Kaito's pov:

Ah~ it's been 2 weeks. We've been trying our best to get his tail and ears to disappear but to no avail. "Kaito, can we go outside today please?" The little Neko asked while scooting closer to me. "I don't know Len, the last time we went...I don't think it went so well..." I sighed scratching the back of my head. "But it's different now, I can talk! Please please please pleeeeeeaaaasseeee!!!" The little blond cried. I smiled at his adorable behavior and nodded. "Alright, but let's keep it short. Okay?" "Yaaaay!!!" He jumped with joy. How adorable. We headed out soon after that. He was so excited that he almost tripped over every obstacle on the way. "Kaitoooo~! Push me!" He pleaded while jumping on one of the empty swings. This park's always empty, that's why I dont have to worry about any harassment that could come upon Len.

We played for hours of no end. Honestly, I can't keep up with this boys stamina. I finally sat down on one of the nearby benches when my legs started to hurt, but the fourteen year old continued to play around. It had gotten pretty late. I glanced up at the stars that were scattered throughout the night sky. What a beautiful sight. "They're really Beautiful aren't they?" Len spoke while sitting down next to me, obviously tired from the non stop exercise. "Yea. You're really beautiful." I replied bluntly, then quickly clamped a hand over my mouth. The Neko blushed and looked away. "Im sorry, I'm just...really tired." I stuttered. The blond laughed and nodded "it's okay. I don't mind being complimented on once in a while." He smiled warmly. I chuckled and ruffled his hair, to which he responded with a purr.

"Kaaitooooo~~!" A voice yelled snapping us both back to reality. I looked back to see miku heading towards us with a huge smile plastered on her face. Without warning, she swung her arms around me and pulled me into a tight hug from behind. Len fell onto the ground with a thud. "Kaitoooo! You cheater! You promised to take me shopping today but you never came!" She yelled while pinching my cheeks with a pout. Len picked himself up from the ground and dusted some dirt off his clothes.

Her attention turned towards Len. "Oh! Len. I didn't see you there-wait a minute!" She gasped while getting closer to Len. "Omg! That outfit is so cute!!" She squealed while pinching his ears playfully. "I-it's not a-Kya!" Len started to squirm but she refused to let go. "That's enough miku. Stop bothering him." I spoke while pulling Len to my side. She frowned at this and crossed her arms. "Well then? Are you gonna come with me or not?" She asked. "Miku. It's late and I really gotta-" "you should go." The blond spoke interrupting  me. I looked towards him with a confused expression. He had been staring at the ground the entire time. "I'll get home, It's not far. I miss rin anyway..." he spoke in a whisper. Why did he look like he was on the verge of tears? "Great! Then it's settled!" Miku smiled.Before I could say anything else, she dragged me away.

After about TWO HOURS of endless torture, we exited the mall. I was holding so many bags that I almost scared some people on the way. I looked like a freakin bag-monster or something. "Kaito~" miku hummed. "Yea? What is it?" I asked in a tired tone. She stopped walking and looked towards me with a nervous look. Then she reached into her purse and pulled out a sliver chained necklace with a leek on it. "I-I want you to have this." She smiled while placing it around my neck. She pulled out another one with an ice-cream cone on it and put it around her neck. "From now on, you're my ice cream and I'm your leek." She blushed and laughed. I smiled and nodded. "Fair enough." She went back home as soon as she got a call from luka. I thanked god she did.

When I reached home, the first thing I did was call for Len. "Len! Where are you?" No reply. Did he go to bed already? Well, it is late. But my worry soon turned into fear when I found the bedroom empty. Okay, so he's not in the bathroom, not in the kitchen and definitely not in the lounge. Did he even reach home safely!? I started to panic until my phone rang. I checked the ID to see it was rin. I picked it up. "Hello?" "Hey kaito, can I ask you something?" She hesitated. "Ask away." "Did something happen between you and Len? Cause he came home like an hour ago and refuses to come out of his room. I tried talking to him, reasoning with him, but he wouldn't reply. I think he's been crying." She explained. I froze. Len was...crying? Why? "It's already late so you can't come get him, but you can come in the morning." She spoke. "Yea. I'll come get him in the morning." With that, I ended the call. Len was crying... what made him cry? Who made him cry!? I should've said no to miku. What if something happened on his way home!? I have to to talk to him...!
