How they met:

-Rich was pretty positive he liked girls. Sure some boys were okay looking but it's not like he wanted to date them or anything.

-Then came freshman year. A tall, acne covered, lanky boy who always wore a cardigan. A boy he never knew existed and yet fascinated him so much.

-The way he stuttered, his fluffy dark hair he'd given anything to run his hands through, how easily he got flustered without ever trying.

-That motherfucker right there? Yeah that's who Rich was head over heels for.

-He'd labeled himself as too unpopular for the guy so he decided to get something to fix that.

-Their first proper interaction was when Rich punched Jeremy into a locker.

-Apparently Kermit thought the only way to get popular was to repress Rich's feelings and instead torment the guy he wanted.

-Not cool Kermit.

-And so it went like that for years. It hurt, it hurt like Hell to have to do that but Rich didn't know what else to do.

-When his SQUIP said to offer Jeremy a SQUIP so they could finally be together Rich was ecstatic.

-His heart was crushed when Jeremy only had eyes for Christine.

-When he realized his chase to get Jeremy was hopeless he decided to burn it all.

-Literally, like he set a fire to Jake's house.

-After the play happened and both Jeremy and Rich woke up they spent a lot of time together in the hospital.

-Rich immediately apologized for being such a dick and invited Jeremy to play Xbox.

-Jeremy said yes and they began to hang out.

-Jeremy also found out that Rich was kind of a cool guy. He liked Taylor Swift, and was a hardcore anime watcher, and loved Call of Duty.

-He was kinda dorky, he danced like nobody was watching, and his smile-he had a smile that could light up a room. 

-Both Jeremy and Rich are pinning for a few months before Rich finally decided to ask him out. 

-The way he asked him out was through poetry. He invites Jeremy to a poetry reading and then reads out a poem confessing his love.

-When Rich comes offstage Jeremy is practically crying and Rich is terrified that he did something wrong before Jeremy pulls him into a kiss. 

Random headcannons:

-They never plan dates, they go on them spontaneously. 

-Rich's dates are mostly cuddling and watching corny horror movies. And laughing at how stupid they are. 

-Jeremy likes to go on the rooftop and stargaze. 

-Rich will come over to Jeremy's place in the middle of the night because he misses his boyfriend or because his Dad is having an episode. 

-Every time he does this he sees what's the corniest thing he can say to get Jeremy to open a window.

-Like "Romeo? Romeo? Where art thou my bromeo? Full homeo?"

-Jeremy has a rope ladder attached to his window so Rich can just climb on into his room. 

-Jeremy goes to every single one of Rich's piano/violin concerts and brings him a bouquet of red roses every time. 

-After concerts instead of going to a fancy restaurant they usually go to a fast food place and stay there to 3 am to laugh at drunk people. 

-Whenever either of them have a bad day their 'date' is cuddling on Jeremy's floor and watching reality TV. 

-Rich loves 'Dance Moms' because he can relate too it way too much and Jeremy likes 'Supernanny' cause he and Rich laugh at the kids temper tantrums. 

-Rich calls Jeremy cute-ass anywhere and with no shame. 

-Jeremy gets extremely flustered at nicknames and kissing, but he loves when Rich does it. 

-Their insults are compliments in disguise most of the time. Unless they both really need comfort, then their compliments are the most sincere and poetic things you've ever heard. 

-Rich is a lot more flifty and smooth than Jeremy but he's stilla huge dork.

-"You set a fire in my pants~"

-"Wha-" *Jeremy snorts before double over laughing*

-*Rich blinks before realizing what he said* "oh..." *Bursts out blushing* 

-Rich always lifts Jeremy off the ground when he hugs him. 

-One time Rich jumped on Jeremy's back and they both ended up in a river

-He knows Jer has the strength to hold him up and dammit he's gonna prove it. 

-They'll sit together for hours just talking about how each of them felt with the SQUIP. Usually either one or both of them ends up crying and they cuddle in silence. 

-Rich is always really scared that Jeremy won't love him/trust him because of all the torture he put him through. Jeremy assures him that's in the past 

-They're insomia buds. 

-They'll stay up for an entire day just talking about life and random shit. 

-They always help each other out with scar cream and reminding the other about medical appointments. 

-Rich and Jer have random Taylor Swift dance break outs because any day is better with dance breakouts.

-At school Rich will always run up to Jeremy and lift him up in a huge hug then hold his hand whenever they're together. 

-He will fuck up anyone who messes with his boyfriend. 

-They make it very clear that they're together. Whenever someone tries to flirt with them the other will come up and kiss them. 

-Rich gave Jeremy a blue streak and dyed his own streak pink. 

-Rich, Jeremy and Jenna make the bi flag with their hair streaks. 

-Rich writes really metaphorical and poetic poetry and songs which he preforms  for Jeremy at random moments. 

-In turn Jeremy tries to write poems for Rich, they suck but Rich adores them.

-Rich got Jeremy into anime and they're bingewatching 'Naruto'. 

-Though Rich is usually pretty tough around strangers he'll melt into Jeremy's cuddles. 

-Like anytime is cuddle time for these two. 

-Prom!:

-Jeremy does the asking this time. 

-The boy is sO NERVOUS LIKE "RICH YOU'RE A REALLY COOL GUY CAN YOU COME WITH ME TO PROM OR WHATEVER" and he shoves Rich's favorite chocolates in his face before burying his face in his jacket

-Of course he says yes and jumps on his boyfriend to cover him in kisses

-They end up toppling over and breaking a lunch table 

-They both wear navy tuxes with bright yellow suspenders and bow ties. 

-Rich and Jeremy OWN the dancefloor and don't give two fucks about everyone else. 

-They also get super drunk and makeout alot. 

-The next morning Jeremy wakes up super early (at 12 pm) and he's covered in hickeys and has the worst hangover. 

-But Rich looks really cute sleeping so he decides to be a good boyf and make hangover cures for the both of them.
