"Well guess what. Tyler is down for rooming with us! He'll be here in about a week." Mark stated after a few minutes on the phone with Tyler.

"This is 'Stone-face Tyler' from the Spore series?" You asked Mark, who laid back on the carpet. He said nothing, but nodded happily.

"Wait, Mark, why do you of all people need a roommate to pay the bills? Didn't you make like ten million dollars last year?"

"Twelve million, and it's not about the bills."

"YA MADE HOW MUCH?!" Sean blurted out, shocked.

"Yeah. Get on my level scrub." Mark retorted, not even opening his eyes. "I want my friends around to help keep me motivated and remind me just how much support I have. Not just from the community, but from people I know on a personal basis."

"Like, D-Club personal?" Lauryn enthusiastically asked from the other room.

"Mark's seen my 'D'!" Sean chirped loudly "Please for the love of god, don't tell the Septiplier shippers that we've seen each others' junk."

"Wouldn't dream of it." Lauryn mumbled as she rapidly typed something on her phone, holding her phone at an angle where Sean couldn't see her screen.

"What the fook are ya writing?"

"Nothing."

"Yes ya are gimme the phone!"

"NO! My Wattpad followers must know the truth!"

Sean dove to snatch the smartphone from the editor, but only managed to grab her left leg. "HAHA! Get rekt- oof!" Sean pulled her leg towards him, but the phone was still out of his reach.

You had been silent for a while, watching the group of morons you now called your friends wrestle over a cellphone. You smiled to yourself. Mark noticed this and put his arm around you.

"Things are finally looking up for us, baby." Mark whispered, giving you a gentle squeeze.

Suddenly, Lucifer by SHINee started playing loudly. Lauryn, who was now sitting triumphantly on Sean's back, answered her phone.

"Hello there. What can I do f-" She stopped abruptly and furrowed her brows. There was a long moment of silence.

"Um.. Sure. Here she is.." The geek handed her phone over to you. "Someone wants to talk to ya, hun."

Nervously, you took the phone and held it up to your ear.

"Hello?"

My my, now who could that be? Who could possibly want to talk to you, especially after what you had just gone through? A human bomb, a near-dead friend, and probably some serious PTSD.

Probably not someone who likes you very much after the explosion. That's all I can say for now.

Also, I'm not dead, just in college, which I have to study for right now. Catch you next chapter, and see ya! ~Lauryn
