Blizzardpaw is a very calm and fair cat, born in leaf-bare, however his gentle attitude is widely frowned upon by his impulsive clan, ShadowClan. Although he was forced to become a warrior apprentice, he much prefers learning about herbs when he gets the chance to sneak into the medicine cat den and talk to Lightstripe, who promises that one day when they have a less violent and corrupt leader she will ensure he becomes a great medicine cat. He struggles to get along with others due to their fairly vicious and violent nature, and usually spends his time alone wandering the territory and observing the nature.
