Volnutt was in bed. After what had happened in the desert, he had been trying to get rest for what has happened. It was so tiring for him from before. But as he is resting, he the felt something. His head...it was not on the pillows anymore. It was on...something else. As he struggled to remain awake, he than realized that arms are around him. As he began to move, a familiar voice spoke out.

"Don't move, Volnutt."

That voice...it was 2B's. He than woke up, to see sometime. When he looked up, it was 2B's head. That is when he realized the position he was in.

"What the...2B! What are..."

Before he could speak, she put a hand over his mouth, silencing him. She than spoke out.

"Just enjoy your time being with me, Volnutt. Besides...it feels nice now."

She said, as she closed her eyes, and went to sleep. Volnutt doesn't understand why she would do this thing.

"This is plain weird now."

As he said that, he than just closed his eyes, and goes to sleep calmly. He just hopes that it is just a Dream now.

Morning...

It was now morning. 9S was on a separate mission of his own. So now 2B and Volnutt have to take this mission together. And it looks like she isn't acting like that, so it possibly is a dream. But what was the first thing to go to, when on a mission? Why, it is the sewer system, basically.

"Great. Of course it has to be the sewer system! Why not the sewer system?!"

Volnutt exclaimed, as he is very angry at that now. 2B than spoke back aloud.

"Less complaining, more work Volnutt."

Volnutt than shuts himself.

"Right."

After a little while of thinking, he than spoke to 2B about what happened before.

"2B, about what happened in the desert, you said that they looked like androids, right?"

2B than looked and said to him.

"Yeah."

He than spoke to her.

"But the androids were created by the humans themselves. So how was this possible to make it look like you and 9S."

2B has no answer to that question. She to is confused. She did speak this.

"There's no point in trying to work out unsolvable problems."

He than looked and spoke out.

"Right."

They than wandered into the sewers with each other. But the sewer is like a maze of some sort. And to make matters worse, it turns out that if Volnutt is in water, he becomes very slow himself, due to being mostly made of really heavy metal. Eventually, however, he was able to get out of the water, and was able to find the exit. They than climbed up, although Volnutt went first. It took about 30 seconds, and they finally reached the top of it all.

The place they are in now resembles some type of forest. They wandered around this place for a little bit, before finally encountering a amusement park.

The fireworks are going up in the sky, and it doest'r seem to stop anyway.

"What are those?"

2B spoke out. Volnutt than spoke out.

"Wow, fireworks at a still-working amusement park. That is why I need right here."

As they continued on, the robots noticed them and they spoke.

"Oh, wHat fuN! Oh, whaT FUn!"

The robots look like jesters. They have red smiles on their face, and have hats of a jester. They even can explode confetti out of their own hands.

Volnutt looked at them and then at 2B. Than he spoke out to her.

"Let's quit fooling around and destroy."

He than goes in and attacks them, along with 2B. But it was only the one with the big hat that looks like a stage person.

Some of them than spoke out.

"Let's bE haPPy, toGETHer! TogetHER! ToGethER!"

The one with the hat is a little bit simply, as they were easily able to be dispatched. Volnutt than used a Mega Buster in this one. He shot the balls that the one with the hat shot out with his gun. He could use the Scatter Buster, but it would waste so much energy using it. 2B took care of the enemy without any problem whatsoever.

After 2B took care of the robots, Volnutt than spoke out to 2B.

"What do we do with the robots hare aren't attacking us both?"

She turned and spoke to him.

"We destroy them, still."

Volnutt sighed, as he readied his Mega Buster.

"But they don't seem to fight back. I think it is best we just simply go on our way, unless they attack to us first."

2B than looked and saw that even after that thing they did, none of them are attacking. After a little while of thinking, she than spoke.

"Okay."

They than began to travel up the stairs, and Volnutt was able to use his Jumping shoes for this one. They began to get through the gate, but all this did was be locked. They eventually find another way around through an alleyway, which leads to halfway through the castle.

Volnutt looked at the signal meter, and saw what is happening.

"I think we are getting resistance from somewhere around the place we are in. Maybe somewhere in that building under that Roller Coaster."

He spoke, pointing a the building. They than go around and went onto a ride.

They jumped onto the boats that seemed to be tilted due to the damage on this one. They than saw a stair that seems to be guarded by a deactivates robot. They then went up, and than they heard a voice.

"Let's Dance! Let's Dance!"

Than, another voice spoke to them.

"Let's play! Let's play! Play! Play! Let's play!"

The voice is coming from the tank up ahead.

Volnutt was stunned.

"You know what? I think we can attack the now."

2B than gripped her sword and spoke to him.

"Good."

"Let's sing! Let's sing!

"Let's play! Play! Play!"

Both Volnutt and 2B charged at the Amusemnt Park Tank. 2B and Volnutt with his Blade Arm were able to hit it, but Volnutt's only scratch slightly, while 2B was able to perfectly damage it. He than used another thing. He uses the Vacuum Arm, and sucks the confetti blocking their sight.

