Appearance: "I look perfectly normal!" she said, a little too quickly. (Media is her mega form.)
Moves: "Shadow Ball, Psychic, Heal Pulse, and Teleport."
Ability: "Synchronize," she responded.

Eclipse is a descendant of the Gardevoir that saved the night. The Gardevoir were known as Luni, though Eclipse herself is occasionally called 'the Moons Essence'.

Solgaleo had attacked Lunala, almost killing her. Two Pokémon, a Gardevoir and a Gallade, retaliated, and defeated Solgaleo. With a combined Heal Pulse, the two Pokémon sacrificed themselves for Lunala.

Lunala, recognizing their sacrifice, blessed their single child.

The blessing made the child an emissary of Lunala. He could easily communicate with Lunala, should the legendary choose, and he was strengthened by the night. His powers were weakened at day, however, and he can't mega evolve then.

And finally... when he mega evolved, he bore a resemblance to the Moone Pokemon.

He passed the gift down in his family, until Eclipse was born. She is currently the only Luni alive.

Eclipse, truly, did nothing but be a descendant of the Luni to gain her title. She often pushes it away, insisting on being called Eclipse, but often to no avail.

Eclipse is vey sweet and doesn't like to see her friends hurt, which is why she hasn't replaced Heal Pulse with an attacking move.

Eclipse is quite shy and tries to keep her status a secret, but she often lets it slip. She relies on Lunala for advice, and doesn't like to fight.
