"The flight to Toronto is leaving in half an hour. Last call to bored the plane."

You quickly ran to the plane and into your seat. You were coming from Detroit because your father, Mike Babcock, had moved from Detroit to Toronto to coach the Toronto Maple Leafs.

***After the Plane Ride***

You got off the plane and headed into the airport. You stood at the top of the stairs looking for your dad. You spotted him and quickly ran down the stairs to him. You embraced him in a large hug, you haven't seen him in forever.

"Hey, sweetie!! How are you? How was your flight?" he said while letting you go

"I'm great dad and the flight was good a little bit of turbulence but over all it was great" you replied

"That's great sweetie. Now let's go get your bags and head to the house, your going to love this city"

After a little drive you got to your dads giant house. Your dad parked the car. You got out with a look of amazement on your face, it was bigger then the house in Detroit.

Your dad laughed at the look on your face as you two walked in through the front door. The inside was even better then the outside. You were looking around when your dad spoke up.

"Honey I know you wanna look around and unpack but we have to go. I have a practice to coach."

"Oh okay" you said heading back to the car

***At the Arena***

You walked into the Air Canada Centre with your dad and went downstairs to where the dressing room was. You were a little nervous cause you were meeting the leafs for the first time and you hated them all your life. So you were surprised when you heard the news about your dad becoming the head coach of the leafs.

Your dad had gone in the locker room making you wait outside the door. Since there was half naked guys in there. Your dad finally came out. You two walked towards the ice. As you got to the bench you looked up in amazement. You never thought to see yourself sitting in the ACC.

"This is so cool" you said to your dad while sitting down on the bench and looking around

"It is isn't it" he replied

Your dad stepped out on the ice and took a lap around the rink. All of a sudden you hear someone talk behind you.

"First time here?" you heard the voice say

"Ughh...yeah" you replied while turning around

As you turned around you saw one of the players, a goalie to be exact. He was wearing a blue practice jersey with his helmet propped up on his head. The number 45 painted on it.

"You must be Y/N, coach's daughter" he said

"Umm...yeah I am" you replied

"I've heard a lot about you. I'm Jonathan Bernier by the way, one of the goalies for the leafs as you can see" he said while laughing a bit

"Oh I hope all good things and yeah I could tell" you laughed a little

There was something about Jonathan that made you feel some type of way. You didn't know what. You looked into his grey blue eyes and instantly fell in love.

"So I see you two have met" you heard your dad say as he skated towards you

"Yup" You said popping the "p"

"I'm happy you're making friends but now it's time for practice" your dad said as he motioned Jonathan to get on the ice

***End of Practice***

During practice you met and talked to so many new people. You already felt like you where at home, even if you hated the team. You watched everyone do their drills and skills but all you wanted to watch was Jonathan. You where amazed by how he stopped pucks and how he went from one side of the net to the other so fast. You'd mostly watch Jonathan when he was focused on something because if he wasn't he would look around and end up making eye contact with you.

He had come up to you a couple of times during practice to grab of water. He always had a cute smile on his face that made your heart melt. His eyes made the feeling worse, you were a big suck for guys with nice eyes so when he looked you in the eyes you would melt even more. You automatically knew you were falling in love with him.

"Y/N, Y/N" your dad yelled

"Huh, oh yeah dad" you replied coming out of your thoughts

"I'm going to be in a meeting for about an hour you can stay here if you want or you can go to the back" he said pointing down the hall

"Oh it's okay I'll just stay here" you replied pointing down at the bench

About 5 minutes into your wait you were on your phone playing games and checking your social media. When all of a sudden someone covers your eyes with their hands.

"Guess who" said the familiar voice

You smiled at who it was and said

"Hmmm, I don't know who can it be"

Jonathan started laughing as he removed his hands from your eyes and sat down next to you.

"So what are you doing over here?" he asked

"Just waiting for my dad to finish up his meeting" you replied

"So how was your first day" he asked

"It was great surprisingly. I met so many new people and they're all so nice" you replied

"Y/N I'm done we can go now" you heard your dad from the hallway

You sighed and said "okay dad be right there" with a little bit of a sad tone in your voice

You didn't want to leave Jonathan. You loved talking to him and spending time with him. You grabbed your phone from beside you and got up but before you could walk away Jonathan had grabbed your hand. Sending butterfly feelings up your arm you turned around.

"Y/N I know it's weird that you're my coaches daughter but would you want to got out sometime like on a, on a...." Jonathan said nervously

"Like on a date" you said finishing his sentence

"Yeah a date" he said looking down

"I'd love to" you said

Jonathan looked up at and started to stand in front of you. He was now looking down at you while you looked up at him. You couldn't stop looking into his beautiful eyes. You both started to lean in slowly. You guess he wanted to make the  first move because he finished it off by leaning in all the way and filled the gap in between you two. The kissed lasted about 5 seconds because you were scared your dad was going to come back looking for you. Since you had to leave.

"So tomorrow after the game we go out for dinner?" he asked

"Sure" you said

You gave him a hug and walked down the hall to go find your dad with the biggest smile on your face.
