Phoenix's POV

     My vision, this was the main part of my vision. I feel like I need the throw up after this discovery and by the looks of it so do dad and Amator. While Lucifer and his parents are celebrating I slip away to the bathroom before my emotions get the better of me. I'm only in there for a few seconds when I hear a small knock on the door and a whisper of, "Phoenix?"

  I immediately open the door and let Amator in. At this point I can't hold it any longer I burst into tears and his arms quickly come to comfort me in the form of a hug. His touch almost immediately starts to calm me. Once I'm calmed down he starts talking, "I know I shouldn't be in here right now especially since my cousin is now a Fae Enforcer, but I had to make sure you were alright. This is probably the last time that we get to speak to each other like this. We have to be more careful than ever."

As I'm holding back more tears I respond, "I know."

It takes me a second to realize that last part of the conversation was another part of my vision.

But before I can tell my discovery to him he continues to speak words that weren't part of my vision.

   "I-if this is one of the last times we'll be able to talk like this for a long while; t-there is something I want to do f-first." He spoke nervously stuttering and rubbing the back of his neck.

  "And what's that?" I asked concerned. I understand that his cousin being a Fae Enforcer was nerve-racking because I'm pretty shaken up too but I don't understand why he's feels like a different kind of nervousness.

  He looked me in the eye then his eyes drifted down to my lips and determination set into his eyes.

  "This." He said confidently as his hands cupped my face and his lips crashed with mine.

  My body seemed ahead of my brain because my eyes shut and I immediately responded while my brain was still in shock. The kiss started sudden and desperate, but morphed into gentle and loving. A whole zoo of both fae and normal animals ran loose in my stomach, sparks and explosions erupted in my mind, it felt like a bridge formed between our minds. Unfortunately the kiss ended just as quickly as it started. Amator kissed my forehead and I heard his voice say, "You don't know how long I wanted to do that."  The strange thing was his lips didn't move.

  "What did you just say?" I asked kinda breathlessly. He looked confused as he responded, "I didn't say anything."

  "You just said, 'you don't know how long I wanted to do that', didn't you?" I asked.

   "No, but I thought 'Phoenix, you don't know how long I wanted to do that'," he told me. Realization dawned in both our eyes as we realized he directed the thought at me.

  "Let me try and see if what I think just happened happened." I said then thought "Amator, can you hear me?"

  "Yes," he responded out loud, "Yes, I can hear you."

  I've heard about this type of thing before if two amor aeternus have mental fae powers or a parent which had those powers the two might be able to communicate telepathically. Mental powers include everything from psychic powers to telekinesis to dream jumping to mind reading. Our kiss must have connected us.

   "Amator, this means that we can be careful and still communicate with each other." I thought with a smile which he returned. This moment started out bitter, but ended slightly sweet.
