Nandini had woken up after a few hours, she was overjoyed to know that she had a son.

Nandhini had been rocking the baby's cradle when Karikalan entered the chamber.

"Nandhini, what is my son doing?" Asked Karikalan with enthusiasm. Nandini rolled her eyes and resumed rocking.

Karikalan came near the cradle and tried to touch his son. But before he could do so, Nandhini took the child from the cradle into her arms.

" Why did you take him?"Karikalan frowned as he stood in front of Nandhini.

"That's my wish, I am his mother." Replied Nandhini Coldly.

Karikalan sighed, " Even I wish to carry him, give him to me for some time." Requested karikalan as he stretched his hands towards Nandhini.

Nandhini turned back, " No, I won't." Reply Nandhini.

"Please, Nandhini." Requested karikalan.

Nandhini didn't listen to his pleas and rolled her eyes.

" Give him to me, he is my son too!" Told Karikalan finally losing his temper.

"Oh, is that so? Well you can have your son with the other wife of yours" replied Nandhini raising her eyebrows.

" How many times should I tell you? I didn't marry her." Shouted Karikalan.

Nandini laughed, " So you if you didn't marry her, then why would you bring her here, for your own use?" Taunted Nandhini with a smirk on her face.

" NANDHINI!" Shouted Karikalan as he was horrified to hear such words from his wife's mouth.

" ENOUGH! Enough of your lies" replied Nandhini in return.

"I DIDN'T LIE, it is up to you whether to trust me or not, but don't even try to separate me from my son." Karikalan warned Nandhini.

" What will you do, if I separate you? Will you Kill me?" questioned Nandhini.

Karikalan was about to open his mouth in protest, but he was stopped by the sudden entry of Parthibandhran.

" Arese! "Parthibandhran called him.

Karikalan frowned and rushed towards his side, "What happen Parthibandhra?" Questioned Karikalan.

" Ilavarase! Prince Arunmozli-" stuttered Parthibandhran.

Karikalan held Parthibandhran's shoulders, " what happen to Arunmozli?"

" Ponniyin Selvar had drowned in the sea, Ilavarase " informed Parthibandhran.

" What! Arunmozli is dead?" Questioned Karikalan.

Parthibandhran nodded a yes.

" No, my brother won't die, Vandhiya Devan would have saved him" uttered Karikalan with a little hope.

" No, Ilavarase, Vandhiya Devan had drowned with him. " Announced Parthibandhran.

This was another shock to Karikalan.
" What? No, this is impossible." Told Karikalan in a mere whisper.

" Do you have someone witnessing his death?" Asked a voice from behind.

" Yes, Devi, periya vellar had seen him drown." Replied Parthibandhra.

"No, Parthibandhra get ready, we will surely find Arunmozli. " Told Karikalan.

" Where will you search for him, Ilavarase?" questioned Parthibandhran.

" Everywhere until I find him," told Karikalan as he looked at Nandhini and his son for one last time before he left.

Parthibandhran followed him out.

After a few hours,

Urvashi has come to see her nephew," Urvashi, stop it," laughed Nandhini seeing Urvashi's attempts of making the child laugh.

Nandhini started to laugh so badly that tears started spilling from her eyes.

Nandhini heard a knock on the door, she frowned and went to open the door. Urvashi walked up to the crib and placed the baby.

A masked man banged into the room holding a sword against Nandhini's throat. Nandhini took a few steps until her back hit the wall.

She sighed and held the man's hand tightly causing the sword to fall of his hand.

" Enough Amarabhiujhanga, you could have just come through the balcony if you want to come," said Nandhini.

The man opened the cloth revealing his face.

"What are you doing here?" Questioned Amarabhiujhangan as he let go of his sister.

" What will I be doing here?" Repeated Nandhini as he turned her head.

" Why didn't you send any letters or news about Arunmozli" questioned Nandhini.

" I came to tell about that to you." Told Amarabhiujhangan.

Urvashi was happy to see Amarabhiujhangan, she was seeing him nearly after a whole year.

Nandhini walked towards the diwan and gestured to Amarabhiujhangan to take a seat.

"Tell me, is Arunmozli dead?" Questioned Nandhini.

" I don't know, but that is what Deveralan, Soman and Ravidasan told me, they saw him drown with their own eyes."Informed Amarabhiujhangan.

" Did you or anyone see his body?" Questioned Nandhini.

"No, Akka, Nobody did but we are searching for the body." Told Amarabhiujhangan.

" Till you see his body with your own eye, don't come to a conclusion that he is dead." Advised Nandhini.

"If the youngest tiger is dead, then what do we do?" Questioned Amarabhiujhangan.

" Let's hunt our new prey," suggested Nandhini with a smirk.

" Karikalan?" Questioned Amarabhiujhangan.

" No, the oldest tiger," told Nandhini.

" Sundar cholan?" Asked Amarabhiujhangan.

Nandhini nodded, "But how?" questioned Amarabhiujhangan.

" On the upcoming Chitra Pournami, everyone would be gathered in the temple nearby, Sundar Cholar will be left alone in his chamber." Told Nandhini.

Amarabhiujhangan nodded, " There will always heavy security around Sundara Cholar, it will be increased during that day." Informed Nandhini.

"Then what do we do?" Questioned Amarabhiujhangan.

" I will let you know when you come that day." Told Nandhini.

" Then when do we kill the Young Tiger?" questioned Amarabhiujhangan.

Nandhini froze, " soon." Whispered Nandhini.

" Are you hiding something from me ?" Questioned Amarabhiujhangan crooking his eyebrows.

Nandhini looked at Urvashi and then at Amarabhiujhangan and shook her head," why would you think that?"

" No, you are acting a bit different." Told Amarabhiujhangan.

Just as Nandhini was about to deny it, the child started Crying.

Nandhini's eyes widened. Amarabhiujhangan looked at Nandhini in shock, " Did you have a child with him?" Questioned Amarabhiujhangan as he shot up from his place.

" Amara calm down and Yes he is my son" replied Nandhini.

"How can you, is this why you haven't killed him yet?!" Shouted Amarabhiujhangan.

" Don't raise your voice at me Amarabhiujhanga!" Yelled Nandhini.

" This is Karik-" Just as he was about to continue, they heard the sound of something falling.

" Someone is here" Exclaimed Nandhini as she got up and went towards the door.

She opened the door to see a pale-faced Manimeghalai standing near the chamber.

She started running as soon as she saw Nandhini. The soldiers outside were unconscious because of Amarabhiujhangan.

"Catch her! " Nandhini ordered Amarabhiujhangan.

He ran towards her and caught her in an iron grip." Let me go!" Shouted Manimeghalai as she tried to get off his grip.

Nandhini held her by her hair and brought her near to her face. " You Little rat, will be thought a lesson for what you have done. "
