She could adopt if it came down to it. She is not generally picky, but wants a partner whom will protect her better than she protects herself. Loyalty is key.

Lana is a tall, a bit abnormally skinny Borzoi. She comes from a long line of Borzois, and her coat and form indicate that. She has a very lean body, with a very distinctly shaped head. Her head is rather narrow, as are some parts of her body, and she has very long legs, which are lanky and very skinny. Her head is slanted a bit downwards, and her stomach is small and very slim, as she is a bit underweight, and was not eating much in her previous lifestyle. She still does not have an appetite, so her weight is falling. She's the average height for a female. Lana's coat is silky and a bit curled, with a long, and luscious look to it. Her fur falls out rather easily, and she has a lot of chest fur, and a lot of fur is also on the back of her lower legs. Her coat is a pretty pearl white color, which blends into a creamy-orange popsicle color on her back, to her tail, and up to her head. She has a double coat, which keeps her warm in the winter, and sheds it off in the summer. Her paw-pads are black, and so is her nose. She has a thick tail, and flowy fur as well.

Lana is a hard to define figure. She is incredibly ambitious and would do anything to keep her goals and her dreams. Lana tries to be ambitious to drown the other feelings inside of her that she doesn't need, and ones from her past that she can't seem to get away from. She is incredibly dauntless and brave, and has risked her life on many previous occasions. Lana tries to stay as brave and courageous as she possibly can, in order to come out on top when arguing with others, or going against emotional tensions. Lana carries herself onward when she goes through rough patches by showing her bravery, and tries to output that onto others. She is often seen as a role model to other dogs because of her bravery and her ambitiousness, but can also come off to others as incredibly closed off and cold-hearted. She used to be a dog that laughed and was happy about every little thing that happened, but she has since turned into a rather cold and distant Borzoi. Lana does not reach out to speak to others, and tends to carry herself more independently because of her past, and because she knows it's better for herself and her emotional well-being. Lana is not the most friendly dog, and she certainly does not appear to be when others approach her. She will lunge at other people and go at them if they say one bad thing about her, and will not take anything from other dogs. 

She often seems mad or upset, but most of the time she doesn't mean to be and she actually is not. Lana is incredibly independent and self-reliant. She does not try and rely on others, and often will not let them try and be responsible for her. She is responsible for her own actions, and she holds others accountable for their own actions. Lana will not help a dog in need if they deserve what they're getting, which is where she got her cold-hearted exterior and reputation. She gets easily defensive and holds up her tough outside for herself, not for the show. She's not trusting at all, and has learned her lesson. She tends to stray away from those whom she does not trust or has a bad feeling about, and will not talk to them. Lana can become very overly emotional, and her emotions often become enlarged over mentions of her past or looking down at something bloody, but she still  tries to keep her touch outside. Lana is like a brick wall, and can not be broken down easily. She can become caring and loving, but it is very rare for her because her sense have been broken down before, and she does not know who to trust. Sometimes, Lana lets out her good side, and shows how caring she can be, as well as gentle, and venturesome. She likes to take adventures, and keeps herself very associated with nature and it's surroundings. Lana feels at home when she is surrounded by nature, so she can let out all of her feelings alone when not around others.

She enjoys running through the forest, being outside in nature all of the time, and being by herself. Lana does not thrive from being alone, but she does enjoy the quality time when she s not being pressured or talked to by someone at every instant. Lana loves sleeping, and enjoys her rest. She likes bathing in the sun, though does not like the extreme heat. Lana prefers to be very independent and on her own, and because of this she likes doing her own duties.

Lana dislikes the smell of fish, very icy weather, sweating in the summer when her coat does not shed the right way, and being confined. She likes to be free and independent, she does not like to be held down and hates it. She will rebel all the time and do what she has to do. Lana hates being pushed down to the point where she can't do anything but sit there and watch, or not be able to do anything. She does not like nuts, waking up early in the morning, or the sound of dog nails against concrete or gravel, it irks her.

Lana fears that she will find herself in another bad relationship with humans and dogs. She can not deal with the smell or look of blood, and though she fights, she is incredibly afraid of actually killing another dog. Lana is afraid of dying as well, or seeing herself come into harm's way.

