"There's my girl"

A deep familiar voice said from behind you.

"Shhh Freddie"

You stood down the hall away from the dressing rooms.

You and Freddie have been dating since you two met at a hockey training camp over the summer. The only problem was that you played for the Boston Bruins and he played for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Two teams that should never come together. You thought it would be the best for you two to stay private. just until the season was over.

"Sorry my love it's just been so long since I actually saw you" He said as he pulled you in for a hug

"I know. I've missed you so much" You dug your head into his chest taking in his scent.

You were like this for a while until you heard one of your teammates call for you.

"Oh shit, I gotta go"

"Awe alright, Well I'll see you out there and go easy on us out there unlike you guys we're still trying to keep our playoff spot"

You laughed at him "I'll only go easy if you let me score on you"

He huffed out a laugh "We both know I can't do that"

You two kissed each other before finally walking away into each of your dressing rooms.

During the second intermission break Freddie told you to be careful during the third period because some of his teammates were planning on coming after you. You just shook it off and ignored the advice.

You skated out for the start of the third period the game was tied 3-3. You knew both teams were hard fighting for this win.

5 minutes into the period you skated down centre ice seeing that Pastrnak was open so you passed the puck. As soon as the puck left your stick you felt your feet leave the ground and then you suddenly hit the ice so hard.

You laid there on the ice trying to get up as you saw your teammates go after the guy and then watched it escalate into a line brawl. As you tried to get up again you then felt arms wrap around up but it wasn't your trainer.

"Freddie? What are you doing? You can't help me"

"Yeah? Just watch me. I'm not just gonna watch my girlfriend struggle on the ice while everyone else watches"

Freddie helped you up and met your trainer half way before handing you off. Freddie returned to his net and as the two teams settled down before the period started up again. You watched the rest of the game from the dressing room.

The game ended with the bruins taking the win. You felt bad for Freddie for not getting the win but you were happy your team pulled through with another win. As you laid on the therapy table for the second time tonight you heard the boys cheering and screaming about the win. It suddenly went quiet though then you heard a knock on the door.

"Come in" you said

Freddie opened the door and then closed it as he stepped in the room.

"Are you crazy? What are you doing here?"

"If me wanting to come see you and to check if you're okay after my teammate rocked you out there is crazy, then yes I'm crazy"

You laughed at him "I'm just surprised Marchy let you in here"

"So what's the damage. Let's see how hard I have to punch Matts"

"Well my knee is pretty messed up I'll be out for about 2 weeks they said"

"That's not that bad. Maybe you can stay here with me while you heal"

After you finished up with the doctor you then headed out into the dressing room where all the guys were. Freddie helped you with your crutches. As soon as the boys saw you both they started cheering and whistling cause you to go red and Freddie just laughed. You went over to your stall and sat down as Freddie left to wait for you.

"I knew it" DeBrusk said as he leaned over towards you

"What do you mean?"

"I knew you and Andersen had a thing going on. Every time we play the leafs you light up and during warm ups you guys like eye fuck each other"

You laughed at him as you put your stall back together.

You headed out to see Freddie still standing outside the door waiting for you.

"Ready to go home?" he asked

"Yup"

When you got home you and Freddie got into comfy clothes and cuddled up.

"Oh babe just letting you know our relationship is probably known league wide now maybe even worldwide" You gave him a confused look.

"The video of me helping you off the ice is on like every sports platform" you shrugged your shoulders

"I'm okay with that because now everyone knows how great of a boyfriend I have. I love you so much Frederik Andersen"
