I obviously fell asleep too at some point because I woke up and it was still dark out. 4:18 am. I was in bed, but it wasn't my bed. The blue blanket told me that I was sleeping in Alexander's bed. I sat up and looked around.

That's when I heard it, the clicks of the keys on Alexander's laptop. "Alex?" I asked groggily.

The typing stopped. "Yeah?"

"Why are you up at four in the morning?" I asked before adding, "And why am I in your bed?"

"I have to finish my work," he said, "And I couldn't carry you the whole way to your bed."

I smiled and flopped back down. "You could've just woken me up."

"I tried."

"Okay."

I fell back asleep. Without bothering to move to my bed.

I opened my eyes and there was light coming through the window. "Yeah, I have two sisters that go here." I heard Peggy say.

"Oh, that's cool, I don't have any siblings." I heard Alexander's voice.

"If John doesn't wake up soon his coffee will be cold."

"Yeah, he's been asleep for a long time."

"So, Alex, how do you like Roosevelt?"

"I love it, and I had a slushie last night." He paused, "Thanks to John."

Peggy laughed.

I sat up and saw Alex and Peggy sat on the carpet next to me, drinking coffee.

"John," Peggy started, "I came to see if you wanted to go get coffee but Alex answered the door because you were still sleeping so I asked him if he wanted coffee." She held out a cup, "Black, the way you like it."

I took the cup and gladly took a sip, it was still warm. "Thanks Peggy,"

"You're welcome," she stood up, "wanna go for a walk?"

I got out of Alex's bed and pulled on my sneakers, "Yeah,"

"Alex, wanna come with us?" asked Peggy.

He blinked a few times, "Oh, I have a lot of work to do so,"

I rolled my eyes, "C'mon Alex, it's Saturday!"

Peggy nodded vigorously in agreement, "Yeah, take a break!"

He sighed and got up, shoving his feet into his sneakers, "Okay, okay."

Peggy jumped in approval, "Yay!" she took off towards the door, "Lets go!"

We had all finished our coffee and were just walking through the courtyard back towards the dorm when Peggy spotted her sisters under a tree.

She gasped, "Angelica! Eliza!" she called to them.

They both looked up and waved, smiling at their youngest sister.

"We're heading back to John's dorm!" she pointed towards the building, "Come with us!"

I didn't stop Peggy from inviting people over because I loved when she was happy. The two girls got up from their spot and walked over to us, "Who's this?" Angelica asked, pointing at Alex.

Before Peggy or I could introduce him Alex spoke up for the first time since we left the dorm, "Alexander," he stuck his hand out for Angelica and she shook his hand. He did the same to Eliza, who looked dumbstruck.

"I'm Angelica, and this is my sister Eliza, I guess you've already met Peggy," Angelica said striking up conversation with the kid.

Alex just nodded in agreement.

We got back to the dorm and I swung the door open to reveal Lafayette and Hercules already on the carpet, eating the leftover gummy worms, "Really guys?" I asked as everyone filed in behind me.

They looked up and Lafayette smiled sheepishly, "Sorry mon amie, " he said, they just looked so good."

I rolled my eyes and picked up the unopened bag of Doritos from the previous night. I pulled it open and tossed it to Hercules. I grabbed my laptop and turned on Netflix.

Lafayette sighed when he got some of the chips, "Oh, je t'aime, Laurens."

The girls laughed at him and Angelica and Peggy sat on the carpet with the boys. Eliza followed Alexander over to the desk and sat in the chair next to him. Alex began typing away again and Eliza just watched.

I put the laptop on the TV stand and let one of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies start playing.

Every now and again I'd hear Alex and Eliza laugh at something but I ignored it.

Halfway through the movie Peggy was leaning up against me and I took her hand, entwining our fingers together. We stayed like that until after everyone left the dorm to go out for lunch.

I had been sitting with Peggy laughing at things she was showing me on her phone when I heard something hit the desk, hard. Peggy and I both jumped and I stood up, looking over at the desk that was illuminated by Alexander's laptop. Alex was slumped over in his chair, his head on the desktop.

"Alex!" I rushed over to him and let out a sigh of relief when I realised he was just sleeping. "Oh, thank God."  I said, picking him up off of the wooden chair and carrying him over to his bed, laying him down.

"God, the poor kid," said Peggy, "Its like ten o'clock, has he been working all day?"

I nodded and laughed, "Yeah. He's kind of a perfectionist," I said.

"I'm gonna head over to my dorm, okay? I really tired."

"Just stay here," I said grabbing her hand again.

She smiled, "Okay," she said letting me lead he over to my bed and climbing in with me, falling asleep quickly but not before getting out a small, "Thanks."