This made it easy for 2B to focus on attacking. But than the enemies had another trick up their sleeve.

They summon very damaging purple balls, and it was able to hit and knock 2B away. Volnutt, however, has another idea. He uses the Crushed and attack the robot's barrel.

This caused a large explosion and was able to damage the front side so much, that it cannot fire anymore. Both 2B and Volnutt attack even more than ever before.

But as the armor comes off, the Tank than began to speed up, and both 2B and Volnutt get out of the way in order to avoid being flattened like a pancake.

"Geez. Looks like I'll have to roll along."

He than brings out his Jet Skates, and goes to roll towards the tank head on to make it stop.

Unfortunately, that failed and he was sent back, and had taken damage. But 2B has an idea on his skates.

As the Tank is preparing to attack them yet again, Volnutt piggybacks 2B and the both of them roll towards the Tank and moved fast, at the same time that the tank rolls towards them.  Reacting quickly, Volnutt throws 2B and she was able to get on top of it. She than attacked at the drivers, and they have been destroyed by her sword.

2B gets off of the Tank, and Volnutt looks at her and spoke out to her.

"We are not talking about this every again. Okay, 2B?"

2B nodded, and they continued forward. But than Volnutt noticed something.

"Wait...what is that?"

2B turns and looks at the thing in the ground.

"What is that? Some type of crystal."

Than, Pod 040 than spoke out the answer.

"Analysis: it is a core fragment of the Machine Lifeform. It is similar in structure to a Plant Cell."

The Pod explained, as she stored it somewhere.

"A plant cell?"

Than, the duo continues to move. They went left and went up the stairs, leading them to a balcony. They then went left again, and they do countered a vehicle of sorts.

"What is this?"

2B said. Volnutt than gave out an answer.

"That's a roller coaster. A vehicle that uses a type of device to propel people forward. The roller coaster was meant to give an experience to how fun being on something fast is. Why do you think it is called an Amusement Park, 2B?"

Volnutt explained. They went on it, and all of a sudden, they got strapped in the seat, with the feet trapped, and they than began to speed up. All of a sudden, enemies began to fly around and try to attack the duo.

2B, who was not trapped, jumped and cleaves one of them in half. Volnutr, who is stuck, utizlized the Mega Buster and shoot the robots. After a few moments of shooting and cutting, they than jumped down onto a building, where there's a hole inside.

"Alert. Multiple resistance members beneath this room."

Pod 040 spoke. Both 2B and Volnutt wern't down into a staircase, where it collapsed and they fell.

KSHHHH!!

They fell through glass, and they went what seems to be a place of curtains.

"Is that...a stage?"

Volnutt said. Before 2B could speak, a alarm was heard, and the curtain opens. Than, a massive female figure appeared behind the curtains.

Than, it began to do some sort of song, and than, the third one did a scream that hurt's 2B and Volnutt.

"What the hell?"

2B spoke. She had never seen anything like this before.

"Man, for a singer, she knows how to be rusty."

Volnutt spoke. The robot than went down, and made energy blade under itself. The blades are spinning and tried to slice them. Volnutt than utilize both the Blade Arm and the Crusher for the situation they are in.

When the female used the purple balls and try to make it hit the both of them, Volnutt used the Crusher Bomb and hits the one that might hit 2B. He would than use the Blade Arm to block the energy blade the opera singer would make on them. But what made things worse, it has metal playing to protect itself against nay blade.

Than, she began to summon missiles that aimed and hit 2B.

"What the...how did..."

Volnutt said out loud. But that he shook his head. He than decide to attach the Hover Shoes right now. As he helps 2B up, they than saw that a laser was shot in all directions.

"Oh for the love..."

The Jump shoes turned on, and Volnutt was jump above the lasers. 2B than jumped and grabbed his hand, so she could get higher. Than, the Opera robot fired homing missiles again. This time, however, he used the Active Buster.

The missiles were able to counter the singer's homing missiles. 2B looks at Volnutt weirdly.

"How do you keep this much in your backpack."

She questioned. He looked annoyed and spoke.

"Really...really deep pockets."

He spoke with sarcasm present. Than, she unleashed her blades again, and this time is spinning. Panicking, he activated the wheels and began to roll around as fast as he can go. This went on for a few seconds. She than made a ring attack that gets larger and larger at every attack he does. They took a stance and ran at the 4 one, getting past the 5th ring.

She than did the bomb attack again! And this tome, it is much more crowded! They tried to squeeze through, but every time they tried, they almost and got get hit. So the solution? Volnutt made a shield and blocked the bombs for great affect. Since the Bombs only attack at the front part only, the Shield became useful now. But after a little while, she went back on the stage, and did something unexpected. A giant surge of energy came in, and Volnutt was affected greatly, but did not feel different, but it than realized what it is trying to do.

