"Oh Y/N, you're here early. Brady isn't home yet" Chantal Tkachuk said as she opened the door

"Oh that's okay I can just wait for him in his room" you said as you walked in

You ran up the stairs, passing Brady's room. You looked around making sure no one saw you before opening the door to Matthew's room.

"Hey cutie" Matthew said as he walked towards you planting a kiss on your lips

You've been best friends with Brady since you can remember. You spent most of your time at the Tkachuk house or at Brady's games. You got really close with his whole family. But You got extra close with Matthew, Brady's older brother, maybe a little too close. You would come over to his house when Brady wasn't around so you could spend sometime with Matthew. When Brady asked you to hangout you would come a little earlier so that you had sometime with Matthew. 

It was hard sneaking around with Matthew and you hated keeping in from Brady. When you and Brady were younger you made a promise not to date each other's siblings. You felt really guilty about it but you just couldn't resist Matthew, he was just so cute.

You and Matthew were talking and cuddling in his bed until you heard.

"IM HOOOMMMEE"

"Oh shit Brady's home" you said getting up really fast

"What were you doing in Matthew's room" Taryn said causing you to jump

"Oh, uughh, I had to give him something" you said hoping she would believe you

She squinted her eyes at you "Hmm" she hummed as she walked to her room

You quickly walked into Brady's room before he got upstairs.

"Y/N!!" Brady yelled as he threw the door open

"Hey B" you said as you got up to hug him

You and Brady hung out in his room and then moved to his basement to shoot some pucks around. It was just the two of you until Matthew decided to come down and join you guys. The two brothers started to get really competitive so you just sat down and watched them play, not wanting to get in the middle.

As you sat there Matthew decided to start teasing you. He looked over at you and winked making you blush. He then started smirking.

"I'm getting so hot down here" He said as he pulled his shirt over his head and then running his hand through his hair

You where trying so hard not to look at him. You looked up at him and mouthed 'I hate you' to him. He just laughed and winked at you. You rolled your eyes and focused on Brady.

"Kids dinners ready!" Chantal called from the top of the stairs

You were about to follow Brady up the stairs when Matthew grabbed your arm and pulled you into him.

"You're so mean" You said referring to what he did to you

"Oh but you love me"

You just smiled before kissing him.

"I forgot m— WHAT THE!!"

You pushed Matthew away from you and you looked at Brady with sorry in your eyes.

Dinner was awkward no one said much just the usual questions from Keith and Chantal about life. After dinner the three of you sat in the living room.

"I guess I should te—" you said breaking awkward silence

"What do you need to tell me I kinda figured it out. Y/N how could you. You broke our promise" Brady interrupted

It went silent again and the Brady turned to you and Matthew.

"How long?" He asked

"What?"

"How long have you two been dating"

You looked at Matthew "6 months now" Matthew spoke

Brady just got up and walked to this room. You heard the door slam. You sighed still sitting with Matthew in the living room not knowing what to say or do.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. You knew Matthew wasn't going to get it and no one else was around so you got up to answer it.

"Emma?" You said as you saw your younger sister on the other side of the door

"Y/N!! Oh ugh, wrong house" She said as she was about to turn around

"Is that Brady's hoodie"

You quickly grabbed her, pulling into the house.

You got Taryn to call for Brady knowing he wasn't gonna listen to you or Matthew

"Brady, someone's here for you" Taryn yelled out

Brady came running down the stairs and then stopped as he looked up seeing you beside Emma.

"Care to explain why my sister is wearing your hoodie" you asked

"Ughh, well" he said as he scratched the back of his neck 

"So how long have you two been dating now" you looked between Brady and Emma

"4 months" Brady said giving up

"I think you owe Y/N an apology because it looks like she isn't the only one who broke the promise" Matthew said

"B I'm willing to forget about that dumb promise and I'm also willing to forget about all this and start over but only if you will too"

"What promise?" Brady said as he looked up at you

You laughed at him and pulled him into a hug.

For the rest of the day you all hung out in the living room together. You cuddled up with Matthew while Brady cuddled up with Emma.

"I hate all of you" Taryn said as she looked over at everyone and walked away

You all laughed and enjoyed the rest of the movie.
