You sat in your living room curled up in a ball with a big fluffy blanket wrapped around you. Your wonderful fun loving period had started this morning. You noticed you were low on you supplies so you asked Connor, your boyfriend, to grab some on his way home from practice. He agreed to it and with that he left to go to practice. You had sent him a picture of the box knowing he wasn't going to know what to buy so you thought you would help him out.

"Y/N I'm home" Connor yelled as he walked through the door

"Hey Con" you said as you gave him a welcoming kiss

"Uh Con, what's all this? I only asked for one box and I sent you a picture of it" you said referring to the three bags he had from the drug store

"Um well, I didn't see your text until I was done paying and I didn't wanna call you cause I thought I could do it on my own"

You just looked at him and laughed. "what made you buy everything" you said as you started taking things out of the bags

"I thought there was just one kind but boy was I wrong. I grabbed the one that looked familiar to me but then I saw others say wingless, with wings, super, light, regular. I was so confused so I just got them all. Oh and then I saw sport and I was thinking since you play sports that one can work too" He quickly spoke with a cute smile

"You're too cute but I think I need to teach you what all of these are used for so you know what to get when I ask"

You took your time laying out one of each product on the counter.

"Y/N are you serious" Connor said coming back into the room

"Yes because you should know what these are"

Connor sat down beside you and stared at everything in confusion.

"My only question is why is there so many to choose from"

You laughed at his question. "Okay so I'm gonna hold up something and you're gonna tell me what you think it is and how it works"

"easy enough"

"Okay, I'm gonna start off easy. What are these" you said as you held up pads

"I know they're pads but I don't know how you use them and what these are" Connor pointed to the wings in confusion

"Do you know how it works, like where would I put this?"

"Um, you some how stick this around your vagina and it acts like a bandaid or something, I don't know"

You started laughed historically at what he said.

"So I would take this part off and place the sticky part down in my underwear and for these. These are wings and they wrap around the underwear so it stays better and it also is extra protection from leaking"

"Oh geez"

"Alright so I'm gonna give you these and same thing. Tell me what they are and how it works" you said while passing him different sizes of tampons

Connor took them and started to feel them through the packaging.

"They feel weird. I don't know how to describe it but I do know they're tampons"

"What do you think the letters stand for"

"hmmm, the one with the S is really big so I'm gonna say this is super or something like that. But these ones are smaller. Is the L for large? I don't know what the R means"

You nodded your head at him "Okay so the S does stand for super but the L means Light and the R means regular. The letters are for what kind of flow girls have"

"Flow? what's a flow" he said raising his eyebrow at you

"Like the flow of a period. The amount of blood during your period"

"Oh that's a weird way to say it"

"How do you think they work?"

Connor started to open one of the tampons and looked at it funny "So doesn't this thing like go up your vagina and it just stays there like magic"

"You think this whole thing goes in someone?"

Connor nods still confused

"Okay so you are right it does goes in but not the whole thing. So I would push this and then this part would go in and then you use the string to pull it out"

You then showed what a tampon would look like after it is used by dipping it into water. He was really amazed by it.

"Okay Con, last one" You said as you handed him a patty liner

"This is a mini pad" he said confidently

"Ya that's basically what it is, it's just for girls who have really light flows"

You cleaned up everything and headed into the living room to lay down and watch some Netflix. Suddenly you looked up and saw Connor.

"I may not be good with all that period stuff but I do know how to make you feel better on your period" He said as he cuddled close to you with a tub of ice cream in his hand

"I love you so much Con. You always know exactly what I need"
