Double update!!

Friday evening

The week finished quickly and on Wednesday uncle Jake returned home. In a few minutes I'll be trying out for the football team along with some freshmen.

"You will make the team dude and if you don't you can always join lacrosse, we need people", Nick says, "that goes to you as well freshmen; I need people on the lacrosse team."

"Nick stop trying to get people on your team and hold your own tryouts!" Nathaniel yells.

"Every year since sophomore he always saying this, but I still manage to get five persons from his tryouts", he laughs, "I'll wait, those of you who gets rejected, my team has open spots and you don't have to worry about tryouts. We have teaching sessions from 4:30- 6:00 this evening which continues throughout the weekend up to Tuesday", he whispers.

Most freshmen grins and three step out the line and join him on the bench.

"Nick you didn't even give them a chance!" Nathaniel snaps.

"Well they don't seem confident enough to even tryout and only to get rejected afterwards so why bother tryout at all?!" He yells.

"Whatever."

10 minutes later

It is my turn to tryout and show off my amazing skills.

"I want you to throw this ball to where Brandon is", Nathaniel instructs and points to the touchdown point which is 40 yards away.

I pick up the ball and with a smirk and throw the ball and it goes over Brandon's head and through the post.

"Whoa!" Nick yells.

"Impressive", Nathaniel nods and the coach write down on his clipboard.

"Let's test your speed and dodging skills, just to remind you some of them already have scholarships to great universities", Nathaniel warns.

I nod and Nathaniel hands me a helmet then get into starting position with the ball in front of him and I get into the receiving position behind him.

"36, 49, hike!" He yells and I catch the ball and run down the field.

I dodge most the guys and keep my speed, I see the touchdown point, but Daniel is running full speed towards me. I dodge him just in time and did the touchdown.

"40 seconds, impressive", coach states, "almost beat your record Brandon." He laughs.

"Yeah almost, you're good man", Brandon pats my shoulder.

"And you're only a sophomore right?" Coach asks.

"Yeah, back at my old school I was captain and quarterback", I explain.

"That explains it, is your father Drake Grey by any chance?"

Most people don't know how famous my father was in his junior year in high school when he took his team to the championship game and won."

"Yes", I nod.

"No way, he is my idol", Daniel gaps.

"He's the reason I became captain last year when I went to football camp and came back better than before", Nathaniel adds.

"Not many people know my father or anything about my family and I'll like to keep it that way", I state, "where I used to live everyone knew me because of my parents and family, they expected me to be just like my father and take my team to the regional championship", I explain.

"And here is different? I understand, we will keep this a secret, right team?" Nathaniel states.

"Yes."

"Thanks, I'm surprise no one recognized who I am as soon as I stepped into the school or during this week though", I add.

"This school don't really follow up with famous people kids much, the paparazzi leave them be. Like Jake James, he moved here with his wife about three years back, the first 6 months they were following them then after they left them alone. The paparazzi from here will go New York, LA and other places and come back with the information, but doesn't interfere with people here", Nathaniel explains.

"My parents should move to here then", I joke.

"That means Ashley James Grey is your mother?" Brandon frowns.

"So that means Jake James is your uncle?" Daniel adds.

"Yes and yes, that's why I was surprise no one knew me when I came", I shrug.

"Your family is filthy rich, my father do business with them already", Nathaniel states.

"So I made the team?" I ask.

"Duh, dude. That doesn't mean you are getting my quarterback position though", Nathaniel says sternly.

We all laugh.

"Did you make the team?" Uncle Jake asks me when I enter the house.

"Yes, also I am attending a party tomorrow."

"Your first party here, do you want to borrow my car?"

"Really? You are leading me your car?"

"Why not? You are old enough to drive", he shrugs,"plus I know you wouldn't get drunk."

"Yeah, mom would kill me if I ever did before 18", I chuckle.

"I'l be here tomorrow, Vanessa has to work", he explains.

"Cool, I'll be back before 1."

"You better or sleep in the car", he jokes.

"My mother will take the family's private jet quicker than  think to here and give you a beating for letting her child sleep outside in an uncomfortable car", I state.

"Knowing my sister, I wouldn't doubt that at all."

We both laugh.

"We're back look what aunty brought me!" Ally yells coming into the house with two shopping bags in her hands.

"Don't you have enough clothes?" I sigh.

She gasps,"there is no such thing as too much clothes. Besides its a scarf and a pretty shoes."

"Whatever."

She goes upstairs in her room with her bags while aunty Vanessa greets uncle Jake with a kiss.

"Hey honey, guess what?" She smiles.

"What?" He smiles up at her.

"I don't have to work tomorrow night, one of my colleagues decided she wanted to do a double shift so I don't have to go until Monday or unless I get an emergency call on Sunday", she grins.

"That's great, maybe we can go out tomorrow night on a date night", uncle suggests.

"What about Ally? Isn't her friend coming over to sleep?" She frowns.

"Well we can switch it, Ally will stay at her friend's instead and next weekend she will come here", he shrugs.

"I'll go tell her then and tonight you're making dinner", she adds and go upstairs.

"The things you do when you are in love", uncle Jake smiles with a sigh,"when you fall in love, you'll know what I am talking about", he turns to me.

"I don't think I am going to anytime soon, I'm only sixteen."

"Well I been in love with Vanessa since we were in elementary school, haven't started to date till senior year of high school, broke up during freshman college and got back together after she finished medical school", he explains.

"Whoa, mom didn't tell me about that part. She just told me about when she went in disguise to spy on you at some party you went with great grandpa Bill."

"Yeah, that's when I hurt Vanessa badly", he says with regret.

"Didn't you date a woman  named Linda Clark?"

"Yea, she was so damn clingy", he laughs.

"Yeah, mom told me and so did uncle Jared", I nod.

"I was so happy Vanessa decided to give us another chance when she came back, I waited on her for so long and it turned out great in the end with three successful kids."

I nod and take a walk outside.

Next day

7:00 pm

"We're going out  on our date night, here are the keys", uncle Jake throws his keys to me.

"Are you sure Jake? You know how much the ca-"

"I trust him honey, we have an understanding right Sebastian?"

"Yes and be back before 1", I add.

"I'll leave the door unlock for you, if by 1 you aren't here. I'm locking it", he says seriously.

"I know, I'll text if I am staying at the house where the party is held."

He nods and they leave.

Amanda texts me,

Amanda: party starts at 8, we're leaving home about 7:40. Do you want to catch up with us so you'll know where you are going?

Me: Yes. 

Amanda: Meet us at the cafe we went a few days back at 7:40, you driving?

Me: Yes, need a ride?

Amanda: Well, I was going with Brandon and Lily, but since you will be alone in the vehicle I will just ride along with you

Me: Okay, see you in 40 mins 

Amanda: Yep

What to eat for the time being?
