A/N Hello my fellow JDTs and DTs! I hope you are having a fantastic day! In this chapter, there will be my own version of the song 'Touch the Sky from the movie, Brave :) I haven't changed it much, though - just a few of the lyrics. Anyway, I hope you enjoy...

When all the tension faded away, I began to feel relief overflow me. We escaped! I never really liked Donar. I've never had any good friends there. I'd imagine that Severin would be chief now, since his father is "too old" to become one anymore. Who came up with these rules? Only men are allowed to be chief, You have to be a certain age to become one... It's not fair, in my opinion. Runa has always wanted to be a chief. My dad was even going to let her be next in line if it weren't for these laws. But I guess it's too late now. Dad is no longer chief of any island. He will just be a regular Viking just like everybody else. But where we going anyway? Perhaps Berk? Or a neighbouring island? I didn't actually think of asking anyone until now. It slipped my mind, I guess. I just assumed that we were heading into the Archipelago. Maybe now was a good time to ask since we were all feeling a little more relaxed now.

Mum and Dad were chuckling at some joke they heard a few days ago. It wasn't that funny, really. I had given Halvor back to Runa and they were now doing loop-the-loops and somersaults on Stealthwing, laughing like they had no care in the world. And then there was me. I was daydreaming, laying on Skyglider's back and looking into the infinite atmosphere. My family says that I'm flying with the dragons in La La Land whenever I stare at the sky. I prefer air much more than sea or land. It's my comfort zone. My second home. Well, technically it is my only home at the moment; we don't have a place to live yet.

Oh, yeah. I almost forgot what I was going to do - again! I flew nearer to Dad and asked him the question that has been floating around in my mind for ages: "Dad, where are we going?" Everyone stopped laughing and stared at me. All except for Halvor, who had no clue about our current situation and was joyfully playing with Stealthwing's tail.
"We're going to the Archipelago, sweetie."
"I thought you said we were banned from going there."
"Well now I'm unbanning us," he replied bluntly.
"What if Severin follows us?" I inquired.
He sighed forlornly. "Let's just hope it doesn't come to that."
I reached for his hand and said, "No more sacrifices. No more Severin." Taking out my smoke pen, I drew the symbol for sacrifice, Gebo, and then waved my hand across the image to get rid of it.

"At least now I can tell you that I've tried to get to get into the Archipelago before." I said.
"You did WHAT?!" he yelled, possibly deafening my ear.
"Nothing..." I retorted, laughing as I flew over to my siblings.

I asked if Halvor and I could swap places, so that he was on Skyglider and I was with Runa. My brother instantly agreed and laughed whole-heartedly as he hung onto my dragon's tail. I sat behind Runa. We were quiet for a while. I broke the silence. "We're going to Berk, aren't we?" She didn't say anything but nodded in reply. "How long have you known?" I inquired, rubbing the bruises on my wrists.
"Ever since you were gone. We were looking for you everywhere. We knew Severin took you away. Dad was going to send a search party, but then you came in and we knew it was time to leave." I listened as she continued to speak, "Mum and Dad say that Berk has changed now. Someone named Hiccup caught a Night Fury three years ago and he didn't kill it. Instead, he persuaded the whole island to train them and now all the Vikings have their own pet dragons."

"Oh," was all that I could say. Runa took one glance at me; it was as if she was reading my thoughts and emotions. She turned around and sat backwards on Stealthwing to face me.
"How are you handling everything?" she asked me. I shrugged my shoulders.
"Okay, I guess. You never know though, maybe I'll find real friends on Berk!" I grinned impishly. Runa embraced me in a hug. I winced as she squeezed me a little too tightly. My head throbbed and I began to feel woozy. And then everything went black. My body leaned over to one side until I could no longer feel the saddle underneath me. Wind was rushing through my hair, slamming against my face. I was falling - but I couldn't open my eyes. No words came out of my mouth. It felt as if I was dropping for an eternity.

And then something caught me. I had a feeling that sharp talons were curling around my jacket, and I was suddenly lifted higher up into the clouds. And then it let go of me. I felt a soft impact as two arms were wrapped around me. Someone was cradling me, calling my name. I tried to respond, but I couldn't move. Water was sprinkled on my face as my family tried to wake me up. I twitched slightly and squinted my eyes. And then, out of nowhere, A whole jug of water was splashed onto me and I jerked up, coughing and breathing hard. I saw my brother holding the water jug and yelled, "Halvor!" After sighs of relief, my whole family collapsed into laughter. I was drenched from head to toe, and looked at my clothes in disgust as I dried to dry up.

A few minutes later, we stopped at a large rock and rested for a while. I was offered some water; after what just happened, I wasn't very thirsty. Fortunately for me, it was a hot day so I dried up in no time. The feeling of landing in Berk urged us to go on. Very soon, we were back on the dragons and were flying closer to our destination.

(This is my version of Touch the Sky from the movie Brave)

When the dragons are a' calling, and the sky is clear and bright
Misty clouds will sing and beckon, lead me out into the light

I will ride, I will fly, chase the wind and touch the sky
I will fly, chase the wind and touch the sky

La la la la
La la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la
La la la la
La la la la la la la

(Instrumental)

Where the islands hide secrets and dragons are fierce and bold
Lost treasures hold stories and are very much filled with gold
I will hear their every moral, take hold of my own dream
Be as strong as the seas are stormy, and proud as a dragon's scream

I will ride, I will fly, chase the wind and touch the sky
I will fly, chase the wind and touch the sky
And touch the sky, chase the wind
Chase the wind, touch the sky

La la la la
La la la la
La la la la la la la
La la la la
La la la la
La la la la la la la

And touch the sky
Chase the wind
Chase the wind
Touch the sky
