You walked into the Josi's residence with Cody. The team was having a little get together and had extended Cody's invite to you. They knew you two were really close. You did a lot together so might as well invite you, before Cody asked if you could tag along.

The girls got excited as you separated from Cody's side and joined them in the backyard by the pool.

"There she is." Ellie announced.

You smiled as you sat with them. One of the girls handed you a wine glass. You mingled with the girls for a bit until Ellie turned to you.

"So still single?" She asks.

You choked on your sip of wine, not expecting her to be so blunt and ask that. You laughed as you nod. "Yup"

Ellie groans in frustration "When will he learn. That damn boy needs to grow a pair." She says as she sips on her wine.

You sigh and shrug your shoulders. "Wouldn't I love to know."

The boys came running out of the house before you could continue the conversation. Scattering all around the yard. Some staying up on the deck, some going to sit with their girls and others jumping in the pool. Cody being one of them.

You smiled but focus back on Ellie, forgetting the previous conversation and starting a new one.

"Y/N come here." Cody yelled from the pool

You walk over to the pool edge where he stood. and kneel down. He hold out his arm in front of you. "Help me out"

You stand back up and shake your head. "No"

"Why, I want to get out"

"No, because you're going to pull me in instead."

A couple of the guys laugh. "She's on to you Glass" Filip says

Cody groans as you walk away laughing. He goes back to playing with the guys.

"He just wants your attention." Ashley says as you get back to the girls "We've stole you away from him."

"He has my full attention every time we hangout. I barely get to see you guys. He'll be okay for a few hours." You tell the girls causing a few to laugh.

Not even an hour later Cody joins you in the lounge chair. Throwing an arm around you.

"Pretty sure they only make these to fit one person to lay on." You tell him as you turn your head to face him.

"Then why do we fit perfectly on here together."

"Cody I'm half off the chair."

"Well get closer then, there's lots of room."

You roll your eyes and look over at Ellie, who was watching you two. "Don't give me that look." She whispers

Cody's arm wraps around waist and pulls you close to him. "I just want to cuddle for a minute, I've missed you." He says into the crook of your neck.

You laugh a little. "I've been here the whole time, how are you missing me?" You question as you run your nails over his arm.

"Because you're over here and not with me."

"I'm always with you and I never get to see the girls. Go do whatever it is the guys are doing over there. I was in the middle of something."

"Oh were you talking about me?" Cody says

You tired so hard to hide your smile. "No, because not everything is about you."

Cody pouts "Oh, fine then. I'll just leave." He says getting up and making his way over to his teammates.

Ellie let's out the laugh she was holding in. "If it's not today then sometime soon. He will crack and ask you out. Roman has been encouraging him to do it."

"But I don't want him to do it cause someone told him to. I want him to do it on his own." You say looking over at Cody, who happened to be talking to his captain.

"He will, but if he doesn't have at least a little push we know he won't do it for another ten years." Ellie explains

You sigh, knowing she was right. "What if I just did it? I'm a little tired of waiting around."

"Not a bad idea."

The sun had set and the party was moved inside. You we're feeling buzzed from all the wine you drank. Most importantly you were ready to tell Cody how you felt.

"I think I'm ready to do this." You tell the girls

"Go get your man." Some of the girls tell you as you walk in Cody's direction.

You squeeze between Dante and Cody, who had been hanging out almost all night.

"Sorry Dante I'm gonna need you to share him with me." You say wrapping your arms around Cody's waist. His arms automatically wrapping around your upper body and pulling you towards him.

Dante backs away with his hands up. "He's all yours."

You laugh a little before looking up at Cody. "I need to talk to you."

He looks down at you. "What's up?"

You rolls your eyes and let go of him. "Could we go somewhere more private?"

"Oh yeah, of course." He says taking your hand and leading you outside to the backyard.

You look back at the girls, they all smiled with thumbs up as you followed Cody out.

As soon as Cody closes the door his full attention is on you. "What is it that you wanted to talk about?" He asks, nervously stuffing his hands in his pockets.

You but your lip looking down at the ground. For the first time you couldn't look Cody i'm the eyes.
"Is everything okay Y/N?"

You nod as you look up at him. "Yeah, everything is-"

You were in shock as Cody grabbed your face and kissed you. You didn't expect it at all. Took you a while to actually register what was going on, before you tangled your hands in his hair and kissed him back.

"I'm really sorry. I don't know-" He starts as he pulls away.

"I like you Cody. Like more than friends" You interrupted him before he started to ramble.

He lets out a sigh of relief and smiles. "You have no idea how happy I am to hear that. Because I like you more than friends too." He pauses and locks his lips. "Can I kiss you again?"

You didn't hesitate to lean in for another a kiss. Fireworks going off in your head as you kissed your dream boy. This time you two caught the attention of everyone inside. You could hear the guys banging on the windows and door as they cheered for the two of you.

You two laughed as you pulled away. Pressing foreheads together Cody just stared into your eyes. "Want to get out of here?" He asked.

You thought about it but also thought it would just be nice. To spend the time, with all the people who hand been trying to get you two together for a while. "As much as I want to. Let's stay here so we don't have to hear all the heckling later on."

Cody laughs. "Yeah that's a smart idea."

As soon as you two got back inside. The boys dragged Cody away from you and started chirping him.

You laughed at how childish they all were. You returned to your spot with the girls.

"You're officially a Predators girl." Ellie says smiling.

"Well not technically we -"

"Oh shut up you know what I mean."
