***Your POV***

BEEP-BEEP!!!!

I heard the horn of my best friend's car honk from the front of the house so I hurried out and hopped in.

"Hey, Sean" I said getting into his car and giving him a sideways hug

"Hey Y/N, ready to go?" he asked with a smile

"Yea" I said

Sean was taking me to a little get together that the team was hosting at one of the guy's house's. For a little celebration on how hard they work in the playoffs.

We finally got there after driving through all the Calgary traffic. I got out of the car and walked up to the door with Sean right behind me and rang the door bell. I saw a shorter looking guy near the door, in which he opened it with a really big and bright smile. I then realized it was Johnny. I then felt my heart beat speed up. I've always had a huge crush on Johnny since the day we first met. No one else about it, not even Sean

"Hey guys" Johnny said as he opened the door

"Hey Johnny" Sean said as he walked in

"H-hey J-Johnny" I said nervously as I looked down and walked in past him

Everyone was talking and having drinks. I was walking around saying hi to everyone and meeting so many new people. I then just grabbed a drink and sat down in the living room with a couple other people, who I didn't really know.

***Johnny's POV***

She looked so beautiful just sitting there alone. I wanted to just walk up to her grab her face and kiss her sweet and full looking lips but I couldn't. I was to scared she didn't feel the same about me. I guess Sean saw me starring at her because he came up to me a started talking.

"Johnny just go talk to her" He said

"I can't just go up to her" I said nervously

"Yes you can Johnny she's just sitting alone. She needs someone to talk to. Johnny just go you don't know how she actually feels about you until you try. Who knows you might be surprised" Sean said with confidence

"I guess you're right Sean I gotta learn to talk to girls one day" I said with a sigh

I walked away from Sean and right towards   Y/N, feeling really nervous. I stopped on my way and looked back at Sean who was just waving his hand telling me to move faster, so I did. She looked up at me and gave me a small smile. I smiled back and sat beside her.

"You look like you could use someone to talk to" I said a little less nervous

"Yeah that would be nice" she said smiling bigger

We talked a lot and got to know each other some more. Just as we were in the middle of a  conversation Mark Giordano called everybody outside for the fireworks. As we walked outside onto the deck, waiting for the fireworks to start, Y/N started to rub her bare arms so I took my hoodie off and wrapped it around her and I then wrapped my arm around her. She surprisingly leaned in closer to me making me feel so happy.

***Your POV***

Feeling Johnny's arm around me made me feel safe. I moved closer to him making me feel all warm inside and giving me butterflies in my stomach.

As the fireworks started to go off I looked up at Johnny and he looked down at you. I saw the reflection of the fireworks in his big brown eyes that made me melt inside. We were just staring at each other when Johnny started to lean in slowly. My heart started racing and then I found myself leaned in too. Our kiss under the fireworks felt so magical. When we pulled apart we smiled at each other and the I started blushing. I then placed my head back on his shoulder as we watched the sky light up with fireworks.
