Frankie could practically see the sorrow, the sadness and all negative emotions.

Except anger.

Now Frankie didn't know why he could so clearly see Jax's emotion. Or why Jax's heart didn't carry anger. All he knew was that he needed to tell Melodie.

Once all the other boys were asleep, Frankie slipped out of bed and grabbed the torch from his bedside table nearly dropping it as his hand twitched. Being as quiet as he could he snuck out the room and turned on his torch. He started to walk down the corridor which seemed to stretch for miles.

Frankie opened the door to the girl's and shone a torch at the nearest bed. A lump under the covers moved in its bed and a mop of brown hair popped out on the pillow. In an eruption of duvet and pillow, a girl of 12 or 13 stood up to the side of the bed.

She had slightly tanned skin with eyes as green as grass. Her long hair was knotted and tangled and she was wearing my little pony pyjamas.

"M-Melodie..." Frankie started looking up at her.
"Yes, Yes I wear pink pj's get over it," She snapped in a quiet whisper. Frankie shook his head and pointed at her hair, "Why do y-you have a bird's n-nest on your head-d?" He asked innocently. He was quickly herded out the room by Queen Bird Nest herself while she fixed her hair one-handedly.

Once she had finished she asked, "Frankie what do you want I need sleep," She said leaning against the wall.
"You k-know the new b-boy? Jax? He was beaten up by B-Billy," He mumbled looking at the floor but then looked up excitedly. "But I h-have the key! We can s-save him!" Melodie quickly quietened him as many of the girls were light sleepers.

She rubbed his head, messing up his hair, grinning softly. "Your smart aren't ya, you little rascal!"

Frankie giggled and quietly ran down the corridor towards the boys room with Melodie by his side.
