This is the OC that I usually send to people for OC reviews lol.

Name: Sentinel
Age: 20
Gender: male
Sexuality: straight
Tribe: NightWing

Abilities: just normal NightWing abilities, no moon powers. He also has a strong sense of smell and like the other NightWings on the volcano, he has a "venomous" bite (I don't know how to describe the bacteria saliva thing from Starflights book lol).

Relationship status: a single pringle that's not ready to mingle

Occupation: was a guard when he still lived on the volcano, but decided to become a trader about 5 or 6 years after the NightWings moved to the rainforest.

Physical appearance:
He has dull rasin purple scales and his underbelly is a slightly lighter shade of that. His horns and claws are black while the spines on his back are the same color of his scales. His eyes are a dark emerald green. He has a scar across his snout and two small ones on his neck and three small scars close together on his underbelly.
Sentinel is a tall and scrawny dragon, years of malnourishment at the volcano is the reason for his scrawniness. He has rough talons from years of walking on the sharp rocks of the volcano and a whip thin tail. 

Personality:
Strengths: he's fiercely loyal to his tribe. Dedicated, kind to his friends, smart, and resourceful.

Flaws: he is usually rude and inconsiderate to the other tribes, kind of fears fire and won't breathe it. Underestimates others. It takes awhile for dragons who aren't NightWings to befriend him and very few even try to.

Backstory:
Sentinel was hatched at the volcano into a family of guards. Both of his parents were, and they expected him to be one, hence why they chose the name Sentinel. His relationship with his parents is a very caring one. With NightWing dragonets being scarce at the volcano, his parents were just thankful he existed. And they tried their best to be loving parents even when they got into fights like most family's do. Oddly enough they all bonded the most over battle training. They found it to be a way they spend time together and temporarily forget about the troubles of the volcano.

Sentinel's time on the volcano effected his personality negatively, much like it did with the rest of the tribe. He resented the other tribes (especially IceWings for obvious reasons lol) for being fortunate enough to live on the mainland. The smoke gave him some breathing problems, he runs out of breath quickly on his travels and has to rest a lot. The volcano eruption traumatized him into getting nightmares about him, his friends and family dying from the eruption almost every night. And he's scared to be around large amounts of fire (things like bonfires).

Ever since escaping the volcano, his regard for the other tribes started to change, he respected Glory enough to try to be nice(ish) to the RainWings, even though he wants to bang his head against a rock after he has a conversation with one. And he was tempted to go out and explore Pyrrhia and meet the other tribes since he wasn't permitted to at the volcano. When Darkstalker went to the rainforest he, like everyone else, was under the spell that made him trust Darkstalker. But he was still terrified when he first saw him, and when the NightWings were given the choice to either go to the old NightWing kingdom or stay in the rainforest, he decided to remain in the rainforest. A few years after the Darkstalker event, Sentinel got the idea to become a trader when he was exploring the rainforest and he realized that the other tribes pretty much never go to the rainforest and probably don't have anything from it and he could use that to his advantage to get some treasure, along with other things he'd otherwise never have an opportunity to get. So with Queen Glory's permission he started his trading business. But first he had to get stuff that other dragons would actually trade stuff for. Sentinel, with the help of his family and friends, gathered many things like exotic bird feathers, coffee beans (cause dragons need coffee!!), herbs, he even had toxic frogs in jars, and a few RainWings gave him some sleeping darts and guns that he could trade (he had more stuff but I'm too lazy to list it all). It wasn't much at first, but is was a start. The first place he went to was the Scorpion Den, mostly because it was the closest place to go to. The SandWings were surprised to see him to say the least. Many were hostile towards him, but many were also open minded and gave his wares a look. He was actually pretty successful there. The SandWings liked the sleeping darts and blowguns the most, and they traded him all kinds of desert related stuff and sometimes gold and gems to him if they had nothing else to trade. And that's what kicked off his trade business. Now he trades things from all of the tribes (except IceWings for obvious reasons).
