A fifteen year-old boy shot and killed two students. Before the shooting the murderer went to the band room, making sure his friends were safe before heading to the common area to begin shooting. Witnesses said his face held no emotion during the ordeal. He then discarded the gun and joined some students hiding, but one of them recognized him to be the shooter and police were able to apprehend him. The shooter even reportedly called his Mother to let her know there was a shooting going on, but he played the victim. Eighteen people ended up getting injured in the mass hysteria. The motive given for the shooting was that the kid was preforming a social experiment to see how people and society would react.

Died at the scene. She was able to call her Mother before she passed, but was unable to say anything.

Preston Ryan Cope, 15

Died later at the medical center. His parents were able to see him.
