Adrien's POV

I'm so excited for tomorrow, because it will be the first time I've had a Valentine!

I don't really know what the whole thing is about, but maybe that's just because I've never really celebrated it.

Of course, I've heard the usual buying chocolate and flowers, stuffed animals, all that, but not why people do it.

Though having a day just to celebrate the love someone feels for another person is really sweet!

And this might actually be a fun day, since there won't be any akumas.

So that's why I'm at the store now, getting y/n's favorite candy.

Camembert too, of course.

I also have something else that I've already got made.

"Psst. Adrien." I hear from my bag.

"What is it Plagg?" I whisper after making sure I'm alone.

"Could you also get me some chocolate chip cookies?"

"Why? You never want stuff like that."

"Well, it's not for me. I wanted to give them to Tikki."

"Ohh, I see. I'll get some."

"Great! I can go see her, right?"

"How about you and her stay in mine or Marinette's locker tomorrow, while we're in class?"

"Ok."

I grin at him and find a small pack of cookies.

After I make my purchases I go outside to where the Gorilla is waiting in the car.

When we get home I go upstairs with my shopping bag, where I run into Felix.

"What do you have there?" He asks, gesturing to my bag.

"Nothing for you."

"Ohh, let me guess. Something cheesy for your girlfriend?"

"If you must know, yes. And the cheese is for your worst nightmare, so you better run along before he wakes up."

Felix's eyes widen and he quickly makes his way to the stairs.

Plagg and I both start laughing as soon as he's gone.

I go into my room as Plagg flies out of my bag, still cracking up.

"Man, I should go in there and scare him while he sleeps sometime!"

"You really should, that would be hiss-tericle!"

"Litter-ally!"

We both laugh again, and I start getting the things out of the grocery bag.

"I'll get you a little bag to put your cookies in, but what about me? Do people usually use bags or wrapping paper? Like at Christmas?" I wonder

"I don't know!"

"I guess I won't put the candy in anything, I got the special kind that already had hearts and stuff anyway."

"Well there ya go. Now will you give me cheese?! I've been waiting this whole time!"

"Right, sorry." I get it out and unwrap it, but have barely gotten it out when he grabs it.

"Jeez, slow down!"

"Why?"

"Well, you might get choked or something!"

He waves me off and continues to eat.

I just laugh and go find a zip bag for the cookies.

When I take it back to my room I ask if he wants to put little hearts on the bag, but for some reason he doesn't like the idea.

The next day as soon as I get to school I'm basically surrounded by couples.

"Adrikins!!" I hear, before being tackled by Chloe.

"Hi Chloe. Would you please not tackle me like that?"

"Whatever Adrikins! Now I need to ask you something!"

Oh boy.

"What is it?"

"Be my Valentine?" She asks, batting her eyelashes.

"Sorry Chlo, I already have a Valentine." I say, shrugging my shoulders and trying to get in the building.

"What!? Who?!"

"It's a secret!"

She makes some angry noises, so I hurry inside.

When I get inside the locker rooms Alya and Nino are in there talking.

"Hey dude!" Nino says.

"Hey guys!"

"So, Adrien. Got a Valentine?" Alya asks.

"Yup."

"Who?"

"Can't say."

"Why not?"

Nino gives me a look over her head that I try to keep from laughing at.

"I just can't!" I say in a regretful tone.

Lucky for me, the bell rings then so we quickly get our things together and rush to class.

After we've gotten seated and are about to start, Marinette bursts in, reminding me to ask her about Tikki when we're finished.

The lesson passes quickly enough, so when we've been dismissed I ask Marinette to come with me to the locker rooms.

"Yeah, I need to ask you something anyway." She says.  before following me to our lockers, where I make sure nobody is around.

"So what were you wanting?"

"You have Tikki with you right?"

"Of course."

"Plagg wants to see her, so I told him I'd ask if you were ok with them hanging out in one of our lockers."

"Oh. Yeah, that's actually what I wanted to ask you about. She's in my bag."

Marinette starts to get her out, so I look in my bag and find Plagg asleep.

"Hey! Wake up, Tikki's here!" I say, poking him.

He wakes up and grabs the cookies and flies out at the same time as Tikki emerges, also holding a bag.

But hers has cheese, not cookies.

"Hi Sugarcube!" Plagg says as I open my locker.

"Hey, Stinky Sock!" Tikki responds before they both zip inside.

I laugh and shut the door, then the bell rings.

Marinette and I go out and make our way to the next class.

It seems to take forever, but finally school has finished for the day so I can go see y/n!

When I go to my locker Marinette is already there waiting.

"I can't get in, and they're not phasing out."

"They're probably asleep."

I open my locker and sure enough, both kwamis are inside sleeping, they must've gotten full because their bags are empty.

"Plagg! Sorry to wake you, but we gotta go!"

"Yeah, Tikki, we need to get going too!" Marinette says.

Neither of them want to awaken, so we just gently pick them up and put them in our bags.

I say goodbye to Marinette and get out as fast as I can.

It feels like the ride home takes forever, but it's probably no longer than usual.

I guess I'm just really excited.

When I get home I quickly gather all my things and transform.

You were in your bedroom waiting, since you expected Cat Noir to be arriving soon after school let out.

Sure enough, not thirty minutes past the time the last bell would have rang, you hear a knock on your balcony door.

