(Lex Luthor is seen alongside, Ozpin, Mojo Jojo, Ozpina and Glynda Goodwitch as he attaches the weapon to his suit)

Mojo Jojo: Is this really necessary?

Lex Luthor: It's a risk I need to take.

Glynda: Lex knew the risk he would take at the moment he joined us.

Ozpin: Just be careful.

Lex Luthor: I will.

Mojo Jojo: I'm going with you.

Ozpina: We all better go together.

(As Lex Luthor and his team go to Atlas Prison Tower, they are stopped by Roman and his team)

Glynda: I knew you would escape, Roman.

Lex Luthor: Unless you want Superman to succeed, step aside, all of you!

Roman: (laughs) Come on, Luthor. We all know there is no hope for this world.

Tyrian: Your suit can make a good decoration.

Hazel: (cracks his knuckles) You will be crushed, then Qrow is next!

Lex Luthor: I don't think so...

Neopolitan: Let me try.

Cinder: Let's show them the mistake they committed!

(Lex Luthor fights Neopolitan, Glynda faces Cinder, Ozpin confronts Emerald, Ozpina challenges Hazel and Mojo Jojo has a clash with Arthur Watts. They use their best skills, Neopolitan, Emerald and Arthur are easily defeated while Cinder and Hazel can still fight. Then Lex Luthor speaks to Neopolitan)

Lex Luthor: Do a favor to yourself, Neopolitan. Stay away from these maniacs.

Roman: Don't listen to him. He is delusional!

(Neopolitan gets conflicted, when suddenly Emerald shoots Roman, much for the people's surprise and Roman's anger)

Roman: (groans) Emerald, you idiot! Who do you think you're shooting at? Don't screw this up!

Emerald: (points the weapon at Roman) I had enough of this! You are not our leader.

(Then Mercury comes in and kicks Roman in the groin)

Mercury: I'm glad I was able to save you, Emerald.

Tyrian: TRAITOR!!

(Then Lex Luthor approaches Roman as Ozpin confronts Tyrian)

Ozpin: Salem is a lunatic, just like Superman.

Mercury: I agree with you in one thing, Ozpin... I was a traitor when I joined these bastards!

(Lex Luthor fights Roman while Ozpin faces her ex's most faithful servant. As Ozpina manages to overcome Hazel and knock him out, Cinder decides to stop fighting, much for Glynda's shock. Lex Luthor easily overpowers Roman while Ozpin has troubles dealing with Tyrian until he uses his best attacks against the scorpion faunus and manages to defeat him.)

Lex Luthor: You're just like the Joker.

Emerald: Surely he is. He knew which buttons to press. This is what he does.

(Then Roma and the sisters of Team CRDL come in as Cinder raises her hands)

Cinder: I surrender...

Glynda: Clever...

Carla: You are lucky, Cinder. (to Roman, Hazel, Tyrian and Arthur) As for you guys, we are going to lock you up and make sure you don't escape until the fat lady sings!

(Then Sora comes in)

Sora: Need any help?

Lex Luthor: No. We're fine. Go and help the others.

Sora: Got it!

(As Sora leaves, Glynda creates a cloud of thunder and some thunderbolts hit Black Adam. Then Lex Luthor faces Hawkgirl. The two have a brief clash)

Lex Luthor: You are done, Hawkgirl. Overmatched.

(Glynda has no problems dealing with Black Adam while Lex Luthor has to deal with Hawkgirl. While Glynda easily beats Black Adam, Lex Luthor keeps fighting Hawkgirl. As the fight goes on, Lex Luthor finally finds Hawkgirl's weak point and manages to defeat Hawkgirl)

Lex Luthor: Like I said, Overmatched!

(Then the five insurgents regroup until Lex Luthor gets attacked by the enraged Shazam)

Shazam: Since when did you side with them?

Lex Luthor: Since Superman decided to start herding people like sheep!

Shazam: Superman just wants the best for the multiverse!

Lex Luthor: We are not his playthings. (prepares to fight) And he is no God!

(Lex Luthor fights Shazam. After Shazam heard Penny's words about Superman's recent doings in other universes, his doubts about Superman's cause got strengthened. Even so, Shazam fought Lex Luthor out of rage as he found out about his betrayal. But Lex Luthor was smart enough to outsmart the mighty champion)

Lex Luthor: No good comes from hero worship.

Mercy: (comes in) I have some good news. Team NDGO and Team SSSN helped us secretly.

Lex Luthor: What about the bad news?

Mercy: The Watchtower got destroyed.

Lex Luthor: (sighs) Well... May luck favor the foolish...

(Cut to Superman in Space)

Lex Luthor: SUPERMAN! YOUR TIME IS OVER!!

(Lex Luthor aims the kryptonite weapon at Superman. Shazam gets up and tries to frustrate the attempt. But Glynda summons a cloud of thunder as the thunderbolts hit Shazam at the point he gets unconscious. Then Lex Luthor manages to hit Superman, weakening him before coming close to him as the people cheer Luthor up, much for Superman's dismay)

Superman: (weakly) I... trusted... you... you... betrayed... me...

Lex Luthor: Who betrayed whom?

Superman: (weakly) I... tried... to bring... peace...

Lex Luthor: Your peace... is a joke!

(Then comes an beserk Iris, killing anyone who stands in her way as people get scared and run away. Then Colonel manages to calm his sister down and takes both her and Superman away)

(Back to the underground base, Team NDGO and Team SSSN are seen hugging Kevin)

Nebula: Our pretty and sweet Kevin. We'll never lose you again.

Kevin: (blushes) You're forgiven.

(Superman is stopped for now. Is the multiverse finally safe? Or the Regime will strike back? Stay tuned for more.)
