'Claire, how are you doing? I have been waiting for you.' Claire is surprised. She is in a weird land, and she is talking to a lady in a princess dress, a white, princess dress.

'Me? You have been waiting for me? Where am I?' she asks looking very confused. 'You are exactly where you are supposed to be. Everyone is waiting for you, Claire.', the lady in princess dress says.

'Everyone?' Claire asks.

'Yes, everyone.' the lady in princess dress replies.

Claire is surprised, 'But, who are you?'

'I will tell you later. Let's go inside.' The lady in princess dress leads Claire to a huge castle. They both walk in. Claire takes her time to observe.

'Whoa! Beautiful. How is the inside finer than the outside?', Claire asks, but to no one in particular. The lady in princess dress chuckles.

'Like what you see? You can stay here forever if you want.', the lady in princess dress says to Claire.

'Really?', Claire asks.

'Yes,' the lady in princess dress says, 'you see that door over there?' Claire nods, and the lady in princess dress continues, 'That door leads to a big hall, a big dining hall. Made specially for chosen ones. Special children ... like you. Once you enter in there, you can stay here forever.'

Claire is happy, but something is bothering her. She shares it with the lady in princess dress, 'What of my mummy? Can she come too?'

The lady in princess dress doesn't reply, but puts on a disappointing face.

'Claire! Claire!', someone shouts her name. She turns to the voice. At the far end of the living room is her mummy shouting her name.

'Mummy, come here. Let's go into the big hall together.', Claire says, but her mummy doesn't move. Instead, she keeps calling Claire, 'Claire! Claire!'

'Sorry, Claire. Your mummy cannot stay with us.', the lady in princess dress finally says, 'We have to go without her.'

'Claire! Claire!', mummy keeps calling.

'But my mummy. I want to stay with my mummy.', Claire cries.

'No, Claire, you have to choose between me or your mummy.', the lady in princess dress says.

'Claire! Claire!', mummy keeps calling.

'I choose my mummy. I want my mummy.', Claire says, amidst tears.

'Alright then. You have made your decision. Now help yourself, for with every decision made, there is a price to pay.', the lady in princess dress says, and turns her back.

'Claire! Claire!', mummy keeps calling.

'I'm coming, mum.', she says. She turns to the lady in princess dress and asks, 'But may I know your name, please?'

'I'm sorry, I cannot help you anymore.', the lady in princess dress turns, and starts walking. She approaches the door that leads to the big hall, turns, and says, 'Whenever you are ready to join me, I will tell you everything, and only everything, that you need to know. If you ever need anything, you know where to find me.' She opens the door, walks inside, and closes the door.

'I ... I don't know where to find you.', Claire says, but the lady in princess dress is already gone.

'Claire! Claire!', mummy keeps calling.

'I'm coming, mummy.', Claire says, and runs to the direction of her mother. But the more she comes closer, the farther her mummy looks. Claire increases her pace. But the faster she goes, the slower she seems to go.

'Claire! Claire!', mummy keeps calling.

'Mummy, I'm coming.', but Claire isn't so sure she could get close to her mummy.

'Claire! Claire!', mummy keeps calling.

'Mummy!!!!', Claire shouts on top of her voice. She keeps running, but she isn't getting any closer.

'Claire! Claire!'