"It's trying to hack us!! If this keeps up, you'll get affected 2B!"

2B almost collapsed from that. Volnutt than decide to check to make sure she's okay.

"2B! Are you okay there?"

2B turned. But before she could speak, the robot, which became limp, than began to move and than began speaking.

"Beautiful...beautiful...I MUST BE BEAUTIFUL!!!"

She screamed so loud that everything began to shake. The curtain than closed,  and all of a sudden, during the scream, metal beams came down, and robotic corpses are stuck to the beams.

"Did they sent us to destory dead Androids?"

2B spoke in utter disgust. Rock than felt his black box signal meter shaking. He looked at it and saw that all of them are all over.

"2B! These androids aren't dead! They've been converted into weapons! Their black box signals, everywhere!"

2B understood what he meant and spoke out.

"Alright, let's end this."

As 2B began to cut them down, Volnutt than took out his Spread Buster and began shooting faraway androids.

As they do this, Volnutt was able to contact 9S, and seconds later, he had appeared.

"9S!! Thank god you are here right now!"

Volnutt spoke to him.

"I've came just in times when I detected the Black Box Signals."

He than began to cut it down with 2B. Volnutt kept on using the Spread Buster.

After finishing off against the Robotic Weapon's, 9S spoke out.

"2B, Volnutt. I've almost learned of their hacking waves. I'm gong to try and hack them back."

Volnutt and 2B nodded.

"More...beautiful...I must...become...more beautiful."

The robot said, as it began to spread bombs all over. 9S, however, was than able to hack into the robot, and weakened it.

"More...More...MORE..."

"Alert:Saturation Attack triggered by enemy consciousness data. Failure to destoryed it quickly may lead to serious damage in memory region."

The pod spoke out. All of a sudden, the skirt opened and revealed 2 legs and tried to capture both of them. But Volnutt tacked them both away. All of a sudden, there were 2 more legs at the back of the robot.

"This thing keeps on getting more disturbing by the second. I'll take care of the weaponized androids for a bit, you take care of the robot. I'll come back to help as soon I'm done with them."

He than began to slice the robots, while the androids began to fight against the opera robot.

He than began to shoot at the robots, but than has to get out of the way, due to energy rings appearing on the robots body. Than, the robot stood up, and began to waste out a strange back substance. 9S was able to hack it and destroyed the thing inside. After taking care of the robots, Volnutt than goes back, but it is getting harder. And it is it helping the fact that the robot is now laughing like crazy. She than began to jump and summon energy shockwaves. They were able to jump over. Finally, Volnutt cracked and spoke out.

"You know what?! I THINK I JUST HAD ENOUGH!!!"

He than brought out his Shining Laser, and 2B spoke out.

"Pod!!"

"Affirmative."

The Pod unleashed it's laser, while Volnutt used his Shining Laser.

"Go!!"

The 2 lasers than attacked, and hit the singing robot.

"AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!"

The robot than had oner last memory to look at. It was a person, possibly her creator, helping the robot with her routine...when they were still alive before. A memory...that was very precious...

...to her.

The robot exploded, and everyone covered their eyes. After looking back, they saw the robot...is now destroyed. 2B than turns around, and spoke to 9S.

"Thanks for the assist."

"What? You mean with the hacking? No worries. Us scanners are really good at that kind of thing. I've got both of your backs anytime."

Volnutt looked and smiled genuinely. But than he remembered something.

"The androids, quick! We have to save them!"

But 9S shook his head, as he spoke out.

"I'm sorry, Volnutt...but their circuits are fried. I think they were only being kept alive by the enemy."

Volnutt was not happy. But he did nothing else. 2B noticed that his hands are tightening up, and was shaking slightly. But he calms. He than looks up, and he spoke out.

"Let's get back to base. The others will need an investigation here."

Everyone nodded, and they began to head back. But as they do, 9S than began to speak.

"So umm..."

Volnutt than spoke to him.

"Yeah?"

"That machine had some pretty weird things to say, huh? It's almost like it had actual emotion—"

But 2B interrupted and spoke back to 9S.

"The machines don't have feelings. You said that yourself."

9S looked a bit embarrassed here, as he spoke.

"Yeah, I...I guess."

Volnutt didn't say anything, and they kept moving. But as they went outside, they saw a machine here.

"Hostiles."

2B said. But the machine spoke.

"Wait. I'm not hostile."

"Huh?"

Volnutt looked suprised.

"You have defeated broken machine. You save us."

9S than spoke out.

"This thing is awfully verbose for a machine."

But the machine than spoke.

"We repay you. Come to our village."

Volnutt, actually getting pretty excited, spoke this out.

"Really? Sweet. Okay, we'll come."

9S than spoke out.

"It could be a trap. Still...we should head over and gather data, right?"

2B than spoke.

"Right."

They than began to follow the robot to the village.
