her hand as she pushes. "I-it hurts," Sage says, tears in her eyes. "I know, but you need to keep pushing," Almond says, holding Sage's hand, Sage pushing during the contractions. "I can see the head, push carefully," the doctor says. Sage nods as she pushes carefully, crying out in pain.

"The cord isn't around the neck, keep pushing carefully," the doctor says as Sage keeps pushing. Eventually, the sounds of a baby crying were heard throughout the room, which causes Sage to tear up. "Congratulations, it's a boy!" The doctor says as they hand the baby to a nurse, who proceeds to clean him up and wrap him in a blue blanket before handing him to Sage. Sage looks at the baby and gives a tired but proud smile. "Our son," Sage says, tears in her eyes. "Adorable lil boy," Almond says with a smile. Sage starts crying tears of joy when the baby looks up at her and Almond and coos, revealing his green eyes. Eventually Latte Cookie walks into the room with Walnut Cookie, Pecan Cookie, Soy Milk Cookie, and Cream Puff Cookie.

Sage looks over at the group of people who just entered the room. "This is your lil brother," Sage says as the four girls walk over to the bed to see the baby. The baby boy looks at the girls and babbles in excitement. The four girls smile, all of them filled with joy. Latte smiles at the sight, happy to see her children and her best friends and their children happy. The baby then gets fussy, to which Sage brings him up to her chest for him to nurse. After a few minutes, Sage then hands the baby to her husband, who smiles as he looks at his newborn son. The newborn yawns, falling asleep in his father's arms. Everyone else in the room smiles at this, finding it wholesome. Sage looks at her husband curiously. "What should we name him?" Sage asks Almond. "How about Basil Cookie?" Almond suggests, to which Sage smiles. "It's a perfect name," Sage says. "Welcome to the world, Basil Cookie," Almond says to the sleeping baby with a smile.