Lana hopes that she will one day be at peace with herself and forget about what had happened to her in her previous life. She wants to accomplish her goals, which are to become a little more well-known than she already is, and to become a leader of a pack, which she wants to initiate herself. ➴ｂａｃｋｓｔｏｒｙ

Lana was born in a small, almost unknown area of the world, to her mother and father Brin and Iris. Brin only took a small look at his pups, and than he was gone, just like the wind. Iris was forced to raise her own pups by herself after her mate disappeared to be with his mistress, leaving her with her second litter of pups. Only Lana's older sister, Gaia, knew Brin, for he was present in her life, but she stayed with her mother when Brin left. Lana and Willow never got along, and Willow would rat Lana out for the smallest things, and tell her that she was the reason why their father left. Iris raised Willow, Halcyon, and Lana herself for a small portion of their lives, until they were around the age of 1. When Lana and her siblings were 1 year olds, Iris was taken from her pups and separated when animal control found them. Lana was taken to a different home than her brothers and sisters. There, she met her owner, who would become verbally abusive, named Jacques. Jacques was a hunter, who used Lana and his other dogs to hunt for him. He often used the animals for meat, so it was not just killing for fun, but sometimes he entered in competitions. Lana was his best hunter, and always caught the animals that he wanted. For a few months, Lana was alone, before she met Kai. Kai was another dog whom was owned by him, and the two bonded instantly. After meeting her new friend, she found Dagwood. Dagwood was an older dog, one of her owner's prized possessions, who was the best hunter there. She spread her knowledge to Lana, and kept her in line. After being taken from her mother, she began to imprint on Dagwood. Dagwood lost her own pups from her own litter, so from the months and year that Lana was there, Dagwood took her under her wing. 

When Lana was around 2 and a half years old, Kai started to have a more developed relationship with her. He would protect her from their master's hits, and he would stand by her. They became mates after a while, and Lana still had not found out that Kai was using her, and pushed her into doing something that she did not want to do. A few days before she was planning to leave her terrible owner, Kai trapped her. He hurt her, he gave her a scar on her flank, and he stated that she was having his pups. Kai's friend, Anikoli, a huge dog, tried to prevent Lana from leaving, and threatened that he would kill her if she tried to escape her hunting master's clutches. Lana ignored him, and he returned the favor by trying to attack her. Lana won.Lana left a few days after that, horrified and enraged. She should have done something, but she did not have the chance. Lana turned herself into a cold-hearted, grudge holding and enraged canine. She insanely wanted to harm Kai, and to put him in his place, but had since developed the fear of blood. Lana left, and was taken in by a family after she had shown up on their doorstep. They were a young couple, two teenagers whom were in love, and about to both turn adults, Lana had learned. They took her in, and she soon had her pups, before the teenagers decided to tie the knot, out of fear and way too early; but Lana was happy for her owners, and they were the only people she was happy for. 

Lana named her pups Solstice, for the female and her mottled fur, and her other pup Ozzie, because she loved the name. After another year of living with her owners, and at an adult age, after her pups grew up, Lana noticed that Ozzie was becoming a little bit more slow than he usually was, and this was because Ozzie was developing an organ disease. Ozzie had a genetic defect, which his owners would find out about, and just as Lana's owners had their baby, Ozzie passed away. To cope with the pain, Lana allowed herself to say that that was Ozzie getting reincarnated into a better life, living as a human and with loving parents. That wasn't until, to add onto Lana's broken life full of pain, her male owner, Anderson, had a heart attack. He was sent to the hospital and taken care of, and their family did not return back to their house for almost a week. Lana was left with Solstice to be on her own in the house, with no food or water. Lana planned on leaving with her pup, but Sol decided against it. She wanted to wait for her owners to come home in order to show them that she remained loyal. Sol was older than the normal age for pups to be without their mother, so she wanted to stay. With grief and sorrow, Lana knew how it felt to be forced, so she did not force her pup. Instead, she left, and just as she was leaving, her family returned.

Lana decided against going back to her house, and wanted to let her daughter carry on her own and only her own bloodline, of strong and powerful Borzois, and start a new life with her owners. She found this as an opportunity to work on her own self improvement and emotional issues, so she became a stray.
