When she was one year old, her parents became evil. They tried to influence her to be evil as well, but she had developed her own moral code from her friends. When she was a year older, she ran, vowing to stop any Pokémon like her parents.

Ever since she was two, she lived on her own. Traveling across her region, she fought evil doers, and gained the nickname 'the Shadows Luninary'.

A Dusknoir and two of his lackeys plotted to take her down, or at least debilitate her. His two lackeys taunted her when she was near, so that she would overhear, making her cocky and less aware.

The Dusknoir heard her as she was coming and cursed her. She could be dragged into the spirit world at any moment, and the ghosts there can harm her if they choose.

It's only her mind that goes, but her fake body that exists in the plane of existence that is the Spirit World can be injured, and a part of her curse is that her injuries will be with her when she returns.

The first time she went in, she was alone, but she came back with another inside her. A malicious ghost known as Naomi.

Ixia didn't know Naomi existed until she was fully possessed by the ghost. Soon enough, she took control again, but Naomi would always be there. She always has two looming dangers; being possessed by Naomi, or being dragged to the Spirit World.

Naomi tends to wait until Ixias mind is weak, when she is pushed to the brink of emotional instability. Then, Naomi is free to take control. However, she will occasionally control Ixia while she's passed out and in the Spirit World.

Ixia is quite kind, though will fight fiercely to protect her friends.

Naomi has a sweet and shy act, but is ruthless. She aims to take control of Ixia fully, and live a life again, and again, and again, for the curse will be passed down.

Whether it's Naomi or another ghost, all it takes to be possessed is visiting the Spirit World.

So be careful how far you wander to follow a Dusknoir...

For you may not come back alone.
