divergent_spn61 requested this one, and she said I could do whatever I want with it.  I think this imagine is going to be interesting.  If you like it, then don't be shy!!!  I am looking for imagines to write for the next month while I am on break so I don't get too bored.

Also, Total NHL will also be updated sometime this week.

"It's okay, Dylan.  I have to go away now.  I need to fade for the greater good of the world.  You'll be okay."

The sun was just starting to set in the background as the two star-crossed lovers gaze into each other's eyes one last time.  They just went on their last adventure together.  Dylan and Y/N have fought the darkness off for as long as they can remember together.  They have always saved people, hunted things, continued the business of their ancestors for as long as they knew each other.

That final battle still raged in their heads.  They rescued their long time friend, Henrik, from the darkness just before their arch nemesis, Gary, could harness Henrik's body as a new vessel.  This mission to save their doomed friend came to a close just in the nick of time.  However, it was with a sacrifice for the adventuring duo.

Y/N mustered up her last amount of strength to get up and walk towards the ocean.  Dylan slowly trails behind her with his cape blowing in the breeze.  Y/N collapses right next to the beckoning waves of the sea as the sun faded into a dulling red.

Dylan asked Y/N, "If you're not really here, then what was the point of all of this?"

Y/N smiled at Dylan, "Dylan, I have been here the whole time.  I wanted to let you know that it is okay to be different from the rest of them.  This is only the beginning of the many stories you and I will share together.  Isn't that all life is, just a collection of stories?  This adventure was just a small way for you and I to be united even when our heads are far apart.  Our hearts, Dylan, will never be so far apart, even as I fade once again from memory.  I'll be back soon, Dylan.  I....love you."

Dylan never cried harder in his life, just as he heard Henrik walk to the pair and say, "Congratulations.  You completed the quest of 'The Broken Vessel of New York' and have now experienced the world of nerdom for the first of many times."

The twilight beach fades away from Dylan Larkin and Henrik Zetterberg leave the almost invisible Y/N to her untimely death.

Dylan yowls out as he feels the fabric of his make believe cape as Henrik shuts the journal on the table in the middle of an average Detroit, Michigan apartment.

"I just want Y/N to be actually here with me!  Why did she have to fade in both the adventure and in real life?!??"

Henrik laid his hand on Dylan's shoulder to calm him down, "Because that's her job.  Heck, I betcha she doesn't even know you're still waiting for her to come back."

Dylan sighed and stared out the window pane as the snow and fog started to roll into the quiet city.  He just wanted his one true love back for good.  No more tours to Europe, Asia, Australia, Canada, around the United States.  He just wants his girl home for more than a few hours at a time.

But instead, she had a dream that did come true: becoming the number one WWE Superstar in the world.  At least Dylan did have that adventure that he completed with Henrik on their off days.  Little did Dylan know that Y/N's adventure that she wrote for him was actually her journal.  She put down all of her thoughts about the NHL and the WWE and made some people allies, while others were the sworn enemy.

The snow came down heavier and heavier as the young player wished for his high school sweetheart to come back for once while he lingered.

He opened the journal once again to the last page, and traced the words Y/N etched in there for him to see after the adventure ended.

Dylan,

I wish we could of gone on this adventure together.  Unfortunately, I could not because I was on the road again.  It seems like life never slows down for a moment, but you completed my adventure.  Of course, it came at a cost as my character died but she'll come back to your character.

As will I.

Love,

Y/N the Stoic

Dylan smiled at the simple love note from her.  They may never see each other again, but they will always remember each other.  The chair next to him slams into the table, almost knocking the precious journal off the table.

Someone was knocking at his door.  Henrik bolted to the door, and answered it.

There Y/N stood, with another journal in her hands.  Dylan looked at the journal in her possession, and she smiled knowingly at him.

Y/N then walked over to their game of Dungeons and Dragons, and started to set up the latest adventure Dylan would embark.

And the sun rose on the beach as the trio of heroes set off on yet another journey to stop the darkness and the evil sorcerer MeekMahan along with his goons.  They walked along the beach to go on and kill the monsters.

divergent_spn61 I hoped you like this a lot!  For those of you who don't know, I based this off of the play She Kills Monsters.   I had no clue it would turn out like this, but hey if it works then why not go on and use it??  I apologize if it is short and does not make sense.

Feel free to message in requests at any time!  I will reply as quick as I can.
