Lucy's POV

"Do you still hate me?"

Those words rung through my head. I opened my mouth to say 'of course I do!' But no words came out.

"B-Baka! Baka! Baka!" I yelled hanging my held low.

"What!"

"It's was an accident!!" I yelped out. I looked up to him smirking at me. His eyes were half closed and the smiled was just so sexy.. I mean ah .

"Well that's not what you lips were saying" he wiggled his eye brows at me.

I blushed a deep red than turned heel running. "Lucy wait!!" I kept running.'    
        
What's his deal? Kissing me like that! And I kissed him back! Not only did I kiss him but I wrapped my arms around his neck' I mentally nosebleed for a moment.

"Lucy!"

A hand captured me causing me to stop. "Nani!" I yelled to him and he looked taken back. "Why did you run?

I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe. "Let's talk in the room, people are staring." I grabbed his hand and led him inside.

Once we got to the room I sat on the bed and he sat down next to me.

"Natsu.."

He looked me in the eyes. "What is it Luce?"

The nickname stung. "I'm just not ready to accept my feeling yet..." I don't know why but it hurts so much.

"I see.." He slowly stood up and walked over to the couch. "Well tomorrow we have one more meeting then we get on the plane. After that you won't have to worry about seeing me anymore." When he spills those words he looked so dejected.

"Natsu.." I whispered.

"Just forget about Lucy." He grabbed a towel then went into the bathroom. I laid back on the bed staring up to the ceiling.

'Why...' I asked my self. 'Why is it so hard when it come to you.. Natsu.' I slowly pulled the covers over my face and cried silently underneath.

Natsu's POV

I stood in the hot shower thinking about everything. The hot water staining my back pink from the hot temperatures.

'Why did I ever try?' I thought. 'Why did I kiss her?' Another thought popped up as soon as I thought that.

'Because you love her'

I sighed and grabbed a shampoo. 'Why'd she kiss me back if she doesn't even like me?'

I sniffed the air. "Vanilla?" I asked as I looked towards the shampoo bottle. It was Lucy's. "Damn it, now I smell like a chick."

I sniffed the air again. "But it sure does smell nice" I smiled softly and continued to wash my spikes and body. 'Lucy you kill my soul' I turned off the water and grabbed a towel. I pulled on my boxers and wrapped the towel around my neck.

I looked at the monster in the mirror then slowly turned off the light leaving the room.

When i walked into the main room I could hear the muffled sounds of light crying. 'Why cry Lucy?' I wondered. I slowly walked towards to the couch and sat down, grabbing my phone.

"Yes this is he, yes, my suit? Black, light pink dress shirt and a red tie. Will that be all? Okay have a nice day" I hung up and laid back against the couch. It had stiffened again.

Well Lucy did say I could sleep in the bed..'

I slowly crept over to the other side of the muffles and sat down. They stopped as soon as I did so. "Is it still okay if I lay here?" "Unh" I heard softly.

I slowly pulled the covers up and crawled under. I faced Lucy who I could tell eyes we're closed and looked a bit wet. I reached my hand near her face a wiped away the tears. Her eyes opened widely and looked into my eyes.

"No need to cry Lucy, I'm not worried about it"

I showed a small smile than turned to my other side. I released a soft sighs and closed my eyes.

'This is the last time I'll sleep near her again'

Lucys POV

It had took forever, but I finally fell asleep. I ended up waking up around 3am. My body felt really hot.

'Am I running a fever'

I thought, but when I tried to sit up I realized I was being held down.

I looked over to Natsu who arms were wrapped around my waist tightly. I focused on his face. His eyebrows were stitched together as if he were in pain.

"No.." I tilted my head slightly. "Don't leave me alone.." My eyes soften.

"Mom.. Dad" I softly ran my fingers threw his hair. "Lucy..I'm...I'm sorry" My mouth was slightly agape and I felt the tears verging to fall.

"Natsu" I whimpered.

I laid my down and snuggled into him. 'I'll miss your warm embrace Natsu' I closed my eyes and placed my hand and face against his chest. 'But I think I'll really miss you Natsu...'

I slowly drifted off into sleep.

"Lucy.. Lucy wake up" I groaned and slowly emerged from the covers. I noticed Natsu's hands on my shoulders and the totally noticeable fact over my legs intertwined with his.

I blushed a dark shade of pink and pulled my self away. "I'm sorry" I whispered as I got out of bed. "It's alright" he whispered back.

"Oh yea, Mr. Patterson said to bring a our bags. The cars takin straight to the airport."

I nodded and jumped into the shower I dressed my self in dress slacks and a nice blouse then packed the rest of my things. "The cars here!" I heard Natsu yell. "Coming!" I called back and slowly walked out the room.

The car ride was awkward, the meetings were long and jet was nauseating.

We were sitting in the car on our way to my mansion. I kept recalling the meeting

"Thank you for this awesome opportunity." I smiled as I shook the dealers hands. "You better invite me to that wedding 'Mrs. Dragneel'" said Mr. Patterson. I silently cringed but pulled a smile.  

I sighed then looked out the window. We were approaching the house. The car came to a stop and I excused my self. Natsu helped me get my things out but as I started walking towards my home I heard Natsu arguing with the driver.

"Lucy?"

I turned around to see him with his things. "Can I call a cab?" I nodded and continued walking towards the house.

When I unlocked the door I was greeted by Happy who arrived earlier this morning and Virgo.

"Welcome home princess" I smiled "Hello Virgo" "Mr.Dragneel?" She gave me a questioning face but I just shook my head.

"Natsu the phones over there" I pointed towards the wall.

"Hey Virgo been along time huh?" Natsu asked. "Yes young sir you sure have grown" she replied and made her way to my things. "I'll take care of this ma'am." "Thank you" "oh princess your dress for the banquet is on the table."
       
I decided to go look at it. I pulled it out of its casing and looked at the light pink Fabric. "It's beautiful" I jumped alittle as Natsu's voice came into the room. "Yes I think so too" "It's for the banquet right?" I nodded my head in response.

"I bet you'll have everyone attention" A tiny blush went to the corners of my cheeks.

"Do you mind if I walk around the garden?" "Oh yea sure" he started to walked away but stopped.

"Will you accompany me?"

I gulped slightly but walked over to him. When we walked out it was very silent yet calming. Neither of us said a word. As we neared the willow tree his eyes kind of lite up and he went to sit beside it's trunk. I made my over near him and sat down.

"Man it's been a long time huh?" "Yea, it sure has" I agreed.

I heard him chucked slightly. "It weird, remember how we used to play here when we were little?" I smiled and nodded. "Yup I was a princess" "and I refused to be a prince cuz dragons were cooler" we both laughed.

Silence filled the air again. "There were a lot of good memories here but it's so quiet now" "yes but I can't seem to bring my self to sell the place." He nodded in acknowledgement.

"This was also the first time.."

I felt his hand brush against mine before holding it lightly. Instead of pulling away I gave a small squeeze back.

He lightly kissed my cheek.

He slowly stood up and started to walk away.

"Goodbye Lucy"

"Natsu.."