You go over and open it, smiling when you see him.

"Hey Kitty!"

"Hi Angel!" He responds, giving you a hug.

"I have a very important question for you!" He says.

"Oh yeah? What is it?" You ask, even though you're pretty sure you know.

He pulls something out of his pocket and holds it out to you.

"Would you be my Meowentine?"

"Only if you'll be mine!" You giggle, taking the small heart shaped box.

"Now I've got you something over here, just a sec!" You say, running over to your desk.

You get the bag you'd set underneath it and bring it over to him.

"Shall we open them together?" He asks.

"We shall!"

You start opening the presents at the same time, and gasp in delight at what you see.

"This is so cute!!" You say simultaneously.

He is gushing over the little plush toy you'd gotten, while you stare at the contents of the box.

A set of those magnetic charms, that when put together look like a heart, with the connecting pieces fitting together like a puzzle.

"We fit purrfectly!" It says.

One side had cat ears, the other a tail.

"Kitty, this is amazing! Where did you find it?!"

"Oh, I had it made. Why, do you want to take it back?"

"No way! I love it! I was just curious because I didn't know cat puns were a normal part of most relationships."

"They should be."

"I agree!" You giggle.

"Oh hey, I also got you this!" He says, getting your favorite candy from his other pocket.

"Thanks! I got you some too, it's in your bag."

"I saw that, much appurreciative!"

You laugh and lean up to kiss him.

"So what do you wanna do now? Go for a stroll? I would take you to the Eiffel, but it'll be completely packed." Cat asks.

"I had some ideas, come on!" You say, walking to your bedroom door.

"We're going  out? What about your parents?"

"Don't worry, they've left for a date, and one of s/n's friends had a little party thing, so we're got the house to ourselves."

"Ooh, fun!"

"Yep! You know what that means?"

"Sure do."

"Dance party!" You say in unison.

Laughing, you both run downstairs and into the kitchen.

You take your phone out and get one of your playlists going, of course containing the three songs you've danced together to before.

"You can detransform, I have Plagg some cheese."

He does, and Plagg immediately mentions the cheese.

"Yep, right here." You say, finding the camembert you'd gotten.

"Thanks!" He says, taking the cheese and leaving to the couch.

"So, I was thinking. You wanna make some cookies?" You ask.

"Absolutely!" Adrien replies.

"Great!" You both start getting out ingredients and pans, with you telling Adrien where to find everything.

You start putting everything in one bowl as Shut up And Dance comes on.

While singing and dancing, you also mix batter together while Adrien scoops it onto the pans.

When you get all the cookies scooped out, you notice he's molded them all into little hearts.

"You are adorably cheesy." You remark.

"I know."

You laugh as you put a pan into the oven.

"Ok, while these cook, we can watch tv or something." You say as you set a timer on your phone, also turning off the music.

"Sounds good. Any ideas?"

"Well, Tangled The Series has an episode about a holiday called Day of Hearts that's basically the same!"

"Purrfect! Better tell Plagg, he sure seems to like it."

"Well of course he does!"

He laughs and follows you to the living room, where you get the show ready.

Plagg was already in there napping on the couch, but wakes him up when you and Adrien sit down together.

"Hey Plagg, we're gonna watch Tangled!" You inform him.

He quickly sits up and watches as you get the episode playing.

You sit cuddled up with Adrien and enjoy the episode, until the timer goes off.

Adrien jumps, making you giggle.

You get up to get the cookies out, then set them down to cool.

"Those smell so good!!" Adrien, who'd followed you, says.

"Right? I love the smell of cookies baking!"

"Me too!"

You grin and start fanning the cookies with your hand.

"Can we eat them now?" He asks.

"They're still hot, we should wait just a minute."

"Ugh!"

"Don't be so impatient! All good things to those who wait." You say and wink.

"Was that a Tangled quote?"

"Maayybe!"

He laughs and puts an arm around your waist.

"You and Plagg. Two peas in a pod!"

"Hey, at least we have good taste!"

"I suppose that's true." He says with a laugh, then leans down to kiss you.

You keep kissing until you hear the front door opening.

You quickly jump apart and each grab a cookie to throw off suspicion.

"What smells so good in here?" Your mother's voice asks.

"Cookies!" You call back.

Your parents and sibling come into the kitchen and you see the surprise on your father's face at seeing Adrien.

"Oh, hello Adrien. What have you two been up to?" Your mother asks.

"Just making cookies! Want some? They're good!" He responds.

"I want one!!" S/n says.

They all come and take some cookies, while you and Adrien slip away.

"Should I leave? You guys probably have stuff to do."

"If you wanna, go ahead. But I wouldn't mind if you stayed."

"Well I know you wouldn't mind, but your dad on the other hand..."

"Right."

"I guess I'll go."

"Aww, ok. Hey, don't forget your stuff!" You say, and both of you run to your room.

"Door open!" Your dad yells out.

Your roll your eyes and continue.

"Ok, here you go. Thanks for my charm, and the candy." You say, handing him the bag with his things.

"Of course! Thank you!"

You grin and kiss him again, then hand him the part of the heart with the tail.

"I like the ears." You say.

"Fine with me, Angel!"

You both go back downstairs and Adrien gets Plagg, then goes to the door and transforms.

"Happy Valentine's Day, my Angel."

"Happy Valentine's Day, my Kitty."
