Luckily, I had just enough space to put all the panels in this chapter. I'm going to show all the pictures first and then I'll explain what's happening.

Okie dokie! Time for explanations!

The comic starts off with Aina. She is worked to the bone everyday for when the time comes she has to become queen. She tries hard for her parent's sake but she doesn't feel happy and slowly goes into a depression.

It all changes when she meets the son of one of the servants, Elex. The two started to talk, quickly becoming friends and soon enough lovers. They had to keep their relationship a secret as Ieuan was very against her being in a relationship as it would distract her from her royal duties.

For awhile, they were happy together but that all changed when Aina became pregnant. When Ieuan found out, he was absolutely furious. Even Pandora was upset that their daughter had become pregnant at such a young age and gave Ieuan permission to punish Elex however he wanted.

Ieuan confronted Elex with Aina in tow and then banned him from the castle, saying he's lucky he didn't have him executed for treason.

Elex snuck back to the castle later that night and went to Aina's balcony where she waited for him. Aina knew that if they continued the relationship, Elex would most likely be killed or worse for what he had done.

It was then and there she ended their relationship, stating that the scandal had to be kept out of the public's eye and that their unborn children would be raised within the castle's walls, without their father.

Elex tried to get her to reconsider but she made up her mind, saying that this was to keep him safe and left him at the balcony, crying.

Months later, Aina gave birth to three healthy kittens. She was delighted to be a mother but was deeply saddened that they would never get the chance to meet their father.

Meanwhile, Elex was suffering from depression and spent a long time sulking. One day, he suddenly snapped and the sadness was replaced by anger.

All the anger he felt was towards Ieuan. It was his fault he couldn't see Aina or his children and he was going to make sure the king payed for the suffering he caused him.

He met with a cloaked stoat who specialised in illegal potions and witchcraft. She gave him a vile of strange black liquid and told him it would help him get his revenge on Ieuan.

The next day, Elex came to the castle, saying he wanted to talk to Ieuan. The king had reluctantly allowing him in and led him to a room where they could talk in private. While he was busy making Elex tea, the tom dumped the black liquid into the king's tea.

They stayed in silence for a bit before Ieuan suddenly apologised, surprising Elex. He explained that he was being irrational and that he finally saw the error of his ways when his grandchildren were born.

He told Elex that seeing how much Aina missed him made him realise that she needed him and that the kittens needed their father. He then smiled at Elex and welcomed him warmly into his family, stating that he'd be a good king in the future.

It was at that moment that Ieuan took a drink of his tea and Elex was too late to stop him. Ieuan immediately starting coughing and hacking as if he were choking and fell to the ground.

Panicked, Elex went to the king's side and asked him if he was alright. What started out as quiet chuckling turned into howling laughter as Ieuan shakily pulled himself off the ground. The warm and friendly face Elex once knew was replaced by one full of insanity and evil.

It was then Elex realised just what he had done.

He created a monster.

Hooo boy! That was... oof.

Of course I had to make it all happy and then ruin it. I just love to make my characters suffer. This idea is more so a concept so don't expect it to be canon in Guardian.
