He pointed to the Toa of Life who rolled his eyes.

"But...why am I there and not back at Terra?"

"We won't go into much detail." Ei smiled. "But to make a long story short. You fight, you work together, you fight, you get laid, you let go of the past and body pain it had."

Kal'tsit blushed.

Turning off the soundproofing spells, (M/N) answered.

"Yeah...I'm awake." He said. "Just woke up actually."

Kal'tsit frowned.

Understandable, they don't know what they had gone through when (M/N) landed in that world and merged with his deceased counterpart. Effectively taking over and becoming the new Doctor.

"...In your world, something wrong happened." Zero explained. "The coffin failed somehow and your Doctor had died."

"Of course..." He smirked. "He did not make it easy on you guys because he preferred to do his own thing."

(M/N) bold, take no shit attitude aggravated her at first.

He ignored her orders, didn't take orders from anybody, did his own thing without care or consideration what the ramifications could be. He challenged her on everything and snuck out to do his own thing.

(M/N) was indeed Abzu from Sumerian legends. Reincarnated into the world of the living once more!

He saw a young woman becoming more than just some mere wallpaper and a bloodthirsty version of himself protecting her and cutting down those that abused their powers.

Beings of great powers, beings that looked like many different people from Vanguardians to individuals like Diego, Grace and many more.

"Interesting."

Shifter Sans noted as his eyes stared at the beings in curiosity before the scene changed.

He saw another world where an alternate version of him was cruelly tossed aside and spat upon for being weak.

And another where he took his revenge seriously.

Another world showed a dragon version of him getting sucked into Union. But this one seemed to be an improvement from the other Union worlds.

"And I'm glad for that."

Spyro said.

Then another one where his counterpart became the strongest person in the world.

Hero or villain.

Another one that made deals because he had nothing left to lose.

"What does one have to lose when they have nothing left?"

Amagi rhetorically asked.

Then he saw a world where a crocodile humanoid was steadily making a name for himself, showing that he was more than what his looks show him to be.

Was that how Ignika recognized him?

She also not having expected to see a short cameo of her dear nephew.

Then another world, where he saw an alternate version of himself gain the powers of dragons from an ancient bygone era.

"Our world."

Visions of a young man on a different planet living a simple life owning a farm.

He saw countless individuals: an alien hybrid, a gunsmith , a dragon faunus, a realm connected to many realms, warriors that fought for justice. And countless others.

And even villain versions of themselves that seem to be even better than the 'heroes' of the world.

Of worlds that held similar tragedies, regardless if this 'Union' was in that world or not.

"Hmm..."

Glimpses they might be, but enough to tell him to be cautious in this new world they were going to.

The air around him grew cold as he processed the information he had just learned."

"It wasn't pleasant." Ignika frowned. "And I saw more than just that."

Members from Union shifted uneasily at that.

"Right!" Goredolf spoke up quickly. "There is no time to lose!"

'Especially right now with how uneasy we all are about that school.' He thought to himself. 'The quicker we solve the mystery, the better.'

"Your mission is to head to this alternate earth, try to find as much information as you can without anyone becoming suspicious of you, and resolve the anomalies that are causing our equipment to go haywire."

"Their very existence is the anomaly."

Proto Salter growled.

The dark version of Proto Arthur having been silent for a long time.

"What's the difference?"
