Edwards POV
"Hey Bells" I said walking up to Bella. It was Tuesday and we were in the school parking lot. "Hey." She said, eyeing my silver Volvo. "That really is a nice car." She said. "I've had better" I said, showing off. "Oh really?" Bella asked. "Yeah" I said.
"Hey Edward, do you have a second?" Rosalie asked. "Yeah" I said walking towards her. "Really? Isabella Swan?" Rosalie asked once we were out of vampire earshot. "I'm afraid I don't understand" I said, even though I knew exactly what she meant. "You could have had Tanya, a normal vampire, but you had to choose a weird one with all sorts of powers." "Now hang on. We don't know that she has multiple powers." I said defensively. "Oh please" she muttered "if your done then I'm going back." I said, turning to the school and racing to Bella. "What was that about?" She asked "nothing" I muttered. "She doesn't like me." She said, a statement, not a question. "Of course she li..." "DONT LIE TO ME" she shrieked. "I'm sorry" I said pulling her into a hug. I heard Emmet snickering behind us and Rosalie sighing but I didn't care. I carefully lifted her chin to land a soft kiss on her lips. "Bella?" "Yeah?" "Will you go on a date with me?" I asked, afraid she'd say no "yes" she whispered.
Bella's POV
The teacher was droning on about the square route of something but my mind wandered to the date I was going on with Edward later. The bell rang but I didn't notice until I felt Edwards soft hand on my arm. I shook my head and got up. I almost collapsed. I held my breath. "So. Thirsty." I muttered, Edwards arms around my waist. Edward picked me up and raced to the woods.
I caught a mountain lion and an elk and I felt better. "Let's go to my house." Edward said "ok" I said, feeling refreshed.
We got to Edwards house and found Esme in the living room. "Bella." She said "I need you to tell us something" "um... sure. Anything Esme." I said. "It's not that we don't trust you but, could you tell us your powers?" Esme asked. "Sure" I said "Bella." Edward said. "You don't need to..." I didn't let him finish. "No." I said "I do need to do this" I turned to Esme "thank you." Esme said. I nodded. "I can read minds, like Edward, I can shape shift into any animal, I can disguise my scent with the scents around me, I can radiate lightning off my skin, I can burn like an open flame, control the elements, I can control my thirst for blood like no other vampire, I can control emotions, I can see the future, I absorb the powers around me, and I am part werewolf" I said simply, listing my powers. "You are one dangerous vampire." Emmett said from across the room. I turned and ,jokingly, growled at him. "I'm so scared of the little vampire!" Emmett said jokingly. I lunged at him and started tickling him. He collapsed into a fit of giggles. I got up and started running for my life. I finally lost him. It wasn't exactly fair. I did turn into an eagle. But I won! I was walking through a forest when I came across a cat with electric blue eyes. They were actually as stunning as mine. It was a rosy red and a dark black color. I picked it up. It was the same temperature as me and didn't smell of blood. It smelled. Like a vampire? Someone turned a poor innocent cat into a vampire! I disgusted me. Non the less I brought it home. "What is that?" Edward asked. "A vampire cat. I-I think." I said, setting it down. "What are you going to do with it?" He asked. "I'm going to keep it!" I said. "Ok. Than I'll keep it with you." He said. "What?" I asked. "Well, you can't leave it home alone with Charlie." Edward said. I threw my arms around his neck and hugged him. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" I said. His arms wrapped around my waist and he hugged me back. "For you my dear, anything."
