Those four words echoed through your brain. It was really happening. It was really, truly happening. There Mark was in front of you, one knee on the ground asking if you wanted to spend the rest of your lives together.

'Will you marry me?'

You felt a tear run down your cheek.

"Yes.. I-I will marry you!" You stuttered out as another tear slid down your face.

Mark smiled and laughed deeply for a few seconds, looking happier than you'd seen him in a good few months.

Mark stood up and pulled you close. You nuzzled your face into his chest. He held you in his arms in the middle of a dusty apartment in downtown LA, where you had been playing go fish on the floor only a few minutes prior. Nothing could ruin this moment.

"Hey, guys!" A loud voice called from behind the bathroom door.

"Th' door is stuck! Wha-" there was a pause. "Did you lock me in here?! Hey! Lemme out!" Furious pounding followed, earning a sigh from Mark and a snort from Barry.

"That was quick." Mark growled, as Barry slowly turned to unlock the bathroom door, but stopped.

"Maybe we can leave him in there and he'll forage off toothpaste like a rat." Barry proposed to Mark. You shook your head at Barry.

"That's awful." Mark grunted, trying to hold back a smile. "Let him out."

Barry slowly shuffled his feet across the floor, exaggerating his intentionally slow movements.

Barry clicked the lock and slowly opened the door a crack. Sudden Sean's face became visible, and a loud shriek erupted from the small man's mouth. Barry fell backwards in surprise, and Sean walked out, peering down at Barry.

"Thanks fer locking me in there.. Asshole.." Sean mumbled. You let out a loud laugh. Sean looked at you, and eyebrow raised.

You weren't sure why it had struck you as so funny. For some reason, the moment Sean had jumpscared Barry, you knew everything was normal. Bristol was no more, you and Mark were happily engaged, and you even had a dog.

Everything was okay, in that one moment. But deep down, part of you worried something was wrong.
